Leafy Oak Farm Hertford Road Hertford Road, England
This place obviously doesn’t read the reviews on here as they don’t seem bothered about rectifying some of the issues that have been raised on many occasions. Visited today and it was an awful experience. Ordered 2 coffees and cakes and it took almost 25 minutes. Young staff didn’t have a clue who the orders were for and just wandering around asking at every table. This happened about 4 times whilst we were there. Tables were piled high with dirty plates for long periods of time. Staff didn’t seem to have the common sense to clear tables after dropping orders off. We went to the nursery to shop for plants and on our way back to the car the same tables were still full of dirty plates.
Wish we’d read the reviews before ordering!
Disgusting!!!!
Unfortunately Peking Palace was closed today being a Sunday and Golden city had been leaflet dropping our area recently clearly they need business because the locals obviously avoid this place.
Lemon chicken tough dry and disgusting
crab meat and sweetcorn soup disgusting no other words
Chicken and sweetcorn soup, Runny with massive chunks of chicken totally disgusting
Sweet-and-sour pork balls look like they’ve been cooked three times before they were cooked for us hard in edible
Chicken chow mein, tasteless and also disgusting
Prawn crackers well done something you can eat
The worst Chinese I’ve ever eaten
I kept trying to press no stars, but it wouldn’t allow me
I visited a few weeks back and was very impressed with the recent refurbishment. Returned on Friday with some friends I had recommended the place to. Wish I had not bothered!
We were greeted at the bar by a heavily intoxicated customer who appeared to be heckling several other customers. He proceeded to walk around the bar pointing to my group and saying “They are all queers”. Firstly, we most certainly are not and secondly, I am sure that some people would find that sort of language, highly offensive.
The inebriated customer also informed the manager that we were “queers” also. The manager awkwardly looked and walked off. The bar was so busy, we were unable to find a seat.
If I am honest, I would have preferred that the drunkard had been dealt with in a slightly better way as he appeared to be putting several customers off and I know we were not the only ones who would have rather he leave. Given the pub’s sleek and modern refurbishment, I am surprised it attracts customers of that sort of demographic and I will certainly re-consider visiting again if the pub are unwilling or unable to deal with inappropriateness from customers. My friends were disappointed with my recommendation and at being humiliated by an out of control drunk. They won't be returning.
We popped in on a rainy weekday lunchtime, and were greeted by a friendly server. We ordered our sandwiches and they arrived promptly, tasted nice too.
Still good! The new "Romana" thin crust pizza's are truly excellent, tasty, and well stacked. I really enjoyed the "Spicy Guiseppe"! Good service, nice ambience. Looking forward to sitting under the tarapaulin cover outside in the courtyard, on a warmer day perhaps!

Incredible service from lovely staff. I placed an online order, but sadly, one of the items I ordered had sold out. The gentleman at the store called me and exchanged it with
something which was actually worth slightly more, they even through in a free drink! I was having a really bad day and this really cheered me up. Why the ratings for this place are anything other than 4 and 5 stars I don't know. This isn't a big chain restaurant. It's authentic, fresh, real food served by real people. A* Service with a smile (something that is rare these days)
Dominos pizza brand in my opinion the best one in the world.
BUT if you want to experience third world country street food experience order a food from this branch.
I ordered 5 times and 3 of them was terrible.
HOBESTLY STAY AWAY
We arrived at the centre which is so lovely. Looked around and then decided to have something to eat before we looked around for what we wanted to purchase . It was rather busy . We ordered our food and waited at least half an hour to then recieve cold chips along with our order . We did get these changed, but the customer service was much to be desired. Our coffee was also cold . I would visit the garden centre again , but unfortunately not eat .
What amazing staff, I became unwell and needed water as I had a serious coughing episode and couldn’t breathe. The staff immediately came to help me and stayed until I was ok . Thank you so much to the very kind staff
Pizza was absolutely disgusting, and I accidentally ordered tomato base instead of bbq, so that's my fault. But the tomato base tasted awful, and off, cheese smelled funny and I'm sure the pizza dough wasn't cooked long enough, only had 2 slices of the 8 in a medium pizza, no point calling as they never do anything, may go head office about the standards of this food!
I kid you not, I could of gagged
