I had a great experience here. The staff was friendly, and helpful the ingredients were fresh, and the restaurant was clean. My sandwich was made perfectly to order. The staff explained the offers the restaurant had on at the time, and rold me I could get a discount if I used my points on my subway rewards app.Highly recommend!

Great Subway branch. I used them a couple of times a month for lunch and get it delivered via Just Eat. I love how well prepared and packaged the food is and the accuracy or order is always spot on. Really cannot find any fault with this restaurant and always good when I visit in person

Attended this store at lunch during my study leave earlier today. Only one major complaint. Without me thinking critically, this likely wouldn’t make a difference but I noticed a couple things. In every subway store I have ever been in, I have always had 3 pieces of cheese put into my sub. This time however, I was given two. It didn’t make much of a difference just tasted less cheesy. Like I said, without critically thinking it wouldn’t make a difference but I sort of have to if I’m giving an honest review.

I come here very often for the Nachos, staff are always so lovely and whenever i order online always to it to my specification and are always early if not on time.

It was OK. But I think that you can get better value from a good old Cafe - they won't have the range or the sauces but still better value in my opinion. The staff were nice.

Placed an online order with JustEats, told it would be delivered within the hour, received my order within half an hour, packaged really well In a cardboard box with dips, super tasty side order of cheesy meatballs and I received a complimentary packet of crisps. The delivery driver was very polite and friendly too. First time I’ve ordered subway and it won’t be my last. Very pleased with the whole experience.

I'm calling in to the Subway at The Wash in Hertford most days for my lunch and am always served efficiently and with a smile by the whole team. They actually talk to me, make me feel welcome and treat me like an individual whose experience matters to them. Good work!

They have adapted well to covid even with a que going out of the door. Served quickly with all the proper safety measures put into place.

Terrible portion sizes, and if you dare to question them, be prepared for a mouth full of nonsense from the staff. Trying to explain that it’s the correct portion size....what a joke, I’ve visited Subway franchises up and down the country and never once refused to pay for a sub due to serving size....that’s what I have done today. You’d think that the staff here are on some sort of bonus scheme to con people out of a decent size sub...DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY HERE!!!

Went into Subway expecting to pick up some lunch but they had taken a lot of online orders and focussed on these over the few customers that were waiting in the shop. They don’t have additional staff to deal with the on line orders but I don’t see why I should wait when I can get a sandwich off the shelf elsewhere - Waited 10 mins and after the next order jumps in front of me I decided to leave. Perhaps they should decide what business model they want to pursue (shop or online) and focus on that!

I have probably been to over a hundred different Subway restaurants in the last two decades. This one stands out for knowing how to properly make a Veggy Party with all the salads and I would rank it in the top 10 percent as Subways go. Attention to detail, good ingredient stocking levels, as well as a friendly attitude are the winning attributes here. The place is tiny and there is barely any sitting area, but one of Hertford's nicest parks is right across.

Always polite and friendly staff, can't fault the service and they are open very late on Friday and Saturday.

Never ever ever visit this store close to closing time or late at night. Burnt bread, dry dry fillings. Please learn from my drunken mistake. Never again.

Fresh food and the place looks nice and clean... Staff are polite.. It's a shame there is no parking outside but you can get parked a little further up... Rolls and food look fresh and I'm always a fan of the Tea they use in Subway's compared to some other establishments... Oh yes... you can't beat a Subway's cookie...especially choc chip....

What's there to say about a Subway really? If you have never been there then it's a fast food chain which sells Sandwiches in "Submarine style" rolls. They are quite tasty and of the quality that you would expect from a major fast food chain. With a selection of meat and vegetarian options, every sub is prepared to order and customized to the diner's preference. If you have been to Subway before, then all I need to say is that this place is like every other subway everywhere else although there is not much seating as the place is only small. Other than that I need say no more.

Good quality subway store, only downside is that there isn't much room to sit and eat. That being said, on a nice day you can go sit in the nearby Castle gardens.

It's a really good subway. They never complain when I'm being fussy and ask for very specific amounts of salad and sauce in my sandwich and they always get it spot on. Staff are friendly and polite.

Manager and stuff were very helpful and kind regarding a big order that was managed in said time with only one discrepancy ( two orders were mixed ) but in general great delivery of service .

Young guy was helpful, and the sub roll was really nice and fresh with good fillings. It's a small shop but some seating and good variety of snacks and drinks.
