Horrible roast dinner. The beef was two very small small, tough pieces of frying steak and the potatoes weren't roasted but had been (lightly) deep fried whole. Nothing on the plate had been roasted in an oven. And it was £16!
Brilliant food. Had many times (at least 20) great range - polite staff -excellent drink options .beautiful decor and building . All in all a fantastic dining experience for friends and families , or just anyone who wants to try Italian food (or indeed indulge again!!!)
Nice. Went in Saturday night. Staff were trying their best to accommodate despite some people becoming unpleasant. Food came at right time, was decent quality and good value for money
Very slow service and over pretentious food in tiny portions. We had to wait over an hour for food to be delivered and when it was it was the smallest amount of food you can imagine. Also the food was not up to the standard the menu thinks it is.
Thank you Station Cafe for a devine dinner!
Had a fantastic meal once again, the individual dishes I had were a delight and cooked just perfect for my palet. Looking forward to next time. Delivery was punctual, well within the given time frame and no issues.

Love this cafe. It’s very convenient for me to visit after school drop offs.
Very helpful friendly staff.
Sometimes they have special offers for scones so I get coffee and scone for £4 which is great. If there is no special offer then I just get a coffee.
Good selection of pastries but not a good selection of cakes.
The hot food is all prepacked so I would never try it as it can never be good. I like going to cafes that prepare fresh food (affordable) and nice breakfast which you can’t really find in this Waitrose cafe unfortunately.
But I love this cafe for my coffee stops.
Went for coffee with a friend today, was really good coffee which was served with a mini croissant each. Staff very friendly..
After having a walk around the town we went back later for late lunch and both had the ‘Jerusalem artichoke soup’ with sourdough toast, it was excellent!
My first and last time, visiting this fish shop. Fish was dry as if it had sat on the hot plate all afternoon, dry and batter soggy. The burgers were covered in sauce, weren't even asked if we wanted sauce, and so much put in the burger that the bun, went soggy on the base, and my son wouldn't eat it. The chips were as dry as a bone, and didn't improve when i covered them in vinegar. My worst fish shop experience

We went to Shendish Manor for our staff Christmas party. It was so cold inside the building that we had to keep our coats on.
We complained to the staff who appeared unable to do anything about it. The food was average but the venue was very short staffed and overall it was a disappointing evening.
I would not recommend Shendish Manor for any group event or wedding. The management don’t seem to care or want constructive feedback.
I had a chicken curry and my wife had pork chop suey, both terrible. I couldn't eat the chicken as it definitely wasn't chicken, more like a reformed jelly version. I know that there's a trend to not use 100% chicken but really, this was as bad as I've had. My wife said the pork wasn't much better in her chop suey, very fatty. We had chicken balls too which were definitely better quality meat but a little doughy but ok after 2 mins in the air fryer. The sauces were also ok. I wish I'd taken pics of the chicken but I had already binned it. Never again.
I visited this cafe with a friend. We both wanted toast and coffee, but mid morning, they hadn’t had a bread delivery so we were out of luck. We asked if maybe they could walk about 2 minutes to the local shop to buy a loaf, but apparently that needed permission from the absent owner. We won’t bother to go there again, especially when there are other decent cafes in the Old High Street.
