Storia Tring in Dacorum

This is a great place to eat for a special occasion or if you want to have a lovely meal in a beautifully appointed restaurant. Service was very good and the food was just as good as it sounded on the menu. Prices were reasonable for the quality of food and service.

Friendly and attentive service without being over bearing. I appreciated the spacing between tables which made Storia more relaxed and less noisy than some restaurants. Food was very well presented. I especially liked the aubergine starter which was delicious. Will come again. 😊

I had a wonderful evening yesterday, I celebrated my birthday. The food was great, we ordered steaks and drinks as well. The service was good. Margila was very attentive and everything was on time, she also kindly took some photos for us to remember and made our evening unforgettable.

Last evening we spent in Storia. That was not my first time there, so came again. Everything was amazing and service was perfect. The young lady Margila was very professional. Food was very tasty and drinks as well. We enjoyed every moment. Thank team for such a good, professional service and unforgettable atmosphere. Recommend this restaurant 100%!

Very good decent local restaurant brilliant to have so close to where we live. I had the truffle arachini and the calzone which was just incredible it was super hot and fresh which is hard to get these day. I also appreciates that for such a larger group of us, the plates all came out at the same time !! 👌 Definitely recommend

Had an awesome lunch at this spot! Kicked off with truffle arancini balls that were to die for, followed by the crispiest truffle fries. The chicken salad was fresh and tasty, but the mushroom ravioli stole the show. Service was top-notch, and the vibe was upscale but chill—perfect for lunch and screams date night material. Also love that the service charge is actually optional! Of course you had it on, but it gives you control.

Came here for a birthday meal, large party, 10 of us, we were sat in a downstairs area with another big party, unfortunately that didn't start things great as it was really quite dark and dingy down there and we felt very isolated from the rest of the restaurant. Service wasn't great as was impossible to service unless someone came down (which wasn't often) one starter came as everyone else had finished, no apology. Food good, however the pizza was average not what, you'd expect, also no pizza cutter? Having to cut your pizza with a knife and fork felt a bit messy and was an inconvenience. Dessert was taken incorrectly, we had 2 extra, and the lemon posset was just not set, it was a liquid of lemon, we were told it was a fresh bath which is why they were runny, but surely just, don't serve them then? Would have rather not have had it. Deposit having a few issues during the evening, when it came to paying there felt an added pressure by the server to increase the tip.

Fantastic food we tried chicken milanese which was amazing , big salad portions which i loved & gorgeous atmosphere with very attentive staff.

I have been to Storia Tring a few times now and have enjoyed each visit, the food is delicious, the restaurant itself is beautiful and the staff are very attentive. Will happily return when in the area.

First time at Storia on a Saturday Lunch, family friendly. Service was excellent, food (pizza) amazing. Nice to have an Italian back in the building, reminded me of the Forno Vivo days

We had a lovely meal but as it was Saturday night it was busy so staff seemed rushed. They dribbled beer over one of us accidentally, a starter came out when the rest of us had finished, and the staff weren't very attentive, rushing back and forth trying to talk to us as we sang happy birthday to a member. The panacotta desserts we all got too were runny and the manager said it was as it was 'fresh' but they were cold and soup like. It felt the service could be more caring and attentive especially for a large party and special occasion.

Really impressed with the visit and continuing the five star streak for the new restaurant in town. Service stands out as incredibly efficient and professional. Not a lot of small talk, but everything works brilliantly. The entire team is also incredibly talented, even when it was very busy. Food also very good indeed and more than a match for the service. They don't advertise the Gluten Free menu, you have to ask, but well worth asking as it's comprehensive and includes pasta! Wish they did pizzas too... But all the food is excellent. Nicely Italian! Wine list ok too. Well worth checking out. Highly recommended based on this visit.

Always great, the food is lovely, the service is attentive and the atmosphere is Eid buzzy but relaxed. Perfect place for a date, or with friends or family. We have been at least four or five times and enjoyed it everytime.

Fantastic lunch for family of 5 (kids aged 9,12 &13) . Delicious food and fantastic service. Would love to see a few more vegetarian options on the menu but everything we ate was lovely. Will be back again!

I just had the most amazing experience at Storia Tring Restaurant in London. It was my first time in that part of London, and let me tell you, it was absolutely fantastic! The food was delicious, and the staff was incredibly friendly and attentive. As an Albanian myself, it was such a lovely surprise to meet some more Albanian people there and feel that sense of home. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a great dining experience. You won't be disappointed! 🌟🍽️

Great evening here. The food was excellent, I would highly recommend the roasted cod. Service was nothing out of the ordinary, no conversation at all.

Had an amazing meal here! I usually think of sea bass as a rather ordinary dish, but this was absolutely scrumptious! And as we were a table of three, Tee and the other waiters helping us gave us three mini cannolis, instead of two. Above and beyond - thank you!

Visited Storia tonight and it was a pleasure, food was delicious and the service was amazing. Our waitress Tee was very friendly, bubbly, attentive and knowledgeable and gave recommendations that were spot on and delicious. Atmosphere was also perfect for the occasion, I would certainly return again.

This is now a regular for us. Great food - we loved the mushroom truffle pizza and the vongole was delicious. Fresh, good quality food - keep up the good standards and we’ll keep coming for sure. Kid friendly.

Unfortunately we had to send back our dish as there had been too many chilli flakes put on. The dish was brought back exactly the same. No apologies. Not impressed

Delicious as always (resisted ordering my usual crab & prawn taglioni and feared regretting not having that top notch dish, but the seafood risotto was equally superb), with attentive Tee making the evening extra delightful with her excellent service. We love coming here and hope to be back soon!

Amazing place, staff are friendly and food is out of this world, the salsicca pizza is the best pizza I think I have ever had!

We have eaten a number of times at Storia, Tring and will continue to return. The food is great. The service is fast and friendly. And the atmosphere is uplifting (warm and cozy in winter and cool and airy in summer). Tee looked after us this evening and we were always greeted with a warm smile.

Had super family birthday lunch at Storia. Food was delicious and first class service including serving birthday cake. Our waitress, Manila, was very attentive.

What I like about Storia is their consistency. Whenever we come we know the food will be top notch, service friendly, and atmosphere easy going. Top tip. Come at 5pm on a Sunday for a chilled meal. Top Top 2. Not on the menu... Order a limoncello spritz... 50ml limoncello topped up with equal measure of prosecco and soda. The guy behind the bar does it perfectly 🥰

Quite a large space in the centre of Tring. Food was okay, nothing special, 4 different meals and all were average. There are better places nearby.

came here today 06/08/23 for my birthday meal with 4 friends and 5 family members. my family on the other table got their food well before us and finished their food before us hence why i’m knocking off a couple of stars. we didn’t get a single explanation or apology as to why our food was taking so long. starter we had was garlic bread, shared 2 plates of that between us and it was lovely. main courses took a while to come but i had a plain margherita pizza and chips. i wouldn’t buy the chips again especially for £4, wasn’t a good enough portion at all, pizza on the other hand was lovely. would i return? maybe. food was good but service wasn’t great.

I came here for lunch, and it was absolutely fabulous! The food arrived in under 20 minutes, and desert arrived in only 5 minutes. The quality of the food was incredible, with the perfect size portions. The area is lovely, with very friendly staff members, and plenty of plants to add a relaxing natural feeling. I would highly recommend this brilliant restaurant! 😀

Literally the best food with quality service and lovely atmosphere

Lovely restaurant with great food, warm welcome, fantastic service and atmosphere. Went there with friends and family. Plenty of vegan and vegetarian choice. The setup is quite roomy, spacious and not cramped like many of the restaurants now a days. Recommend this for a special or casual late lunch or evening dinner. Would Def go there again

A nice little date night with my girlfriend and we chose the perfect place. The restaurant looked great, the food was exceptional and the staff friendly.

My food was fine, but I felt we were being pressured to leave, even though the table was booked for another hour.

Food was absolutely delicious!! Gluten free friendly with many options to choose - I cannot wait to visit again so I can try the other dishes on the menu.

We had dinner here as a family, and had a really enjoyable experience - so much so that some of us came back for lunch the next day! As we were a group of 9 including a hungry tired toddler, we preordered our meals (our choice) and was so impressed when all food was ready on arrival. Food was excellent. We mainly picked pastas and risottos, but the pizzas seem popular too. We found the portions generous, but made space for dessert - no regrets! All were fantastic, Lotus cheesecake was a particular favourite. Atmosphere and decor was great (we were there Sunday evening) - open kitchen entertained our toddler for a bit. Service was also attentive. Would 100% recommend.

A very pleasant meal in quite eclectic environment. The staff were professional and friendly. A great idea to have a choice of two different sizes of portion on most dishes. Not exactly fine dining but good food, well presented. A little bit lacking in atmosphere for a Sunday lunch time.

The vegetarian risotto was delicious. Shame that's about the only vegetarian dish that doesn't have truffles in it. More vegetarian options would have been nice for those intolerant to mushrooms.

This was my second recent visit to the Tring branch and the pasta dishes did not disappoint!! We chose Harissa Chicken and Penne Con Salsiccia - cooked to perfection. I would have given 5 stars overall for the food but have deducted a star as the desserts on my first visit were underwhelming (Lemon Posset and Cannoli).

Went for wife's 60th for first time. Very nice decor and atmosphere. Welcome by head of staff and service from friendly waiters all evening was excellent. Food was fresh and on time and fairly priced. Very nice evening.

Went with a friend one early evening and had delicious food and bottle of proseco. Service was good but we were the only ones in there. I like the decor, good mix of formal but relaxed. Have been previously also also enjoyed the food.

2nd time in two weeks, both brilliant, a great gastro feast was had. great team very welcoming.

Visited 3 times in 3 days mainly for a couple of drinks with friends whilst visiting the area. Service was excellent each time with attentive friendly staff always with a ready smile. Always seated promptly. Spotlessly clean with a lovely relaxed atmosphere. We all shared a couple of nibbles, olives and flat breads highly recommended. Hoping to go for a full meal before we head off home in a couple of days

We are a young family (2+7yr olds in tow) looking for a place to lunch post Natural History Museum visit in Tring. Nothing was too much trouble. Attention to our needs was great. Food was filling and was of good quality. We left a tip with happy full tummies.

Nice place and staff but poor pizzas ! The starters were average except the calamari which was not great , straight from a box I would suspect ! But all four of us gave some feedback to the staff on the quality of the pizzas on Saturday night , but absolutely no return feed back from the manager . I’ve been eating pizzas for 50 years and these rated as quite poor . The type you would expect from Tesco express for £2.99 that you heat up yourself . Such a shame as the place is quite tidy and well run . I feel they’ve let their restaurant down, my family down and more importantly the manager has let himself down . Shame .

Recommended lunch spot after a good walk around the Natural History Museum. Delicious food for adults and children and good price point. Love the spicy pizza with burrata, yummy truffle arancini. Great kids pizza portion as well. They should open a branch in Central London please ✌️

We went for lunch on a Monday at half-term and it was very busy, but staff were welcoming, friendly and efficient. Younger patrons were making good use of supplied coloured pencils and paper. Food was promptly delivered, tasty and reasonably priced. We'll return for sure!

We surprised our Dad for his 70th Birthday with a big family meal at Storia. The food was amazing! staff were fantastic, they went above and beyond, allowed us to sneak in balloons and the Birthday cake in the morning and they all sang Happy Birthday when they brought the cake to the table. Great atmosphere. Look forward to going again.
