Prezzo in Dacorum

Brilliant food. Had many times (at least 20) great range - polite staff -excellent drink options .beautiful decor and building . All in all a fantastic dining experience for friends and families , or just anyone who wants to try Italian food (or indeed indulge again!!!)

Very noisy lunchtime meal. All three courses were good, maybe the tiramisu could have been better (but pretty sure the desserts are shipped in). Service was acceptable, a busy summer holiday period with kids etc - only 2 people on the floor serving. Hence, the service was "direct" with no real attempt to add value. All in all, a good experience.

Food is okay but the kids pizza wasn’t even the a pizza as it wasn’t a circle and was too hard to cut.Also the bread was burnt for the kids qorn burger. We ordered a tuna pizza which was way too overpriced and it wasn’t even fresh tuna. On the posters it said your kids will eat free for the summer holidays but when we went to pay, the waiter told us that it was only one kid for one adult. However the staff were really kind to the children and they enjoyed the kids sheets.

Came in today two staff working they did not want to deal with me because they didn’t want to go to the kitchen and check how long my order will be so I just cancelled it instead of waiting but it’s very unprofessional and very poor service to young ladies working there that don’t really care Absolutely ridiculous

Ordered a take away via Uber eats. Pasta arabiatta had zero flavour and they forgot the mozzarella that I paid an extra £3.50 for!! Garlic bread was a measly half a flat bread which cost £5.25!! Very disappointed!!!For such a big branded company your food is shocking. A Tesco frozen meal tastes better than you food.

I came to prezzo before the cinema on a lunchtime and it was so amazing! Maria the waitress was incredible at attending to us and made things quick and easy. the food was delicious and we didn’t finish it but we put it in boxes to take home. thank you maria! she deserved a raise! x

Staff were friendly but under resourced and stressed. Food was mediocre for the price - pepperoni pizza was soggy and the prawn Caesar Salad poor quality. First time at a Prezzos and won’t be going back again - will go to Nando’s or Five Guys before the cinema next time - suspect many of the reviews on here are false

This was my first time to Prezzo. I came with my Granddaughter for her Birthday dinner treat. Our waitress Kalina was very attentive. She asked us with we had a food allergy. I told her my Granddaughter was gluten intolerent. She showed my Granddaughter her choices. The restaurant was clean and lots of sanitizer.

Exactly the same delivery as when you eat in. Arrived quick. Pasta (king prawn) had a decent amount of prawns, the pasta was cooked spot on, clearly fresh ingredients. The pizza was tasty and the meat was good quality and a balanced amount of toppings. Sides are slightly over priced. £6 for basically a pitta sized garlic bread with cheese and £7 for 4 cheese triangles. Defo go back.

went for a quick dinner when passing by the city while on a vacation, had a nice pasta dish as a main and glass of wine to relax a bit; quiet enough to enjoy my stay; the staff was kind and well prepared (especially about the ingredients since i have a few food allergies)

We received a very warm welcome from the team at Prezzo Jarman Park. COVID restrictions were clearly displayed, and the tables were well spaced. The service from the team was excellent as was the food.

After a fraught satnav trip up from the South Coast delighted to collapse into a beautifully chilled restaurant. It was high 20's outside and humid.Opted for Penne Rusticana, with salad and Chicken with Spinach and chips.Both excellent.Desserts were two lovely Cheesecakes.Good service, good value.Hayling Seagoon

Yesterday I order pizza with my boyfriend and the pizza was really bad and my boyfriend had chicken burger and it came raw and dry. we are regular customers from prezzo Milton Keynes and we never had this problem. We would never order from hemel hempstead again xx

Went for a family meal out together on a rare night off from work and was very impressed with the service. We were greeted warmly at the door and shown to our table where we ordered online. Drinks were brought over in a timely fashion and covid safety was a clear priority with all members of the team seen to be cleaning. The food was excellent and I was really impressed with the christmas carbonara. I’m a sucker for Christmas food so I was very very happy. Overall we had a lovely experience and our server Rafaella was wonderful!

Not good at all, also why have a chicken burger on the menu, when you serve wafer thin chicken and charge £12.50, calozone is half the size what you would expect, understand we in though times but no need to be rude or serve crap foodDon’t bothers, never again!!Would have been better off at McD across the road, you get what you see and expect

Service was really good, the Covid Safety has really been thought through well with tables spaced quite far apart. The food was lovely and we didn't have to wait long at all. Well done to all staff doing a fantastic job in the current circumstances

Thank goodness the Eat out to help out has finished.Prezzo is back to its usual standard of food and staff.Visited during the scheme and the food was dire. Staff practically throwing the plates at you. Half portion size and inferior grade produce with luke warm poorly cooked food.Not just Prezzo but all the ones we visited were not their usual fare.Glad to say Prezzo is back to their pre scheme standard in Hemel Hempstead and we will continue to use it as our pre cinema lunch.

Staff were really friendly. They always are in this branch, I have eaten here a couple of times . There was a separate way in and out. The restaurant always looks nice and clean and modern. The food was very nice and all courses came quickly . Tables were a good space apart . Nice vibe and right next to the cinema.

Best restaurant I've been in so far during these COVID times, brilliantly tasty meal, very prompt service, and really friendly staff. It was Monday bank holiday too so even more impressed. Wanted to originally eat out at Zizzi's St Albans but it was absolutely packed, so they are clearly putting profit over health and safety and will lose my business for good because of that. No issues at all with this meal, food was good, it was busy but everyone spread out properly, App worked fine and staff checked in on us to make sure all was okay around 3-4 times. The only thing I would recommend is for you to clearly sign-posting the entrance and exits as one or two people missed that.

Finally an opportunity to do something fun under “the new normal” conditions. A trip to see ‘Inception 10th Anniversary.’We ate beforehand @ Prezzo which is always good. Ume was our charming waitress working under quite strange government restrictions, but with a lovely smile behind her . Great food all served very promptly. Let’s hope we can all get back to the OLD normal soon.

Decided to book a table just in case and glad we did was busy but did not affect our overall experience. The staff really looked after us and we did not have to wait to long for drinks and food. We really enjoyed our evening the staff were great and food was delicious thank you.

I had to wait around 5/10 minutes to be seated, everyone was incredibly busy! Which was a shame as I’ve never had to do this before.Service was good and the food was very tasty. The honeycomb cheesecake I really recommend.Good restaurant and good food.

Seated quickly and served with drinks quickly. Our waiter was pleasant & attentive and even confirmed my husbands order as it was made with sweet chilli. Did come here year a year ago in Oct 18 and we walked out as they couldn't sit us, in a very empty restaurant, for at least 30 mins!! So was anxious about coming back. Very good experience though, this time.

Had a wonderful GF meal here a few nights ago. Love that we can choose from a big selection of pizzas, and it was cooked so well I almost forgot it was gluten free. Bigger range of starters too which was a nice surprise. Will definitely be back.

We popped into Prezzo on our way back from Waddesdon Manor. Easily got a table, while the initial order took a few minutes the drinks and food were really good. We had a 2 for 1 which helped. The service was great and the whole experience one of the best we've had for a while.

We arrived early to have lunch before a movie, waited a good few minutes to be seated even though only a couple of tables were occupied. After we sat we were able place our order fairly promptly. Ordered florentina pizza with a soft egg as part of the order. It took a long time to arrive and I had to go and find a member of staff to ask how much longer. Pizzas arrived a short time after but eggs were not only broken but baked on and rock solid. Explained this is not how we wanted them and was given the opportunity to have them remade but by then we didn’t have time to wait so had to make do. There was no offer to deduct them from the menu. At the end when I went to pay I asked if the comments had been passed back to the chef and I was told they had but chef had said they were hard to do. The price was expensive, the service was poor, the food was not cooked how we liked them. No one asked how our meals were or if we would like any oils or anything with our meals and I wouldn’t spend the money at a prezzo again.

Got a takeaway from this prezzo, wrong order sent and completely freezing, to the point the cheese was hard. Tried to ring to complain and staff are too lazy to answer the phone. Disgusting and won’t be eating here again.

Always used to enjoy the food at this chain of restaurants however this meal fell very short. A tastless, cold pizza. My daughters fish too was tastless. I have tried to contact the Prezzo head office since my visit as on my return I realised I had been overcharged on my bill. The customer service team do not accept telephone calls. I was offered a £20 gift voucher which I did not accept as I had been overcharged by much more than this. This to me seems that Prezzos do not care about their customers which is a tradegy.

Lovely welcome. However when the food arrived everything went down hill. I was charged extra for 3 pieces of tinned pineapple to be sprinkled onto my pizza!!! When I came to pay there was total confusion as to whether my account had been debited so I was asked to present my card again and then again. On my return I have discovered that my account has been debited with 3 lots of the total bill. This is described as pending houwever 5 days later I am still £200 out of pocket and Prezzo are not helping my claim at all. Unhappy with this whole experience

This Prezzo restaurant is always excellent. I have dined there many times, at lunchtime, and the food has consistently been very good indeed. The staff are very pleasant and helpful and the restaurant is always clean & tidy. An added bonus is that vouchers of up to 50% discount can be obtained from the internet.

Went for the set menu, good value. Food was good and service was acceptable (incredibly busy!). We look forward to returning.

We have visited this restaurant 4 or 5 times when using the cinema and it has not disappointed us yet.

Had a lovely meal here last night before a visit to the cinema. Was quiet as expected on a Monday evening. Service was very prompt for drinks and food. I had a risotto for my main meal which I asked to be hot, as previously I had chosen this dish and it was only warm. As requested, it was hot! 10/10.

We were a big group of 10 people. The service was great. All food came quick and it was delicious. Also they apply booth taste card and compare the market vouchers.

It’s been a while since we’ve been here as last time found the service not as good.

Visited Prezzo Hemel Hempstead on Saturday 31st August 2019. We were seated very quickly and our lovely server, Kal, came over to take our drink order very promptly. Kal continued to be very attentive and friendly throughout our time at Prezzo. Our food order came out pretty quickly and all dishes were very tasty and well presented.

The staff were very friendly and efficient. The restaurant is bright and clean. The food tasted great and arrived quite quickly.

Dined here with family before going to the cinema. We had booked a table and were greeted by a pleasant waitress who showed us to our table - a spacious booth opposite the kitchen.

Quick evening meal a chance fro where we would normally go. Service was fast and efficient,food is what you would expect. Overall a pleasant experience and would visit again a little expensive for what we had would be my only comment.

We visited Prezzo on the 16th August before going to the cinema. Food came out quickly and was really good! Been to this Prezzo a few times and this by far was the best service we have had (waitress named Lauren). She was super friendly, helpful and very efficient! Thank you!

First of all thank you to amy (our lovely waitress) for making our experience even more enjoyable. Food was amazing absolutely delicious. Staff incredible. Overall very happy with every aspect of our evening out for dinner. Thank you prezzo and staff, we will return.

I enjoyed a lovely evening out with my daughter thanks to the great food made by Paulo and the heartwarming and friendly service by Kal, he truly made our evening special. We both had the posh pepperoni pizza which is a must, especially if you have a taste card. We will be coming again soon.

Restaurant looks amazing but ashame about the unfriendly welcome and sarcasm from the female waitress who put the jug of water on our table, we didn't order drinks I think that was her problem and she did speak at all so rude! .

We visited this lovely restaurant whilst visiting the area on a short break. The service and food were excellent. Our server, Lauren was amazing – friendly, efficient and service with a smile! Even though the restaurant was quite busy, obviously very popular, we didn’t have to wait too long between courses. A lovely family evening. Will definitely eat here again if in the area. Thank you!

I would say this is good for an impromptu meal. Quality is consistent and the staff are friendly, Often go here if can’t be bothered to cook. Good atmosphere and lively.

Can’t WAIT to return. I have a lot of intolerances due to suffering from Lyme Disease and it makes eating out not just hard and embarrassing for me but for my friends and family who dine out with me too. Prezzo don’t just have amazing food that my family and friends love but they can offer me brilliant food options too, following my requirements. The is the 2nd time we have been served by Kal, He offers excellent friendly service and advice. Works excellent under pressure and is one of the reasons we have returned and will return again.

Modern, open, airy restaurant. Perfect place to take the youngsters as pizzas & pasta always go down well ! Seating is comfortable & service was extremely polite & friendly. I must say the food is nowhere near the best Italian I have ever had, but in terms of value-for-money it is nigh on perfect ! GOOD TIP : ALWAYS go onto their website before booking & get a voucher. Prezzo's pre-meal dining vouchers are exceptional value & too good to miss !

My partner and I were travelling from Bristol to visit family for the weekend and had a table booked here at 8pm on Friday night. Unfortunately we got stuck on the motorway for 5 hours following an accident - I called up the restaurant to cancel the reservation and the lady who picked up was absolutely lovely, she told me not to worry and to turn up whenever we were ready, they’d have a table ready for us.

Arrived on a busy Saturday night. Nice to see smiley and happy staff despite the busy tables. Our mains arrived staggered but only by a couple of minutes yet the manager offered to refund the delayed one without us even complaining. Friendly environment and team. Food as expected ( we had burgers)

Booked a table for father’s day, arrived a couple of minutes early but were ignored for 15 minutes as we waited by the door. When we eventually ordered our food, we had to ask where our starters were after waiting 1 hour 45 minutes with no sign of them, meanwhile waitresses were literally running up and down the restaurant. People left without paying after only having drinks due to the abysmal service and most tables were discussing what chaos the restaurant is in. Thoroughly disappointed.

My trip to Prezzo at Hemel Hempstead was absolutely lovely last week. My friend and I were able to catch up and have a fab time in a relaxed atmosphere with good food! Our waitress Tiana was really fantastic, she answered all of our questions about the menu and gave us some delicious recommendations for food and wine.

We tried this Prezzo for the first time whilst on a short break visiting nearby Harry Potter studios.

I admit I wasn't excited at the prospect of meeting a friend for lunch at this Prezzo. We've been a couple of times before as it's a convenient mid-point between us. Both times the food was at best ordinary.

Lovely food and gentleman called Chris served us. A great example of customer service. Absolute gentleman, a diamond in the ruff (Aladdin ahah) Thank you for this experience.

My wife and I can in for a bite to eat on our way to London. I remember when the complex used to house the aquasplash water park but they have done a marvelous job renovating the area.

Good meal at Prezzo at lunch time today. Tomato Bruschetta and King prawns very good. Penne Arrabbita was good but usually hotter and it usually comes with a red chilli but not on this occasion. Rafaela our waitress was very nice. She was cheerful and helpful and made sure we enjoyed our meal.For a Saturday we were surprised it wasn't fuller. However we really enjoyed it. Good clean toilets and I think they had new decor too. Lights very nice but shame about the advert along the window at viewing height. But a very enjoyable meal today

We were looking for a chilled quick bite to eat whilst we had a babysitter in for a few hours. We came to Prezzo and from start to finish we’re treated like royalty by Amy, couldn’t do enough for us and had great chat.Will def be coming back. Thanks Amy.

Lovely menu with lots of choice two courses including wine for £16.95. Food was excellent and impeccable service. Kal our waiter was friendly, polite and attentive making it an enjoyable experience.

I can’t comment on the other reviews, maybe they have turned it around. We are a family of four with adult children. We booked a Saturday night at 19.30hrs. From start to finish our waitress was really attentive and made some really good recommendations. To be honest she was delightful. The restaurant was about 3/4 full. The food came out in a timely fashion and was what we expected and was fresh. We would recommend and eat there again.

We've been here before and food was quite good but after today never again. Service very slow. We were told the head chef had left that afternoon. Waited ages for starters. Two of three main courses were cold and had to be sent back. Replacements weren't much better. Fish didn't taste right at all and veg undercooked. Couldn't even make a proper liqueur coffee. Was just frothy coffee with no cream on top and liqueur thrown in, served in a cocktail glass. Err no, that's not how it's done. Waitress couldn't apologise enough and we weren't charged but that's not the point. We were expecting a nice meal but went home hungry. Avoid.

I should have realised there is a reason this place was empty compared to the other restaurants nearby. I have been to may Prezzo's in the past and the customer service has been outstanding but this one was very poor! I still can not get offer how we were treated.

Just had a lovely meal at Prezzo with my daughter. The choice of food was very good. The quality of the food was excellent and the service from our very happy & helpful waitress Orla was fab.

Had a family meal for 5 and had a great time! Everyone enjoyed their food and the staff were really attentive and charming! Especially Kal and Ola who made a lasting impression! Definitely would recommend for a nice dinner out.

Visited the restaurant on Thursday night after a movie, we had great food and service, our waiter was kall.

Went for lunch here with my friend and her 8 month old baby. Food was great and the waiter Kale was very accommodating. He even held the door open for us as we left. Very kind service. I would definitely visit here again.

Jorgen is the most lovely waiter in prezzo hemel Hempstead he's always smiling and give us always a worm welcome. In my birthday he gave us a cake in the house siging with all his staff. He is a good guy

Wonderful warm and genuine welcome upon arrival. The care and attention to service stayed throughout the whole experience which was unexpected & wonderful. Therefore very disappointed to learn that service charges / tips left on credit card all go to the company. What??!!! This is not right, and absolutely unfair. We therefore gave cash to our waitress but it shouldn’t be this way. I’m sure many don’t leave tips because of this which is a real shame & loss to those that deserve it.

Service was very good! Was served by a waiter named Cal who constantly made sure we ok and couldn’t have done any more for us. Food was lovely and tasty. If there was one thing it would be that it was quite noisy inside the venue, but I think that has more to do with the space and not the service or quality of food. Would come back again.

Had a lovely 3 course meal with family and friends. Waiter (Kal/Cal) was brilliant and everyone happy with their food.

Before I went in my friend who had previously been there said the service was really bad. She wasn't wrong. It took them ages to bring out the food and when they did they brought the main course before the starters. Then they took it back and brought out my starter and the wrong starter for my friend. When they brought out the right starter for her the guy came over and apologised profusely. She said her main course of rissotto was bland and didn't eat it. However, I had calamari and Fiorentina pizza. Both were brilliant. I didn't mind waiting as we had lots to chat about and I would go back there. People were nice.

Lovely evening at Prezzo Hemel with my two friends last night, special mention to our waitress Ellie who provided fantastic attentive service, catering to mine and my friend’s needs the entire evening. Would definitely recommend for food, drinks and atmosphere.

Kal is such a positive and friendly member of the Hemel team and is always giving 110% to his clients.
