We had a celebratory dinner for my daughter's 21st birthday. Tabure created a wonderful menu for us as we were a large party and this removed the stress of ordering on the evening. Everything was perfect. The surroundings and atmosphere were very comfortable and relaxed, the service was exemplary and the food was outstanding. Every dish was delicious and I'm looking forward to returning to try more of the menu. A huge thank you to Mehmet and the team for a wonderful evening. Very happy diners 😊

Great food and nice cosy restaurant

Tried this pizza restaurant in Berkhamsted for the first time for Bank Holiday dinner at 7.30pm. The whole experience was very strange. Not really sure how a restaurant like this exists in Berkhamsted as it is completely different to all other restaurants in the area. They didn’t seem to have anything in stock. There was one guy running the place. He said he only had 2 orange drinks left so my kids had orange and I had to go for a Diet Coke even though thats not what I wanted!! . How can a restaurant not have any drinks? I ordered Piccante pizza which should have had chilli peppers and oregano, sausage and red peppers on it. It came with only sausages and red peppers on top. So he clearly did not have the ingredients in stock to put on the pizza. What a complete joke! So it was just lots of red peppers with a few slices of sausages with no flavour at all. See photo. 2 kids and 2 adults we had 4 pizzas and 4 soft drinks for £63 which for a place like this is a complete waste of money. It was cash only so they don’t accept cards yet he did not have enough cash for giving change back. The whole experience was just odd. Not sure if we were there on a bad day or if its always like that but we will most certainly not be returning. When you order a pizza you expect all the ingredients specified on the menu to be put on the pizza!!

Been to The Gatsby multiple times. Always excellent food, great service and a treat to have live piano music during the meal. Highly recommend.

I'm not one to leave a bad review, but me and my mum came here to sit and have lunch and a coffee and plan our trip to Italy. On sitting down and taking out my laptop, looking at a map of Naples, the owner started looking at us strangely and then came over and asked if he could help us. I asked him what is in their granola (as I have an almond allergy), and he said "well I'm not going to tell you. I know exactly what you're doing. It's very obvious.". I went over to ask him for clarification on what he meant, and he accused me of stealing his menu. It was very uncomfortable. It's a shame because I have been looking for a cafe like this for a long time, with good food and coffee (although the espresso was bitter) and a nice decor but now I feel too uncomfortable to return. I would avoid if you intend to look at the menu for more than five minutes, or if you have an allergy and need to be cautious, because you will be treated with suspicion and made to feel uncomfortable. Don't show an interest in the coffee bean blend, don't look at the menu too long, and definitely don't take a laptop out...

The food is always 10/10 and the waiting staff are very friendly and welcoming.

Went here for dinner last week. Such a lovely spot with great food and amazing milkshakes. Will definitely be back!
