It is so lovely to see a lovely bakery with items all freshly baked on the premises. The pastry on all their range is amazing, tasty and just the right side of crisp. The fillings are plentiful and delicious. The cake range is eye popping with beautifully balanced ingredients. Lovely rolls and fresh bread. Staff are welcoming and polite and on dry days you can sit outside and watch the day go by. Now, I will talk about the coffee. This unfortunately was a great disappointment. Despite two of us asking for stronger versions, it was to be frank like dishwater. I don't enjoy saying this but I was too embarrassed to say anything at the time. Do not let this distract you from the bakery itself. It is treat to have it on the precinct.

I cant understand what is wrong with the staff at Prudens so Rude un-helpful and always seem stressed. I ordered a lunch over the phone and asked what crisps they had she said im busy and to many to mention! when i picked up my sandwich they had just 4 bags to choose from. Also told me in future when ordering can i allow more time. I was passing hemel hempstead when i placed my order. and anyway next time ill just go in and order as it was not ready anyway!! Used to be a great bakers but it seems like the management have taken there eye of te ball and dont see what is going on on the floor

I used this bakery for the first time because my local dosnt take card , so gave Pruden’s a go . At first I was very impressed with its clean and modern bakery and everything looked appetising , bought some crunchy rolls some soft rolls a finger doughnut and two other cakes . As soon as I got home and saw my bread I was disappointed , the soft rolls were pre packed like in the supermarket , well I would have gone to tesco not the bakery if that was acceptable and well the worst was the crunchy rolls which were anything but , they were stale the state your rolls become the next day , rubbery and went straight in the bin . My finger doughnut was also not fresh , the other two cakes I did not taste but the family said they were good . Never ever again and do not recommend , at least not for bread anyway .

We popped in whilst on a journey in our EV and needed to use the nearby chargers. The bar staff were helpful and chatty, the manager introduced himself to us as he hadn't seen us before and insisted we have some food on the house! When the food came, it was amazing! Due to sensitive stomach issues, I couldn't eat much of the goat curry or jerk chicken but what I did try was lovely and my wife really enjoyed them. If we're in the area again, we have said we're definitely going back.

This restaurant is perfect for after a ski lesson. The food and the environment was amazing. Despite there being no Rekorderlig for my husband, I enjoyed a rhubarb gin and lemonade. The staff were very friendly and helpful especially Anisa who we were served by. There were other staff members standing around avoiding work, trying to make jokes with staff on the tills whilst they were serving customers. However it was a brilliant saturday afternoon!

Came here for drinks on a Saturday night, great live music and a real mixed crowd. Appeals to all generations

Went there for a meal and it was adequate but not as good as our previous visits

A quality and fun place, a place that fits the British pub culture. Prices are reasonable. It's a place I enjoy.
