Costa Coffee in East Hertfordshire

I visited this store a few weeks ago. My son ordered a hot chocolate which usually comes with marshmallows. When it arrived without marshmallow I asked the man working there where the marshmallows were, he said hot chocolate never comes with marshmallows. I said that’s strange as whenever I’ve ordered it before it has always had marshmallows. Once my son finished his hot chocolate the man come over with the marshmallows…. As a kind gesture. It was really strange behaviour. It’s also very dirty in there, especially the area of the back with a bit of carpet also long wait for drinks. A new member of staff started recently (around September 2024) he seems friendly and pleasant.

Waited approximately 20min to be served. Ordered coffee & food £9.05 and the staff looked surprisingly l gave cash. They informed me that they had no change of 95p and sent the manager out to find some money. Manager returned after 10mins with no change. So after nearly 1/2hour l asked for my money back. Back to Costa Broxbourne which is 10 out of 10!
