Lovely pub, in a great location, with good food offer. Charming staff who went to the trouble of returning a much love scarf to me by post to Brighton.
So... I've been coming here on and off for a few months now. I work close by and sometimes stop in with my coworkers for a well deserved drink. Each time we have visited, we have been greeted by Enya. I have never received such brilliant customer service. She is the sole reason we keep coming back. Although the place is well-maintained, clean, cost-effective and well-managed, this can be found in lots of places. What's hard to find is amazing customer service. Enya provides this. She makes me and my coworkers feel very welcome on every visit and has even remembered our drink orders since our first visit! In being in management myself, I understand how important reviews are to commend great service. This woman needs a payrise!! Absolutely fantastic, never felt more at home and looked after. I really hope this is shared with her because she definitely deserved the upmost recognition. Keep smashing it Enya, and we will most DEFINITELY be back! Thank you for looking after us :)
Brilliant food. Had many times (at least 20) great range - polite staff -excellent drink options .beautiful decor and building . All in all a fantastic dining experience for friends and families , or just anyone who wants to try Italian food (or indeed indulge again!!!)
Has a fantastic lunch at The Trooper, first visit but will definitely be back. The crispy Korean-style cauliflower bites on the light snacks menu are ridiculously good. Absolutely amazing. The venison with beetroot and mushrooms, the nicest I’ve ever had and the desserts were incredible. Rice pudding with a lightly brûléed top, blood orange sorbet, Cointreau and orange segments was stupidly good.
We’ve eaten at the Hand & Flowers in Marlow a few times and The Trooper was easily on a par and about 40% cheaper.
We will be back soon, highly recommended!
One of the worst food I have ever tasted if not the worst. I tried their chicken and cheese quesadilla, chicken was very hard and had a very bad smell to it. Highly disappointed
Edible cheap food, reasonable priced drinks, cannot really complain. My £4.99 breakfast was quite small compared to the bigger breakfast I normally enjoy.
My wife had refillable tea and toast, £2.49.
Not bad and in a lovely building with a gorgeous fireplace

Nice. Went in Saturday night. Staff were trying their best to accommodate despite some people becoming unpleasant. Food came at right time, was decent quality and good value for money
Thank you Station Cafe for a devine dinner!
Had a fantastic meal once again, the individual dishes I had were a delight and cooked just perfect for my palet. Looking forward to next time. Delivery was punctual, well within the given time frame and no issues.
Highly Recommended! ☆☆☆☆☆
I was very underwhelmed. The veggie breakfast had a quorn sausage that seemed to have been microwaved, the tomatoes had be whispered to by a grill and the hashbrowns were burnt on the outside and greasy and cold in the middle.
We waited 50 minutes for our food and it all came out at different times.
Three of ordered the same dish but they all came out differently.
Honestly, it really really wasn't worth the money.
I genuinely hate leaving bad reviews, but I wouldn't recommend this overpriced place to anyone.
There's much better places in Berko.
My first and last time, visiting this fish shop. Fish was dry as if it had sat on the hot plate all afternoon, dry and batter soggy. The burgers were covered in sauce, weren't even asked if we wanted sauce, and so much put in the burger that the bun, went soggy on the base, and my son wouldn't eat it. The chips were as dry as a bone, and didn't improve when i covered them in vinegar. My worst fish shop experience

We went to Shendish Manor for our staff Christmas party. It was so cold inside the building that we had to keep our coats on.
We complained to the staff who appeared unable to do anything about it. The food was average but the venue was very short staffed and overall it was a disappointing evening.
I would not recommend Shendish Manor for any group event or wedding. The management don’t seem to care or want constructive feedback.
I visited this cafe with a friend. We both wanted toast and coffee, but mid morning, they hadn’t had a bread delivery so we were out of luck. We asked if maybe they could walk about 2 minutes to the local shop to buy a loaf, but apparently that needed permission from the absent owner. We won’t bother to go there again, especially when there are other decent cafes in the Old High Street.
Waited an hour and a half for main meal. Pizza is supposed to be ‘fast food’ They were too busy doing takeaways which they were prioritising. Kids were starving! Won’t be going back anytime soon.
