Mcdonald's Restaurants in East Hertfordshire

Have been served the word portion of chips ever, cold, half portion and not even salted. Will not be returning in the future.

What an absolute shambles! Long queue, staff outside chatting rather than taking the orders to keep the queue down. Then another staff member who was taking payments comes out and locks himself out. Finally get luke warm amd dry burgers with drinks missing. Young girl seems put out that we ask for our order and it is written on the order but they just don't care amd can't be bothered to actually read and check what is in front of them. No wonder the queues go back onto roundabout, mcdonalds need to sort that site out and fast, unlike their service there!

Queued in the drive through for over half an hour. Girl taking the order didn’t have a clue what she was doing or didn’t care - got home to realise they had forgotten one of our chips and gave us the wrong sauce. We should have checked then and there but with a screaming baby in the back you’d think a simple 2 meal order would be easy…

Don't bargain on getting here after 11.45 as the queue stretches down the A414 along from a junction, and it's really dangerous, with cars trying to get passed, and thru the gap between those in line for drive-thru and those stopping for fuel, or trying to get onto the A10. Shame it was built there as it's so dangerous.

Rude staff. Queued for 20 mins only to be told to park up. They gave my food to the customer in front and then tried to give it to me🤢. No thank u ! I will never go there again the service is appalling.

Open the bloody restaurant for walk ins. Traffic absolute nightmare and dangerous! Whens it going to reopen? All it'd used for is staff currently.

Do not bother with this Mac Donald’s. You’ll be lucky if u even get in. No parking area. It’s utter chaos if you do get into the queue. It’s on a roundabout that serves the A10 duel carriage way with cars wizzing round at high speed . It’s also situated in the same area as a petrol station with in store supermarket all using the same access and exit! You are dicing with death if you dare go there

Visited this drive through this afternoon. When we got home, we realised they hadn’t given us our full order. Very dissatisfied.

Last Friday night I decided to treat the kiddies to a nice macca’s as they were allowed two packs of cigs today but as we got there there was a crazy Karen desperate for a happy meal and blocking traffic and I was a bit upset by this so ploughed my fiat 500 straight through the them all and headed to the window to order, after my order went through I asked for a ballon for the kiddies to play with but they refused after I had previously battered the balloon lady so I had no choice but to go inside and throw fists.

We are regular customers of this McDonalds - Sunday night my partner travels there with our little boy - arrives at 9:40pm (drive through advertised as open until 10pm) but they’ve decided to close early! waste of time, petrol and very disappointed (& hungry) how can you just close early??! out of order. Not happy.

New for this McDonalds is a man with a sign preventing you from being able to drive into it, since they re-opened I've tried vainly 10 times, only to be stopped from driving in. Of course I can go back round the roundabout to find the people behind me have been let in and I'm still being told I can't drive in...but Harlow McDonalds is a 15 minutes down the road. So my advice to anyone experiencing the same is...drive to Harlow don't even bother to make an attempt here. I wont be trying again...if a business makes it hard for you you to do business with them, that tells me they care too little to deserve my hard earned money. Join the boycott and teach them a lesson!

Brilliant service, very good team, very good Managers. I have read the bad reviews and I have to say they are people, most of them teenagers. It’s not a 5 star restaurant, but they doing their best. They are making the food for us, they are making the food INSTEAD of you!! So I’m sure you should be nice with them, and if they make a mistake then just ask them POLITE and they will help you out. Again, they are humans not robots!! It’s a stressful place, it’s a hard work. If you wanna try I’m sure they can give you few hours shift... Well done Rush green!

My food was nice and warm and delivered very quickly, I got my fries and tried one I tell you it was the nicest fry I’ve ever tried, the traffic wasn’t to bad a little wait but what else would you expect at such a big food place, my 5 year old is over the moon with her happy meal toy. Definitely recommend!

Order egg and sausage. Got egg and bacon. By which time I'd gone on my way so too much hassle to have it changed.

Went to used to Drive Thru and ordered 3 items, during a pretty quiet time before closing. The chuckling fool at the tills told me to e to wait in one of the parking bays. I asked if he was sure as I had only ordered 3 items, he said 'yes'. It was as though the team were poking fun at me and seeing how long they could keep me waiting for my 3 items. Others came and went. When one another customer after me was served with 3 bags of food in the parking bay next to me, I decided it was time to ask for my money back and go...they even dragged their heels with this request. This is a horribly located McDonalds (an accident is certain to happen as people queue on the roundabout) with equally as awful people working there. I will NEVER used them again. Avoid at all costs and keep your sanity.

Typical McDonald’s restaurant. Food is reasonable but the thing that let’s this place down is the traffic to get in. I know they share an entrance with the BP garage but surely there is something more they can do to ease the traffic?

This has got to be the worst located McDonald’s I have ever been to it’s located just off the A10 on a very busy roundabout next door to a BP garage. The queues are so long going into McDonald’s vehicles queue on the roundabout making this very hazardous for other vehicles even to the point where vehicles can’t gain access onto the roundabout due to the queues going into McDonald’s. One of the issues is there is not enough parking spaces so if you want to go to McDonald’s you need to do the drive-through this in turn is the cause of traffic chaos onto the roundabout. Also went Sunday morning for breakfast couldn’t park so queued up for over 15 minutes for drive through only to be told when I eventually ordered they had just stopped serving breakfast!!!!!!! You always have to check your food at the window as nearly all the time your order is incorrect - food missing, order wrong, dips missing. If you drive off from the window without checking you can’t park again to sort the issue out. Totally disinterested staff.

It has been more than a year since we were at this Mc D's. The parking was easy and the overall cleanliness of the establishment was very good. The welcome was warm and friendly and the taste of their coffee was up to the usual standard.

Am pretty sure this was a leftover. Was delivered too quick and the bun fell apart. Not good but didn't kill me

As a family, we get a McDonald's take away on average once every 4 - 5 weeks. There are 5 of us in the family and the order is more often than not, wrong. We've got fed up calling about it as the management clearly could not care less as they let it continue to happen. I ordered a chicken legend with bbq sauce, we got spicy mayonnaise; one of the milkshakes should of been vanilla, we got strawberry. We had to wait in a car bay for the order. When it came, i asked if that was everything and was told oh you haven't got the Apple pie and neither did I have the sweet chilli dip Mac's have you pay for. If I had not asked then I am sure I wouldn't have got them like most previous orders. I am surprised head office do not do something about this. It would be nice to have 100% confidence when ordering a MacDonalds locally.

Surprised that getting into drive through was so easy but I think it’s because I went a little earlier as I know that the traffic backs onto the roundabout at most lunchtimes.Food was as expected but it was a shame that my Diet Coke tasted off

This is on top of the A10 roundabout next to the BP petrol station. It has very limited parking and because you drive through the car park to get to the drive through, you end up waiting with the drive through in order to get parked. It is just total chaos. It is just too busy and not worth the wait.As to the food. It is McDonalds. It's the same where ever you go.

I worked for McDonalds for 11 years many years ago, and I have to say not only has the standard of service gone, but at this restaurant so has the quality. They just don’t seem to care about appearance of the food and there’s either too but condiments or not enough on the burgers.

A normal McDonald’s normal food I always walk if I sucumb to eating macs . Staff are polite enough . The main problem with this restaurant is the traffic chaos it causes on the main a10/a414 junction soon it’s going to result in a fatality or serious injury to some one Mac Donald’s get a grip and move your restaurant

Driving in and parking was easy. However after drinking our coffee, joining the queue to drive out meant that I had to join the line that was ordering drinks and food.

Not a huge fan of mcd but this restaurant was very food. . . Very clean, well decorated, good staff, free wifi, very kid friendly.. . Much better than mcd in japan

Entré en tu McDonald's hoy a recoger el almuerzo para mi pareja y dos niños con hambre. Llegué a casa para darse cuenta de que no colocar uno de mis comidas en la bolsa que pedí, era una caja de 6 nuggets, sin embargo, pensé que me dejaron que pase como ya tenía una caja de 20 para dividir entre la familia. Mi hijo entonces se acercó a mí para decirme que el Nugget sabía raro. Después de probar uno mi propia, estaban rancios y frío. Se notaba que estaban debajo, a la izquierda una explotación caliente por un tiempo muy largo. Le dije a comer sus patatas fritas en vez mientras yo teléfono McDonald's para ellos estar fría y blanda.

Vine aquí para almorzar con dos colegas, el aparcamiento no era genial, pero me las arreglé para encontrar un espacio, dentro estaba lleno, falta de mesas y algunos vacío estaban sucias, por decir lo menos.

Order was correct. The flurry gave me brain freeze. Smoothies were rather runny. The elderly guy collecting the rubbish is nice and friendly. Too many people not doing enough- almost tripping over each other. Sort the toilets out disgusting

Nice chips and strawberry milkshake also there toys they put in there happy meals are quite fun to play with but sometimes boring

He visitado este restaurante varias veces y recibió el orden equivocado en el viaje. Es imposible volver a quejarse como las colas generadas en este sitio que en la rotonda causa para ilegalmente en el tramo urbano parada bloqueando el acceso a la rotonda. He dejado de ir porque de las colas y la oportunidad de recibir un billete para hacer cola en un tramo urbano

This is our nearest mcdonalds and busy most times. Service good but entrance to restaurant is off a very busy roundabout and if queuing too much we avoid as one day there will be a serious accident there as the queue can progress on the roundabout.

This is 100% by far the worse mc Donald's I have ever been to, the orders are always wrong or they have just missed out things completely, the food is dry and clearly not freshly made as if it's been sitting there in the box all day! Yuck! The location is shocking, stressful and dangerous, during busy times traffic is queuing out onto the roundabout! I have been here a few times now and it's still yucky food and service each and every time! This is a place in which I won't be returning to!

Took the family to see Kung Fu Panda 3. Good prompt service comfortable viewing experience and no issues. Overall good cinema with plenty of screens

Disgraceful 'food'. Even when asked to check, the order was wrong. Staff could not be less bothered.

Basic food. Service ok as far as fast food places are concerned. Live near so visit occasionally. Quieter in the late evening.

Now McDonalds is cheap and convenient but they still has to be some care and attention to cooking and the seatigns area.Burger stuck to bottom of box making it only half edible - chips cold - generally poor care and attentionhowever dose look very clean & tidy from the outside

This McDonalds only gets 1 because of the poor location and layout of the building. I wanted to get out of the car and sit in the restaurant, but all the 20 car parking spaces had been taken and I had to wait in the drive through queue to get out. The queue to get into the restaurant went back onto the roundabout, which is the A414/A10 junction and is therefore a traffic hazard. I can't comment about the staff, I had little interaction with them, and I cannot comment on something that I did not have. McDonalds should consider re-siting their restaurant in a more user friendly location with the opportunity of a larger car park.

Twice I have been through the drive through asking simply for a double bacon and egg McMuffin meal and after arriving at work find out that I have been given a double sausage and egg McMuffin meal. I don't like the sausage McMuffin so give them away at work. The receipt is for a bacon and egg McMuffin meal. Again today, for the third time, I was given the wrong order. How difficult is it to actually give the correct order? Would I recommend this McDonalds? No as they do not give the food ordered.

Mcdonalds management please sort out the temperature in your restaurant. 3rd visit to this location and each time it us unbearably hot in there. Air con please

What a shocking location for a McDonald's when I visited the traffic was queuing out onto the roundabout which is very busy and blind as you go around it towards the restaurant . I was nearly hit whilst in the Que of traffic.Never again will I visit this branch as its FAR to dangerous !!!!

You know what you want and what to expect before you go, order, pay, collect, Eat.Has a drive through.w/cAccess to free wi fi.Opens early for breakfast.Collection card for coffee, so buy 6 get next free.Always clean and tidy tables, unless some other customers have let their kids chuck food on floor and seats and decided not to clean up themselves.Car park can get full.And at busy times traffic queues back on to the A10 roundabout.Located next to BP garage and M&S food shop, with cash machine.You can drive through to get kids Happy Meals and then pop in M&S for adult food.

Only go here on rare occasions - I don't like Mcdonalds in the first place!!!! so cant recommend itis there any British meat?

Been here a few times. Never that impressed.On recent visit:- Nuggets were greasy and the batter just tasted of dirty cooking oil- Milkshake wasn't mixed well at all - it was obvious. They did replace it when I asked (didn't notice themselves) - but no apology or even polite acknowledgement given- Miserable server - I attempted a little conversation but was just stared at and ignore- the staff seemed to be smirking amongst themselves at something whilst serving - quite off puttingPlus:- there is often a massive queue backing up the roundabout to get in- theres not enough parking - and it can be tricky parking there

This is by far the worst Mcdonalds restaurant I've ever been to. Unfortunately it is our local restaurant so we keep giving it chances when we find ourselves pressed for time. We end up regretting it nearly every time. Here is a list of things they think is Ok. Large fries are actually just a small portion in a large box, the same goes for coffee. They have given wrong items numerous times but what we get every time without fail are very poorly made burgers with hardly any fillings. I wouldn't even bother buying a promotional burger there it'll just taste like a normal quarter pounder that has hardly any sauce, dry. Here is also a list of burgers they have ruined for me and that taste completely different elsewhere. The MBurger, the Mexican, the Spanish, the 1955 and the cheddar deluxe. I'm sure there are more I have lost count. This Restaurant are guilty of scrimping on the vital ingredients that make these burgers unique hence ruining them.
