Awesome place, food is exquisite

Went for lunch, was quiet. We had pasta and spaghetti sadly both were overcooked. Was disappointed as I've been a few times before and always had a good meal

Service ok but say they cater to vegans but no vegan cheese. So child had pizza with tomato sauce !!! We had 3 kids and 1 adult. All pizzas and garlic bread 1 g & t 1 coke 1 Fanta total £90!! Ridiculous nothing special about pizzas or anything at all. Felt mightily ripped off

The place is very slick and the service was very nice. Unfortunately the food was not up to the same standards. I know that being Italian makes me sound harsh or patronizing but in no other places in the world i came across balsamic vinegar on Margherita Bufala!!! Pasta was overcooked and the prices are not exactly cheap. I wouldn’t return.

6 of us went here on a Saturday late afternoon for a Birthday celebration. We did pre book, but being the summer holidays it was fairly quiet. We had a table in the court yard, food was AMAZING, service was very good and it was generally a super nice few hours spent in a lovely restaurant. Would recommend and cant wait to return.

We had a late Sunday lunch which is probably why it was fairly quiet, though we were far from alone. The layout of Storia is impressive and feels comfortable. M’lady had salmon and tiramisu while I went with Chicken Milanese with biscoff cheesecake after. Coffees to complete a really worthwhile first visit. We’ll be back for sure.

Good atmosphere. Clean and very pleasant, but a bit pricey.

Really disappointed overall - had to wait for over an hour for food whilst they prioritised a giant table next to us. Myself and my pregnant wife sat nearby at a table without any proper lighting and were essentially forgotten. Nearby table got up and left prior to eating as they were fed up with waiting. Arrived at 08;30pm and don’t get food until 9:45.. Food was ok when arrived but my wife got food poisoning and was sick last night as prawns undercooked.. Not great way to spend out anniversary and wouldn’t reccomend..

We enjoyed a lovely Sunday dinner for three generations of family at Storia, Tring. The food is always excellent (especially the chicken Milanese, the mortadella pizza), and the service is always so warm and friendly - we had a toddler toddling around and only smiles from the staff! Storia is a real treat. We feel lucky to have it as a local restaurant. Thank you to all the staff.

Our first time dining here and it certainly won’t be our last. We had a lovely relaxed lunch. Everything was delicious (special mention for the arancini and truffle fries) and the service was friendly and attentive. We look forward to returning for dinner.

Food and service 5/5 Table location 2/5 This is a really wonderful place to eat, with good quality options and great service. We came in for a birthday lunch and had a really great experience. I took a star off because our table backed onto a large window, and halfway through the meal the sun came out quite intensely and created a greenhouse effect for myself and my husband, with our backs to the window. There was no blind to give us any shade and at that point the restaurant was full so we couldn't move. I'm sure this isn't the first time this has been an issue, so installing some blind or other solution would be ideal!

What a great place to go and eat. The service is excellent and the food is absolutely delicious! I very much look forward to returning to Storia Tring.

Storia never fails us with its excellent service and fantastic food choice. Always our No1 choice when we have a family night out in Tring. Margila and team always make us feel very welcome. 10/10

Margila was amazing. Best meal ever. My daughter and I had a fantastic time. I don’t have enough superlatives for it. Really enjoyed.

Nice spot. Had an early dinner here with my dad whilst on business locally. Food was good, room was good. Staff were nice, and everything was clean and tidy. Will definitely eat here again.

I love this restaurant. The food is consistently great, the menu is updated with the seasons but the winners (such as the truffle arancini!) remain throughout the year. The staff are friendly, attentive and welcoming. The decor and layout are stylish and interesting.

Rather disappointing. Service was very slow and not very respectful. It took a long time for our order to be taken, then the waitress ignored us and once we had our main courses she tried to take my friend's plate away while he was still eating! A lot of staff changes here recently but they need to get the service level back up to where it used to be.

Fabulous pizza and 2 side salads, a glass of wine and a lager. Lovely venue and sat at the back so was quieter. By the time we left, those table full. Good service throughout. Only negative, was the tiramisu. Came in a glass dish, with a cover. The sponges were on the dry side. Has to be on my list of the worst tiramisu’s I have tasted. Ate 2 spoonfuls and my husband, who was a Labrador in a previous life, ate the rest. Should have gone for the ice cream. Would have liked a non alcoholic cocktail, but they only did one. Missing a trick here, especially for the lunchtime trade. If I am on the area again, would 100% go again, and try a pasta dish and some ice cream for dessert.

Excellent meal out for my dads 70th birthday. Really friendly service and attentive. Food was great, pizza was incredible! They even sang happy birthday and put a candle in the dessert for us too! Thank you very much!

We recently celebrated my husband's birthday at Storia restaurant in Tring, and it was an exceptional experience. The food was delicious, with standout dishes like the arancini truffles. The service was impeccable, and they handled allergies excellently, ensuring everyone could relax. Despite some of our party arriving late due to traffic, the staff were incredibly understanding and accommodating. Overall, a fantastic dining experience with friendly and attentive service. Highly recommended.

This is a great place to eat for a special occasion or if you want to have a lovely meal in a beautifully appointed restaurant. Service was very good and the food was just as good as it sounded on the menu. Prices were reasonable for the quality of food and service.

Friendly and attentive service without being over bearing. I appreciated the spacing between tables which made Storia more relaxed and less noisy than some restaurants. Food was very well presented. I especially liked the aubergine starter which was delicious. Will come again. 😊

Last evening we spent in Storia. That was not my first time there, so came again. Everything was amazing and service was perfect. The young lady Margila was very professional. Very good decent local restaurant brilliant to have so close to where we live. I had the truffle arachini and the calzone which was just incredible it was super hot and fresh which is hard to get these day. I also appreciates that for such a larger group of us, the plates all came out at the same time !! 👌 Definitely recommend

Had an awesome lunch at this spot! Kicked off with truffle arancini balls that were to die for, followed by the crispiest truffle fries. The chicken salad was fresh and tasty, but the mushroom ravioli stole the show. Service was top-notch, and the vibe was upscale but chill—perfect for lunch and screams date night material. Also love that the service charge is actually optional! Of course you had it on, but it gives you control.

Came here for a birthday meal, large party, 10 of us, we were sat in a downstairs area with another big party, unfortunately that didn't start things great as it was really quite dark and dingy down there and we felt very isolated from the rest of the restaurant. Service wasn't great as was impossible to service unless someone came down (which wasn't often) one starter came as everyone else had finished, no apology. Food good, however the pizza was average not what, you'd expect, also no pizza cutter? Having to cut your pizza with a knife and fork felt a bit messy and was an inconvenience. Dessert was taken incorrectly, we had 2 extra, and the lemon posset was just not set, it was a liquid of lemon, we were told it was a fresh bath which is why they were runny, but surely just, don't serve them then? Would have rather not have had it. Deposit having a few issues during the evening, when it came to paying there felt an added pressure by the server to increase the tip.

I dined here for the first time this afternoon and had a really great experience. The lady looking after me, Margila, was very polite and efficient. Would recommend!

First time at Storia on a Saturday Lunch, family friendly. Service was excellent, food (pizza) amazing. Nice to have an Italian back in the building, reminded me of the Forno Vivo days

We had a lovely meal but as it was Saturday night it was busy so staff seemed rushed. They dribbled beer over one of us accidentally, a starter came out when the rest of us had finished, and the staff weren't very attentive, rushing back and forth trying to talk to us as we sang happy birthday to a member. The panacotta desserts we all got too were runny and the manager said it was as it was 'fresh' but they were cold and soup like. It felt the service could be more caring and attentive especially for a large party and special occasion.

Always great, the food is lovely, the service is attentive and the atmosphere is Eid buzzy but relaxed. Perfect place for a date, or with friends or family. We have been at least four or five times and enjoyed it everytime.

Really impressed with the visit and continuing the five star streak for the new restaurant in town. Service stands out as incredibly efficient and professional. Not a lot of small talk, but everything works brilliantly. The entire team is also incredibly talented, even when it was very busy. Food also very good indeed and more than a match for the service. They don't advertise the Gluten Free menu, you have to ask, but well worth asking as it's comprehensive and includes pasta! Wish they did pizzas too... But all the food is excellent. Nicely Italian! Wine list ok too. Well worth checking out. Highly recommended based on this visit.

Fantastic lunch for family of 5 (kids aged 9,12 &13) . Delicious food and fantastic service. Would love to see a few more vegetarian options on the menu but everything we ate was lovely. Will be back again!

I just had the most amazing experience at Storia Tring Restaurant in London. It was my first time in that part of London, and let me tell you, it was absolutely fantastic! The food was delicious, and the staff was incredibly friendly and attentive. As an Albanian myself, it was such a lovely surprise to meet some more Albanian people there and feel that sense of home. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a great dining experience. You won't be disappointed! 🌟🍽️

Great evening here. The food was excellent, I would highly recommend the roasted cod. Service was nothing out of the ordinary, no conversation at all.

Had an amazing meal here! I usually think of sea bass as a rather ordinary dish, but this was absolutely scrumptious! And as we were a table of three, Tee and the other waiters helping us gave us three mini cannolis, instead of two. Above and beyond - thank you!

Visited Storia tonight and it was a pleasure, food was delicious and the service was amazing. Our waitress Tee was very friendly, bubbly, attentive and knowledgeable and gave recommendations that were spot on and delicious. Atmosphere was also perfect for the occasion, I would certainly return again.

This is now a regular for us. Great food - we loved the mushroom truffle pizza and the vongole was delicious. Fresh, good quality food - keep up the good standards and we’ll keep coming for sure. Kid friendly.

Delicious as always (resisted ordering my usual crab & prawn taglioni and feared regretting not having that top notch dish, but the seafood risotto was equally superb), with attentive Tee making the evening extra delightful with her excellent service. We love coming here and hope to be back soon!

We have eaten a number of times at Storia, Tring and will continue to return. The food is great. The service is fast and friendly. And the atmosphere is uplifting (warm and cozy in winter and cool and airy in summer). Tee looked after us this evening and we were always greeted with a warm smile.

What I like about Storia is their consistency. Whenever we come we know the food will be top notch, service friendly, and atmosphere easy going. Top tip. Come at 5pm on a Sunday for a chilled meal. Top Top 2. Not on the menu... Order a limoncello spritz... 50ml limoncello topped up with equal measure of prosecco and soda. The guy behind the bar does it perfectly 🥰

Quite a large space in the centre of Tring. Food was okay, nothing special, 4 different meals and all were average. There are better places nearby.

came here today 06/08/23 for my birthday meal with 4 friends and 5 family members. my family on the other table got their food well before us and finished their food before us hence why i’m knocking off a couple of stars. we didn’t get a single explanation or apology as to why our food was taking so long. starter we had was garlic bread, shared 2 plates of that between us and it was lovely. main courses took a while to come but i had a plain margherita pizza and chips. i wouldn’t buy the chips again especially for £4, wasn’t a good enough portion at all, pizza on the other hand was lovely. would i return? maybe. food was good but service wasn’t great.

I came here for lunch, and it was absolutely fabulous! The food arrived in under 20 minutes, and desert arrived in only 5 minutes. The quality of the food was incredible, with the perfect size portions. The area is lovely, with very friendly staff members, and plenty of plants to add a relaxing natural feeling. I would highly recommend this brilliant restaurant! 😀

Literally the best food with quality service and lovely atmosphere

Lovely restaurant with great food, warm welcome, fantastic service and atmosphere. Went there with friends and family. Plenty of vegan and vegetarian choice. The setup is quite roomy, spacious and not cramped like many of the restaurants now a days. Recommend this for a special or casual late lunch or evening dinner. Would Def go there again
