We had a celebratory dinner for my daughter's 21st birthday. Tabure created a wonderful menu for us as we were a large party and this removed the stress of ordering on the evening. Everything was perfect. The surroundings and atmosphere were very comfortable and relaxed, the service was exemplary and the food was outstanding. Every dish was delicious and I'm looking forward to returning to try more of the menu. A huge thank you to Mehmet and the team for a wonderful evening. Very happy diners 😊

All the food I tried was incredibly tasty, lots of options to pick and I wasn't disappointed with a single one. I was sharing with one other person and this is definitely the way to go rather than picking a main and side each. With such a range of flavours I look forward to visiting again.

The best I have been for a while.

The food here is consistently phenomenal. I would recommend the halloumi-we have it every time and love it. The service is also great. The only downside is that the tables for couples are so close together, so you feel like you have zero privacy and everyone can listen to your conversation. Shame, as it's a wonderful restaurant.

Best food I have had in a long time 🤤 was so good! There was quite a gap between between service at points, though they may have forgotten us. Food was so good though I will defo come back.

Great Sunday lunch, interesting dishes and a great roast beef. Try the prawn and mushroom, just delicious. This wine from the Chianti region was excellent .

First time visiting Tabure and I have to say, I'm sorry I hadn't tried it sooner! Fabulous food, really lovely staff who were great with recommendations, and has a lovely atmosphere, will be coming back frequently! Thank you to the waiting staff and the chefs for making it such a nice visit

Deserves the great reviews. We had the pita with miso butter as a starter, merguez sausage small plate, beef kofte and chicken kofte with a side of Cyprus potatoes and shared a baklava desert. It was all excellent. Both my wife and I agreed it was the best meal we've had for some time. Overall around £90 for two including a couple of drinks. Service and atmosphere both also top notch but took a back seat to the food.

Fabulous!! Lovely atmosphere, decor, service. The food was delicious and leaves you thinking about it the next day like a one night stand. The Service was friendly, prompt and the bill was much less than we were expecting at the end. Perfect place to dine in Berko.

I love this place for dinner with friends. It's buzzing. The atmosphere is really amazing. It's difficult to not give five stars for everything, but the service can feel like you are a bit under pressure of time. As for the food, it's delicious but I just come away with the feeling I there are some gaps in the menu, which have not been plugged. Having said that, I highly recommend going there

Amazing Sunday Lunch!! Tabure has always been a favourite of ours for dinner (the pulled lamb is lovely!), but we went in for a traditional Sunday roast and IT WAS DELICIOUS!! The best roast beef I’ve had in ages!! 100% recommend!

About the 6th time I have come to Tabure and all aspects have been perfect every single time. The food feels authentic yet refined and every dish I have ever had delivers on flavour in all aspects. The refurb looks incredible and has made the dining room even more relaxed, atmospheric and inviting. Service is great, the manager interacts with all tables with a warm familiarity so you feel really ‘hosted’ and his team are quiet but polite and efficient so balances well. Food recommendations I would definitely say the Tuna Tartare, Labneh, Pulled Lamb, Artichokes, Halloumi and Chicken Thighs. Make sure you finish with the Walnut Baklava! An absolute must visit.

The BEST Sunday roast I’ve had in a restaurant. We had been recommended tabure for a Sunday roast and was intrigued to try it as it’s obviously not their usual cuisine. Honestly, the roast beef was better than any traditional English pub I have been to. I love the fact that they pride themself in organic high welfare meat too. The gravy was 10/10 and the cauliflower and broccoli cheese gratin was delicious. Would recommend to any foodie and anyone who is after a proper top quality roast dinner.

The new Sunday roast is the best in Berko. It’s pricey, but the quality is amazing and well worth a visit. We’ll be going back very soon!

Tabure is an absolute gem! The food was delightful, especially the Baklava and the scrumptious halloumi. The staff were incredibly friendly, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. It's a brilliant spot for celebrating New Year's with loved ones – highly recommend!

Great food and service but quite noisy. Good value but book ahead as it is very popular.

Booked a table for 3 for a birthday dinner. Great atmosphere and such a posh vibe. Birthday girl got offered a free birthday prosecco. Then we sit down and start chatting and the waiters couldn't stop reminding us to order our food and that we have to leave the table on time. The waiter comes over to interrupt our catch up to tak to us for 10 straight minutes about how the special fish dish of the day reminds her of her grandfather's cooking. We order meat. Portions are stupidly small: my grilled chicken dish is £16 and it is made up of simply 4 pieces of chicken wings and N O T H I N G else. I am speechless, I have never seen a poor Turkish kitchen like this before, and I am Italian. Food for us is meaningful, while their food is just very pretensious and very poor. We get asked by the waiter, with so much class, if we want to pay the service charge, like if the bill of almost £200 isn't enough for what we ate and drank ( 2 very tiny starters, 3 mains that were basically the size of a starter and 8 small drinks ). Came back home tipsy and ate some more.

Love the refurbishment, nice ambience, though very noisy with all the tables and of course it was a Saturday night. Ordered 3 small plates, as a group we ordered a lot of dishes. Food is interesting but not value for money. My third plate arrived after everyone had finished eating and I had to ask for it 3 times! No decaf tea or coffee options due to an order issue. It was nice to be out in Berko

Amazing food.. really good quality. The meat is really really good, well made. Huge selection on vegetarian and fish food. The butternut squash, steak and meat with lentil (I think lamb, but don’t remember) are absolutely my favourites! Great place for sharing the food with others and try different food. It’s my favourite restaurant in area!

Came here for my anniversary. The serving lady, didn’t get her name, was so polite, funny and attentive to our needs! She recommended a few dishes, which were amazing! We had lamb tava, babaganus, chilli dip, wings, beef cofta, potatoes and lots of pitta! Everything was amazing! The flavours were so perfect and nothing was over-seasoned. The beer was great too.

The food was very tasty. The layout of the restaurant is good with plenty of space between tables and good soft furnishings to absorb sound so you can hear what everyone is saying at your table. The staff were helpful and polite. Overall worth the cost

Love the place, great staff, great atmosphere and bloody good food. Lots of gluten and veggie options which is good for us and the smoked Babaganus, aubergine and cheese kumpir, halloumi with it's quince and brulee are immediately ordered as they are lush.

Went for dinner this evening and wow - nicest local meal we have had in quite a while! We tried our chances as didn’t make a reservation and were pleased we could get seated at the chef’s bar at the back of the restaurant. The food was amazing, such beautiful flavours, super fresh and excellent service. Was lovely getting to watch the chefs at work using the coal barbecues. The halloumi, trio of dips, warm potato salad and sirloin steak were particularly delicious!! Finished the meal with their delicious homemade baklava and a Turkish coffee! Cannot wait to go back and sample the rest of the menu!

Wow. I'm just about to go to Istanbul and this was the perfect introduction. Lovely staff, attentive and ready to serve the food quickly. And, amazing food. AMAZING. Very creative recipes with an amazing balance in tastes that melt into the mouth.

If you fancy a quick donner and chips this isn't the place for you. We had an amazing selection of dishes, full of flavour and textures. The staff were friendly and helpful, we'll definitely be back

Went last week on a quiet Tuesday evening and had some fantastic food as always. So many wonderful flavours. And the cheesecake was back on so top marks.

Love the menu and food was just so different from the usual you see in Turkish restaurants. Some lovely veggie alternatives which I thought were refreshing. Chilli Tabek and the courgette fritters were so amazing!

My partner and I went for a birthday dinner on Wednesday. The food was delicious (house dips and aubergine kumpir for starters, beef kofte and hulya's sinkonta as mains, followed by walnut baklava) and the staff very attentive. I would highly recommend it!

Lovely atmosphere, classy decor, friendly staff, delicious food. Probably the only place where I enjoyed a hallumi cheese dish.

We have been here several times and it never fails to disappoint. Go for lunch and grab a lunchtime deal or have a tapas style dinner with friends. It’s beautifully designed inside and almost looks like a brasserie with a Turkish touch. Waiting staff are always attentive and the babaganoush is delicious. Meats are grilled perfectly and side dishes to accompany are complimentary. Best to book ahead at the weekend as last minute reservations can be harder to come by. Lovely place.

Booked Tabure for my wife's birthday as while some had said pricey you have to try places as people place value in different ways. I can say I was very impressed, from the moment we entered the staff were very professional and friendly, helped for all the questions we could raise on food choices and quantity and we're kind enough to bring over some fizz to help celebrate. We did not hold back on our menu choices and 3 of us ate at £51 PP including tip whilst we did not go mad on drinks I felt this was reasonable as the food it very good and we'll be heading back in a couple of weeks. If you love food, you have to give Tabure a try the creme brûlée and Turkish coffee is nice way to finish the meal so save some space ;)

Absolutely perfect... I can't recommend this place enough if you wanna eat very delicious Turkish meals. You will enjoy your time at a this very cool, beautifully designed and relaxing venue. Tire kofte is the best kofte meatballs we have ever eaten in the UK. And Tabure's baklava desert is definitely something out of this world... Normally I prefer baklava with pistachio, but their walnut version is almost better than my mums home-made baklava. ( Sorry mum 🤣) Looking forward to our next visit.

This is my FAVOURITE place to eat in Berkhamsted. The food is 10/10 every time we visit. The pulled lamb is delicious! The staff and owners make you so welcome, that every time is an absolute delight!

Wife and I were here a few times and always enjoyed. On last occasion particularly relished the chicken with smokey, 'honey basted flavour' ( to me). Ambience very good for group of 4 to chat.

Food was ok, not what I call authentic, prices too high in my opinion for the quality or portion sizes.

The foods was nice, not like other grill Turkish food.

If you love Turkish tapas, or you've already tried their other restaurant in St Albans, the food here is just as good, possibly even better! The menu is practically the same with just the odd change here and there. The food was absolutely delicious. Highlights include the butternut squash, chilli broccoli, crushed potato salad, the lamb & chicken dishes. The decor is really nice, the staff were lovely and it has a much calmer ambience than in St A. The date pudding is the dessert pick of the bunch. The only niggle was we were right at the front so got the icy blast of the fans keeping the 'grill smoke' at bay.

Staff is kudos to company going effortlessly doing amazing customer experience.Owner shouldn’t criticise staff not smiling in front of a customer is not professional and he is not doing a work in busy hot environment.Lucky they have a great management that support them and motivate them .Owner is lucky to have a such a amazing team .Food is fantastic only baklava was dry and clothed cream was not needed maybe lovely traditional sirup.to give a moist.Definitely place to come back .

The food is really good but you pay a price for it! Very good for gluten free and vegan/vegetarian. Worth paying for a special occasion. Went recently and was really disappointed with the baklava dessert so wouldn't order that again but everything else was great.

Had a great dinner. We ordered a selection of starters and mains to share between us all. By far the best dish was the pulled lamb. Amazing dish. We ordered some pisco sours (not a Peruvian place so I should have known better) and they were not great. They needed a lot more syrup.

We were in the neighborhood so decided to have a meal in the restaurant. We love Turkish food and have been to quite a few in England. The food is fusion and not authentic Turkish in my opinion. I didn't ask, where the chef is from. Starters were good but Hummus and babaganoush wasn't the real deal. We were not overly happy with the mains. The cod and kofte were both disappointing. Ordered all five desserts- did not hate them but equally didn't love them either. Food looked pretty but lacked flavours.

7 of us went here for a birthday meal . 5 of us didn't enjoy the food at all . The food was salty and seemed to lack any flavour . Maybe they were having a bad night but I spent a lot of money and ate very little .

This place is not cheap and is not for none foodie folk BUT if you love flavour and can appreciate the work that goes into individual dishes then EAT HERE ASAP it is excellent and the staff are top notch

Interesting menu with lots of choice and all the dishes we had were absolutely delicious. Portions were very generous - so we had take some home in a doggy bag! Service was excellent and a great atmosphere in the restaurant - felt vibrant and lively without being loud.
