The experience was utterly appalling. Drink totally flat, the chips hot but massively over seasoned. The chicken was something else, hard, overcooked and incredibly wet with oil! Here the majority of reviews are poor or worse, I made the company aware and their response was to commit to putting things right, but reviews elsewhere have been responded to and management keep promising improvements but they clearly aren’t working if indeed anything is really being done

I love huckleberry chicken this the best chicken shop in the world. The staff are very nice and the food was extremely tasty. I recommended it to everyone i knew. It was scrumptious.

Excellent bar, the staff are very nice and great place to hang out with friends for football or a night out. Look forward going every weekend

Have been served the word portion of chips ever, cold, half portion and not even salted. Will not be returning in the future.

Terrible. Had omelette with cheese and onion it was literally dripping in oil, the salad that it was served with was also drenched in cooking oil. Unable to eat more than 2 mouthfuls as you could taste the cooking oil. Took it back, which didn’t seem to go down too well. Would only refund one as my husband had eaten half of his before he could eat no more. Not the best experience and probably overpriced for what it is also.

Called up 4 a delivery just a medium peperoni pizza and a coca cola 0,at lunch time ,i ve asked how much the total will be,24.99,,is this 4 real?24,99 ?i wonder how such a ridicoulos ammount can be asked,is a day light robbery ,so who ever pay this staggering overcharged ammount must be not aware that is just a pizza and a drink, and there is way better quality and better price just round the corner,google it !,as i dont want u to think im supporting other restaurant in the area ,is a ...disgusting experience to know this company charge this kind of money!if anyone else feel the same put a review as mine,,this company should not be allow to rip hard working people off!

On a Friday I often treat myself to a bacon and sausage roll. There are a number of options in Hertford and occasionally I got to Greggs. However, on the last three times I have been there, when I'm asked if I'd like any sauce, I always ask for Brown sauce as I don't particularly like tomato sauces. I take it back to the office to eat, and it's then I notice they've used tomato sauce. In the scheme of things it's not a big issue, however it is frustrating that despite asking the question, they don't appear to actually listen to the answer, and robotically reach for the tomato sauce. I will of course check in future, but it would be nice if the person asking the question could actually try to remember the answer for the 30 seconds it takes to prepare!

Every visit they never have any content for breakfast rolls/banquets. Clearly only cook the minimum to try and save on cost but then even at 9.30 am have no sausages ready and expect people to wait 10 mins. Guess most people buy an alternative but its bad practice in my opinion.

Busy as hell but so worth it...a must if you live in Ware

Baby changing rooms locked, nobody about with key. End up changing newborn on table! It would be better to use petrol station instead

Not sure if the basic grasp of English, or the fact that most of the Hertford staff are survivors of traumatic brain injury. But I will not be ever ordering from this dump again.

Disgusting! Wrong order! Cold! Wouldn’t give it to my dog! Had to be put straight in the bin food luke warm and ropey meat absolutely smothered in chilli sauce when requested sauce be served separately!

I visited this store a few weeks ago. My son ordered a hot chocolate which usually comes with marshmallows. When it arrived without marshmallow I asked the man working there where the marshmallows were, he said hot chocolate never comes with marshmallows. I said that’s strange as whenever I’ve ordered it before it has always had marshmallows. Once my son finished his hot chocolate the man come over with the marshmallows…. As a kind gesture. It was really strange behaviour. It’s also very dirty in there, especially the area of the back with a bit of carpet also long wait for drinks. A new member of staff started recently (around September 2024) he seems friendly and pleasant.

Asked for footlong with Tuna and manager prepared me a chicken footlong. When I noticed after leaving the shop went back into to say you made me wrong sandwich and the manager started to become rude and agitated when I said I asked for tuna and he denied I said tuna even though I was with my manger. Subway manager was very rude and didn’t ask if I wanted a different sandwich so he just gave me a full refund Maybe if he had a haircut so his hair don’t cover his ears he would probably hear what customers actually ask for!!!
