Again, Tabure delivers a really fantastic take on fusion Eastern, Turkish dining in a fantastically vibrant, diverse and moody setting. Delivered in a great contemporary way. The restaurant is long, dark and relaxing with superb attitude lighting. The food is of great quality with a diverse, well cooked, well presented, allergen friendly list of ingredients in tasty packed dishes all sticking to simple roots with fusion in tow. The Aubergine Kumpir and the dips are complete stars of the menu, deep, intense and full of flavour - delivering an umami rich take on the classics. Fresh pita, high quality ingredients and great balance is easily achieved and refreshing. The GM knows his stuff, good with reccos and clearly knows the menu for advice, super friendly and welcoming. My only remark for improvement is the FOH was a smidge disorganised, couple nervous waiters and one of the drinks orders forgotten but are all likely linked to experience more so than negligence. Cocktails also sublime, smooth, well mixed and tasty. Great value for money in my opinion. 7/8 high quality dishes, cocktails, wine carafe under 160. Very respectable . You should ABSOLUTELY visit and enjoy the food, ambience and great combos this restaurant has to offer. Can't wait to go back.

Tried this pizza restaurant in Berkhamsted for the first time for Bank Holiday dinner at 7.30pm. The whole experience was very strange. Not really sure how a restaurant like this exists in Berkhamsted as it is completely different to all other restaurants in the area. They didn’t seem to have anything in stock. There was one guy running the place. He said he only had 2 orange drinks left so my kids had orange and I had to go for a Diet Coke even though thats not what I wanted!! . How can a restaurant not have any drinks? I ordered Piccante pizza which should have had chilli peppers and oregano, sausage and red peppers on it. It came with only sausages and red peppers on top. So he clearly did not have the ingredients in stock to put on the pizza. What a complete joke! So it was just lots of red peppers with a few slices of sausages with no flavour at all. See photo. 2 kids and 2 adults we had 4 pizzas and 4 soft drinks for £63 which for a place like this is a complete waste of money. It was cash only so they don’t accept cards yet he did not have enough cash for giving change back. The whole experience was just odd. Not sure if we were there on a bad day or if its always like that but we will most certainly not be returning. When you order a pizza you expect all the ingredients specified on the menu to be put on the pizza!!

Amazing service, 10/10 cocktails from Antonio

My partner and I tried Thai Cottage for the first time tonight, we love Thai food and this place was incredible! Their pad thai was the most authentic I’ve had in the UK, the green curry was also amazing. Staff were very friendly and welcoming, all super polite and made the experience very enjoyable Atmosphere and decor were warm, welcoming and authentic. The restaurant was busy but not too loud Will be bringing the rest of the family here very soon!

A very cosy pub by the canal, friendly service, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. The Sunday roast was excellent, and we’re looking forward to returning to try more from the menu.

Our first time at The Bull and it won’t be the last. The staff are super friendly and welcoming. Great choice of beer and wine and tasty selection of sandwiches served with chunky chips on the side. Very relaxed ambiance. Everyone enjoyed their meal and left happy. Would definitely recommend.

The Anchor is such a great pub, it is so friendly and welcoming, and does incredible food and special food events regularly. The jewel in the crown is almost certainly the beet garden with outdoor bar, and it’s a real sun trap

Visited with family on a Saturday evening, the staff were absolutely brilliant (especially Shah) and the food was delicious. Highly recommend

Access to the outside gardens is quite perilous and not easy for less abled guests. Apart from that a nice pub.

Owner is a nasty piece of work that only cares about himself and no one around him, he talks behind his own staffs back about how bad they are and what they are doing wrong and instead of providing constructive criticism just shouts at them. Would not recommend working or going there.

We had come to Berkhamsted for a meeting and were recommended Fred and Ginger. We were not disappointed. Friendly staff, lovely choice of food for Lunch and the Coffee is excellent. We should have shared our Focaccia which was with Avocado and Chicken as it was far too much for one person. Felt very relaxed in there too.

Great witherspoon pub in Berkhampstead.

Exquisite tasty food, presented elegantly with a fantastic service. Highly recommended, well worth a visit.
