Love the crazy chicken and wings and tasty delicious fried chicken better than expected but I just don't like to eat in and do takeaway food but best in my opinion but some just don't like the shop and can't bother to try. But need to work on the appearance of the inside shop which might be clean but inside shop is horrible looking but fried chicken matters and nothing else don't care about but a bit of the advice is to work on the environment inside and outside please
Love this cafe. It’s very convenient for me to visit after school drop offs.
Very helpful friendly staff.
Sometimes they have special offers for scones so I get coffee and scone for £4 which is great. If there is no special offer then I just get a coffee.
Good selection of pastries but not a good selection of cakes.
The hot food is all prepacked so I would never try it as it can never be good. I like going to cafes that prepare fresh food (affordable) and nice breakfast which you can’t really find in this Waitrose cafe unfortunately.
But I love this cafe for my coffee stops.
I had a chicken curry and my wife had pork chop suey, both terrible. I couldn't eat the chicken as it definitely wasn't chicken, more like a reformed jelly version. I know that there's a trend to not use 100% chicken but really, this was as bad as I've had. My wife said the pork wasn't much better in her chop suey, very fatty. We had chicken balls too which were definitely better quality meat but a little doughy but ok after 2 mins in the air fryer. The sauces were also ok. I wish I'd taken pics of the chicken but I had already binned it. Never again.
Terrible service extremely slow, food was not good, had the breakfast bun which was cold and the bacon was hard and dry....... £161 for rubbish service and bad food ......we wouldnt go back to eat there and it is very over priced
It is so lovely to see a lovely bakery with items all freshly baked on the premises. The pastry on all their range is amazing, tasty and just the right side of crisp. The fillings are plentiful and delicious. The cake range is eye popping with beautifully balanced ingredients. Lovely rolls and fresh bread. Staff are welcoming and polite and on dry days you can sit outside and watch the day go by.
Now, I will talk about the coffee. This unfortunately was a great disappointment. Despite two of us asking for stronger versions, it was to be frank like dishwater. I don't enjoy saying this but I was too embarrassed to say anything at the time.
Do not let this distract you from the bakery itself. It is treat to have it on the precinct.
Disappointed in food! Pots of dip was less than half filled, hardly any cheese on the chips.
Chicken wrap was tasty but for a large was hardly any chicken will not be ordering again.
