Muse Restaurant in Great Yarmouth

I had high hopes for this beautifully located restaurant when I booked to have dinner here with my partner on a Saturday night. It was a lovely sunny day but a little too cold to enjoy the terrace so we sat inside. Our hopes of a lovely experience were soon dashed by the *dreadful* service we received apart from Jack's valiant effort to help us. He kept coming in from the busy terrace to attend to us although he had enough on his plate outside. It was a pitiful experience, as if we were invisible. Oh well, at least the food was OK. We won't choose Muse again.

It was a friend's wedding day and it was a lovely day. I got married at the Cliff hotel 12yrs ago before the changes were made.

They were serving the same menu but in the Cliff Bar instead of The Muse restaurant which was closed. The food didn't look anything like the photos others have posted on here. All of the reviews with the fancy looking food were written a year ago or more. It's a shame because from the old photos the food looked delicious.

It took them 45 mins to bring starters out. I ordered salad and leaves were very dry as if they weren't washed or left out all day and another 40 mins before the main came out. I ordered 6oz rib eye and my partner ordered 10oz sirloin but what we got instead was 8oz rib eye and 8oz fillet. Very disappointing.

We have visited this restaurant, many, many times. However, lunch yesterday was let down by the standard of cleanliness re; the vinegar bottle. I had already used it & placed it back on the table when I saw the disgusting state of the sprinkler. I had not used much on my fish, so consumed that, but I could not stomach the vinegar soaked chips. I pointed it out to Diogo, our server, when he cleared the table. He could not have been more apologetic & when the bill arrived, we were not charged for our wine, beer or coffee.We would rather have paid the full price, without being grossed out by what I might have inadvertently consumed.

The restaurant itself is stunning - decor is lovely. Service was very good. My mum and I had lunch from the 3 courses for £12 menu. We both had ribs which were amazing. Mum had seabass and she liked hers. I had steak (risky as am very fussy with my steak). I asked if they could cook it blue, steak came out and I got medium rare. Nice piece of meat and didn't want to be a pain and make them cook another one so I ate it and it was ok. The blue cheese sauce with it was very nice. We both had lemon panna cotta tart which was amazing. Overall good experience except my steak so I took a star off.

This is a mixed review of Muse Restaurant. My partner had found this restaurant and booked a table before we left for our weekend away. I checked out the website and menu before we went and was very excited and was looking forward to some fine dinning food, that I can say the food we had was certainly not fine dining, or what I saw that others were having. I think I would have had a better meal at a Hungry Horse pub!! The website gives the impression it also has extensive cocktail menus and again it was the standard list of about 10ish. My partner ordered Filet Steak and said it was lovely and he was most pleased, I ordered a surf and turf, when arrived no turf and my steak was awful, was cooked well done and I asked for Med-rare and almost tasted like washing up liquid, complained and had a whole new plate and again was not a nice steak. The presentation of the plate was again standard, so for me not the best meal. The place is lovely, very stylish and if weather was nice the outside and views would be amazing. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Very tasteful decor and the food was first class. Prompt and wonderful friendly service from waitress Melissa. I would definitely go again.

Lovely room, clean, attentive staff, tables spaced well apart. Small menu but enough choice, the steak and pork ribs were cooked to perfection. The food arrived hot and the beer and wine were chilled. All in all a perfect meal for us.

We ate on a very busy night and with staff having shortages due to the pandemic, which is noone’s fault at all, however, our amazing server Diogo was really nice and made the whole experience great! He was really attentive and a super waiter. My order was spot on as I asked for an adjustment to the dish, the food was amazing; really great flavours and my husband said he had the best bean burger he’d ever had. I had tuna steak and it was really juicy and impeccably seasoned.In these difficult times, we are so grateful there are places like this open and tackling the challenges to mean people can still enjoy a nice meal.Thank you Diogo for being amazing despite the current craziness!

Stayed here twice in past years for events and had a great time. Decided to try out restaurant and see what’s new. The Cliff Hotel has definitely been renovated and love the Art Deco theme especially the Muse Restaurant. Excellent service from the waiters. My cauliflower fritter starter with garlic sauce was moreish but left room for our chateaubriand. So tender it melted only disappointment it was not carved at the table. Will definitely return next time we visit Yarmouth.

Fantastic food and great service from Georgia tonight, could not be happier.

My husband and I dined here on a weekday evening and the service was outstanding. Our food was delicious, cooked to perfection and delivered in a very timely fashion. Diogo couldn’t have done more for us, very attentive and considerate. Obrigada, Diogo! As a first dining experience since lockdown it was definitely a winner, and we will definitely be returning when we’re in the area again.

My girlfriend and I are not the type to complain nor walkout of a restaurant, but this was a truly disastrous experience - awful service. We cannot comment on the quality of food as we didn’t get that far, but the service was just awful. Upon arrival, the front of house warned us it was very busy and we should expect a delay before receiving any food, despite an almost empty dining area. Usually this would be fine, but it was said in such a rude and abrupt way. 10 minutes passed and we were given some menus and the server listed off circa 10 different things that weren’t available, again delivered very abruptly. A bottle of water was plonked I on our table (no glasses) and no offer to order drinks. Another 10 mins passed and we asked to order some drinks, no cocktails as they had no ice, no explanation available either. No food, no ice and no care for a couple who had planned a 3 course meal with drinks. What kind of place is this? After wasting almost an hour at this place to get nothing more then a bottle of water, we walked out very disappointed. It was too late to go elsewhere, so instead we treated ourselves to a Tesco finest curry and a bottle of cab sav - Tesco Beccles, now that’s somewhere I would recommend.

From start to finish this was a beautiful dining experience.From the greet to the end, staff were polite friendly and approachable.The food was cooked to pure perfection, the chef did a great job.I ordered a chicken dish and the meat was just heaven cooked just right, tender, juicy moreish, the mark of a great chef.The price was great and felt real value for money.My thanks to all the staff who are a true credit and Georgia who just shone and enjoyed her job which is nice to see.I hope they get commended.Fully reccomend 100%

Lovely meal, first time being here served by Diogo a very professional waiter made us feel very welcome.

I like independent hotels. They manage to try harder than the big, faceless hotel and restaurant. Muse at the Cliff hotel was great. At first I wasn't impressed by the art deco design, but it grew on me and it works. I ended up liking it. The food is nothing to shout about but it was well prepared and the staff, in particular Diogo, were very good, that includes the lovely lady at breakfast.

Half way meet for my good friend & I, I booked Muse restaurant & we had the best meal. Pork belly main for both of us. brownie, bread & butter pudding for dessert. A lovely shiraz wine with our meal.The staff waitress Ebony & restaurant manager Aris went above & beyond making our night a very special evening. Would definitely recommend & will definitely be coming back.

Arrived for a romantic meal the weekend before Valentine's Day and we had the place to ourselves! One other couple were just leaving as we turned up but due to the quiet time of year we had the choice of where to sit and the full attention of all staff. Such a bubbly and helpful waitress Melissa, who couldn't do enough for us, she was attentive and had some great recommendations but still kept enough distance to allow us our privacy :) The food was delicious and gave you ample portions so you won't leave here hungry that's for sure. They were more than happy to accomodate our requests for custom meal choices and everything was quick to be served and absolutely delicious. We would not hesistate to come again if we're back in the area again.

Raw/cold vegetables. Bad table service! Couldnt supply a cushion after asking three times and asked for a jug of water that never arrived!

We went two nights in a row here - Sunday and Monday in July.We also had one breakfast in here on the Monday.The first evening, we walked into an empty restaurant. Two more couples came in to eat during the one and a half hours we were here.The next evening again was empty and one couple came in later.One thing we really disliked about this place was that smoking is allowed in the bar outside area and all the grounds - whilst we were sitting by the open doors to the garden in this restaurant, one of the other couple got up and stood outside the doors, slightly to the right, smoking a roll up. It was very unpleasant.Outside in the bar area, on the verandah, people kept smoking as well, we had to move because of one person and go inside, although it was a beautiful, warm evening, the smell of smoke was not nice at all. So be aware this is going on all the time at this place.The first evening we had starters of scallps and pork belly. Both looked lovely. The scallops were perfectly cooked but whatever was underneath them, tasted bitter and was horrible. The pork belly was a fairly good size for the price charged and tasted perfect.Next we ordered the chicken supreme and a rib eye steak.Both courses took a very long time to come - I dread to think how long food would take if it were busy!The chicken was ok, it had a bit of a funny flavour and we felt it was not worth the £13.95 charge.The rib eye steak was a bit overdone and chewy, we looked around for someone to complain to but the restaurant was empty and remained so for the next few minutes, so we decided to just eat the food.I had one drink which also tasted not quite right and when the person brought our meals to us, my husband said my wifes drink isn't right, it tastes off and he laughed and walked off - the drink was left on the table and we were still charged for it.The next evening we thought we'd give it another chance as there aren't any other good restaurants nearby but it was a mistake.On the Monday we were told by the waitress that there was a different pricing system in operation from Monday to Thursday - 2 courses for £18, 3 courses for £22.We ordered the pork belly expecting the same but got served much smaller portions and whereas the butternut squash puree had also been plentiful last night, tonight it was a small smear on the plate.The pork was also a bit chewy, not the same as last night.For main course we had the fillet of beef. We weren't asked how we wanted it cooked and when it arrived we saw that it was two quite thin pieces of meat put across the supposedly roast potatoes which looked like new potatoes with their skins on that had been lightly fried - so a disappointing meal. The beef was ok, better than the steak on the previous evening! The brocalli was sparse - one cooked properly, one too hard to eat.This restaurant has so much wrong with it. Service is appalling, I think the young people employed have no experience and no common sense - they don't ask what to do if unsure, they just leave a customer with very poor service.The prices charged here are high, the food and service is not worth what you pay.Breakfast was not very good quality - the fruit salad tasted like it had been made one or two days before.My bacon was hard and the tomatoes were dried out - I think they'd been kept warm for far too long. It's a shame food isn't freshly cooked.Breakfast is £9.95, we only ate once here and went elsewhere as it wasn't to our liking.I would not eat here again.

Went there as a party of five on the 19.6.19. Wonderful interior, charming staff and the food was delicious. Take advantage of their special offer and you wont regret it. £185 for five including drinks. Not too bad at all.

Very nice 3 course set menu for £22, the fillet of beef was especially good.

Staff very welcoming and friendly, food was amazing. Atmosphere relaxed. Very pleasant for an afternoon lunch. Will definitely be back again.

Just returned from High Tea at this restaurant situated in the Cliff Hotel, to celebrate our 3rd wedding anniversary. Cannot praise the staff and food enough. The service was excellent, very attentive without being intrusive. The food was amazing, and presented well. On paying the bill we where met with a lovely gesture our glasses of bubbly where complimentary. Thank you so much. We have visited many times in the past and once again on this occasion not disappointed. We will be returning.

My favourite place to visit, the food was top quality as always, the venue has a lovely relaxed atmosphere and the service from Jinson was excellent. All staff are friendly and helpful. As a non meat eater I am always more than satisfied with the choice and you can tell only the highest quality of ingredients are used. highly recommend. Thankyou Muse for a perfect evening!

We were greeted very pleasantly by the staff members and seated at our table. We started off with a cocktail each which were divine. We had starters, mains and dessert. The scallops to start were fine dining at its best as was the duck I had for my main. The brownie for dessert had the look of quality restaurant but warm comforting homely taste. Throughout the staff were very efficient, friendly and knowledgable and the surroundings and atmosphere were perfect. I’d highly recommend to anyone.

Great first visit to Muse! Me and my partner have always loved coming to the Cliff in the summer for drinks on their terrace and have been meaning to dine at Muse since it opened. The restaurant itself is beautifully designed - it has a Gatsby feel to it which I love! The food was excellent, I especially enjoyed my starter of Scallops and my dessert of Sticky toffee pudding. Staff were friendly and attentive. Will definitely be visiting again soon with friends!

We had seen such devious looking menus and followed the Facebook page since it’s opening around 9 months ago, so we finally booked for valentines menu on February 14th. We arrived to a pretty much empty restaurant with only 2 tables occupied, by as you’d expect other couples. We went in and were shown to our table, in the corner in a very bland and clinical pure white restaurant, there was a nice looking bar right in the centre but no bar stools around so again empty. We persevered and looked at the menu and wine list which both looked reasonable. We ordered a bottle of Shiraz and when it arrived I asked if they had red wine glasses for this to be told the small, cheap almost port glasses on the table were the only stemmed glasses they had! Now, if this was a small back street restaurant I guess I could understand this but as 4 star hotel with numerous bars and restaurants I thought this beggars belief, especially as they have not a bad wine list and some quite expensive, think how annoyed you’d be if you ordered their bottle of Dom Perignon at £200 and being told to drink it out of these glasses on the table. Anyway we didn’t want to spoil our evening so we persevered, I order the ravioli for my starter and my partner ordered the soup, I was quite surprised as mine arrived to see literally 2 pieces of ravioli with no suace and only a sprig if parsley to garnish, anyway again I persevered, however the first bite was terrible and completely raw and tasteless, it was honestly like eating raw pastry. I waved over the waitress and she removed it and around 20mins later returned with another soup for me apologising and saying the chef confirmed the ravioli was raw and didn’t know how this had happened! The soup was nice however and we both quite enjoyed it, even if we did have to eat separately!Anyway along came the mains, I had the rack of lamb, well it was called a rack of lamb but it was actually 2 pieces cut from the rack on a bed of peppers, taste was good but barely no edible food on the dish. My partner ordered the fish and again taste wasn’t bad but the amount of fish was the size of a birds eye fish finger! For our next course we ordered the cheese and biscuits to share and have to say this was very good. More food here than we had had between us thus far. We then were offered coffee and my partner ordered an Espresso I had a latte and my partner said he would also like to enjoy a brandy. Some time past and the petit fours as promised arrived, again so disappointing, only a strawberry cut in half and 2 macaroons! Then the coffees arrived which were fine and then along came the brandy.... in a shot glass!! We looked in disbelief and asked for a brandy glass, off she went and returned 10 mins later with yet another port style glass that were on the table upon arrival, stating they did not have any other glasses! We just in the end laughed and swiftly left. But laughing aside I was absolutely gutted as this was our valentines treat and it had been an awful experience. The restaurant remained dead throughout our experience with no atmosphere and I can see why but again I can’t understand a large 4 star hotel with multiple bars and restaurants can get this so wrong!!!My only advice is to stay well away!!!!

Having booked and eaten at Muse in the past, we really looking forward to a celebration dinner in this lovely restaurant, based in the Cliff Hotel. Sadly, it didn’t live up to past standards. We arrived and wanted to be seated. And waited, and waited and waited. Totally ignored. Eventually, we chose a table and sat down. And waited, and waited and waited. In the end, I went to grab a waiter myself. The menus on the tables were not the high quality restaurant menu, but a bar menu ( scampi, beefburger, pasta etc). Many of the clientele were not exactly what you’d expect! So. We eventually got the a la carte menu. (Expensive but lovely). But surely, they can’t be all things to all people?Food was lovely, except for my sirloin, (a third if it was gristle). Desserts. Delicious. Waited forever for coffee. No one came. Managed in the end to attract attention. Two lattes please? Nope. Machine is off as they are getting new beer lines fitted. Sorry Muse. That’s not my fault. We eventually got a cafetière of coffee. I am still here but will be refusing to pay for it! It had all the coffee grounds on top of the filter and therefore in our cups.Will be a long time before we come again. Unless this is replied to with a great discount offered!!! Very poor at top price. Not good enough by a long way

Have visited this restaurant twice since its refurbishment and have never been disappointed with the food .Décor is very nice and there are a number of booths that give the intimate touch.Menu is very nice and offers a good selection for all tastes. Always receive a warm welcome and quickly shown to our seats without any fuss.Food is to a very high standard but can be a bit timely in coming out. I am always happy to wait a reasonable amount of time but close to an hour for a main really needs addressing, I would accept this in a restaurant that is full to the brim but with three covers in it is not acceptable.The service here is superb .Tom our waiter is first class, attentive professional and has a keen eye for detail , a credit to the establishment.Plus points in order: Service (Tom) , Food , followed by venue.Points to improve : Timely delivery of food & noise from kitchen.Free parking , easily accessible for people with mobility challenges (steep ramp to restaurant) Great Service.

We had our breakfast in here, which was absolutely fabulous. The staff were extremely attentive, very friendly and helpful.

Booked a table online for a family meal, staff didnt know appear to know a table had been booked but we got told to sit anywere because the restaurant was completely empty. After ordering we waited an hour for our meal to arrive, when the food finally came it wasnt anything special or very hot but we were starving by then so didnt care. Dessert was more of the same so we were disappointed overall especially after reading the positive reviews on here. We wouldnt come here again there's no atmosphere at all and its a cold room on a winter day. I cant imagine how they would cope with a busy service of more than one table of diners. Disappointing

My mum and I stayed at the Cliff hotel and the weather was too bad to go out so we decided to try the Muse restaurant at the hotel. Great service, good food and a warm welcome , will definitely return

Cannot speak too highly of this restaurant. I do not drink alcohol and was fearing the usual option of coke but was offered a beautiful mocktail on arrival. The menu has a good selection, both myself and my friend had the scallops to start, cooked to perfection and a lovely light dish to start. My friend chose the fillet steak, no measly portions here the steak was cooked just as requested and was like butter in your mouth, accompanied by hand cooked chips and all the trimmings with a choice of at least five sauces (maybe) more. I had the chicken supreme, again the chicken was moist and the sauce and accompaniments all excellent. I had the sticky toffee pudding, a lovely variation on the normal, absolutely delicious and my friend had the Eton mess, she assured me it was the best she’d had. The service from all the staff was exemplary especially Tom. The decor is delightful, we had a marble topped table near the window but there are some lovely little ‘booth’ type seating areas to one side. I really cannot wait to go back, this is such wonderful find in Gorleston to be able to experience fine dining in a lovely relaxed atmosphere, yet still feeling very special. The food here compares to any I’ve had in other fine dining establishments. If you want fine dining, with excellent service in a lovely surrounding at a reasonable price this is the place to be.

Visited yesterday for our 10th Anniversary and included overnight stay, which was where we married 10 years ago, the ceremony room, has had an outstanding refurbishment into Muse restaurant. Very quiet guess the after xmas lull, had choice of table we chose the booth, comfy seating, marble top table. Met the marvelous Melissa, who certainly made our evening, such a people person, very attentive, down to earth, nothing to much trouble, and I am a tricky customer and hard to please. We all ate the catch of the day, fish & chips, or (whale in disguise as so massive)followed by Eton Mess, slight issue with this, although very tasty wasn't as illustrated, discount allowed off the bill for this.I will be back to try it again, as per picture so Melissa be warned we will be back!!! Finished off our meal with some smoking cocktails.Fab evening, great company, couldn't ask for more.

We had food in the bar RESTURANT the fish was the biggest and best had in 50years was so crisp and large ! The chips very tasty as well Breakfast was lovely cooked fresh to order all local produce Yes would recommend

Was lucky to win a competition on Facebook earlier this year. Finally got around to claiming it this evening. Food was faultless. Will be back.

First time here, lovely food and cooked to order, nice cocktail menu with helpful waitress, Melissa who helped to pick our wine and the best drinks to go with our food. We would’ve liked a bit more atmosphere with more people in the restaurant.

Late Sunday carvery with three family members , good choice of meat and so many vegetables to pick from

Four of us went to Muse last night. We were told the soup of the day was Cauliflower and Cheddar. So for starters two of us ordered the soup, one ordered the pig cheeks and the other ordered the smoked salmon. We waited ages but when it did come we were given Minestrone (well that's what it looked like) soup. So obviously we raised this with the waiter who took it away. We were then told they would see to it that I was changed. Our other friends were left to eat their starters whilst we sat going hungry. We asked if we could have a bread roll to eat while we waited. We were given 2 bread rolls on a plate - no plates or knives!! By the time our soup came out, we had no roll left! The friend who ordered the pig cheeks was very disappointed as it appeared there was only one pig cheek and it was more like an amuse bouche. Two of us ordered the salmon fillet for main which was very overcooked. It was served with mash and holondaise sauce. It was so dry as there was not enough sauce. Overall a very disappointing meal.

We hosted our Christmas staff party here and it was amazing. The restaurant is beautiful, the staff were attentive and couldnt do enough for our party of 25! Food was amazing.

The service and food quality was superb. The restaurant has recently had a refurbishment and has been fitted out to an excellent standard. I thoroughly recommend the pigs cheek starter which melted in your mouth! The cocktails are pretty special too!

I have been wanting to go to Muse for some time after seeing all the fabulous pictures and great reviews of high standards on Facebook. Tonight I was lucky enough to celebrate my Son's birthday there and now can't wait to go back. With wonderful decor It far exceeded my expectations with outstanding food and service, I had scollops to start and one of the best vegetarian mains of mushroom wellington I've ever tasted. Served by Tom, who was attentive, friendly and professional (an asset to Muse), we were made to feel welcome and special. I highly recommend Muse and look forward to visiting again. We visited Muse on Tuesday evening. My niece had won a three course meal for four on Facebook with a bottle or Prosecco. There were no restrictions and the food was absolutely delicious! 3 scallop and a squid starters - all superb. For mains we had 2 fillet steaks, 1 duck and 1 belly of pork - all were cooked to perfection. The desserts were also delicious - 1 hazelnut and chocolate cheesecake, 1 lemon posset, 1 bread and butter pudding and 1 cheese and biscuits. Will most definitely be returning. Tom, who looked after us all nice was exceptional!

Amazing service and brilliant food. The menu is ambitious with interesting options, including great veggie and vegan options. I was sad when my plate became empty and can't wait for tomorrow night to have another go!

Took the opportunity of eating at the restaurant whilst staying at the hotel. The starters came up as delicious very small portions, however, the main courses and sides were enormous, so much so that we couldn't fit in desert. The food was delicious and there is a very reasonable wine list. The kitchen also serves the bar, we also ate from that menu, however the scampi was really disappointing but everything else that was ordered was good.

I enjoyed a great bottomless Sunday lunchhere. The prosecco was free-flowing and the very attentive staff were always on hand to top up our glasses. The food was delicious and well presented. All in all it’s great value for money. The only slightly criticism is that the restaurant was empty apart from our group which meant there wasn’t a lot of atmosphere but I’m sure this will change as word spreads.

Both myself and my partner visited muse last week and I can’t praise this place enough! Our food was excellent we had scallops and mackerel for starters and the chicken supreme and chickpea curry as mains everything was extremely tasty. Service was great we were served by a young lady called Flavia really polite,helpful and extremely friendly and professional. She had a few more tables in the restaurant and managed to keep in control always topping up our drinks making sure everything was ok! Nothing was too much trouble for her! Will be returning soon!

I believe this is a new restaurant in an established venue....it was fairly obvious that it was a new venture!! The food was of a good standard and was tasty!! Portion size was good - unfortunately I felt my starter was not a cohesive dish and I did mention this when asked.....to his credit the Restaurant Manager (I presume) took my feedback and to my surprise took the starter off the bill at the end.....the feedback was not intended for this to happen at all but it was a lovely gesture!! The thing that impressed me most was a few days later, my better half looked at the menu online as we were telling friends about the food experience and Charlotte noticed that it seemed our feedback had been taken seriously as the starter had been tweaked and slightly changed on the menu!!Will definitely recommend to others and be back as the main and dessert were very good indeed....the through flow of waiters and waitresses through this new restaurant’s other parts of the establishment (other eating rooms throughout) may need to be looked at thoughOn a final note - Pineapple Tarte Tatin was definitely worth the wait (we were told it was made fresh and therefore takes time!!) - it was simply divine!!!! another example of very good service

This place is like no other! Where do I start? First all our table was booked for 8:30 and girls being girls we were running very late.... I rang the Muse restaurant at 9:27 apologising and asking if there was any possibility we could turn up at that time, the lady asked the chefs who gratefully stayed open for us!!!! Absolutely fantastic service and so accommodating. The food was amazing so much flavour the pork belly was lovely so much crackling and the chips too. My friends chicken was lovely, the sauce was delicious. Overall the service and food were amazing and the staff went above and beyond to accommodate us. I highly recommend eating at The Muse. I will be back!!! Thank you :)

We have eaten here many times before but after visiting for our wedding anniversary this year after the renovations, we were even more satisfied! The food was absolutely amazing, the best meal we have had there and anywhere else in the area! The new bar in the centre looks lovely with it bringing a touch of old style class. Absolutely recommend to me and time again and will be eating here time and time again ourselves!

Finally somewhere decent to eat in Gorleston! No disrespect to the other eateries in the area but my husband and I have not had our taste buds so tantalised for a long time! We went on a Friday night. Admittedly it was lacking an atmosphere with minimal people dining in it but instead we got a window table and had a lovely beach view. Service was good but the key attraction was the food. Every course was presented as if we were in a Michelin starred restaurant and the flavours of each course was well thought out and absolutely delicious.I'm sure if these standards are maintained, then we may need to book weeks in advance for a table!! We've planned our next meal there already!

This is what Yarmouth and Gorleston needed! At last someone producing food to rival Pamelas. Proper gourmet high class cuisine..leave the.kids with.the babysitter.. Scallops starters stunning. Main course of Bass fish delicious but also filling. Service aimed at a high standard. We've been coming here even before they built the stunning sea front extension but mostly for the high quality Gastro pub type food in the bar. It never was a destination restaurant till now!We stayed here one night in the hotel when we moved from London seven years ago. We had breakfast where Muse is now. Wow what a transformation in this eaterie and also the bar the last 5 years.Now at last The Cliff has the restaurant it always deserved. Go!

The decor in muse is amazing, food is superb and service is brilliant. Can’t speak highly enough of this place, highly recommended without doubt!!

Enjoyed a super meal 4 friends. Excellent service, wide ranging menu and able to feed my GF friend! Loved the cocktails, recommend the Porn Star Martinis as well as good range of wines. Super food - back very , very soon!

Fabulous fabulous fabulous!! Food is to die for. The restaurant is beautiful inside and has been furnished to a very high standard. We were a little nervous going to start with as we are a very large family with 7 children ranging from 8 - 16 years old. We need not have worried as the staff were amazing and friendly and treated the children just as they did the adults. Cannot recommend this place enough. We will all certainly be going back very very soon

We visited last weekend, the decor is beautiful, the atmosphere was great. As a vegan it’s difficult to find a restaurant that offers 3 vegan friendly courses! I enjoyed the ‘Rainbow Carrot & Watercress Salad’ to start, followed by the ‘Parsnip & Chickpea Curry’ which were beautifully presented and cooked! I was certainly not disappointed with dessert I had the ‘Coconut and Chocolate Cheesecake with ice cream’ which was amazing and vegan friendly!!! I honestly couldn’t fault a thing! The service, cocktails and food were outstanding!
