A fantastic taste of Italy in Hemel Hempstead. Their sfogliatelle and arancini are delicious! Great service. Nice and friendly staff. Recommended!

Cappuccio is a lovely family run café. The food and drinks are lovely. I love to get a breakfast deal which includes small coffee and a handmade panini, it's fab. The atmosphere is fab too, always buzzing. I would definitely recommend this place 👌

Not sure what happened to this place but one day the coffee was awful, on another visit the sandwiches were old and could tell that these had a strange taste. I'm not surprised why next door they're really busy when this place is mostly empty recently. Shame

Such a lovely place. The food is amazing and the atmosphere is great. The staff are always very friendly. We had our wedding party here back in March and we couldn't have asked for better. I would definitely recommend Cappuccio to anyone.

This is a lovely cafe with some nice choices on the menu , cakes are best in town but since covid I don’t feel that enough cleaning between customers is taking place at all . Twice I have been and twice I’ve had to clean the table myself before sitting .

The home made cakes (Victoria Sponge for Chris and the Tiramassu for me) and the coffee are just wonderful. It's a little taste of Italy in Hemel. My other half and I love it here. They where there for us during lockdown and we are here for them now 😘

Popped in this morning for a cappuccino and was greeted with a pleasant welcome. Safety was clearly key in the shop and it was. Coffee was lovely and picked a pastry too. Really nice shop and nice staff. I will be back!!

THE best coffee in town! Coffee is smooth and creamy. Not like the norm in chain stores where the coffee is bitter and tastes burnt!! This will definitely be the only place I buy coffee when I’m in town. Apart from the lovely coffee, it’s cosy and very welcoming!

Outside seating, nice peeps, not the cheapest tea in the world but ok.

Cappuccio's is a great place to grab a coffee.....miles better than the usual chain places and the coffee is authentically Italian. I had a nice panini and an Americano, both great.Nice little selection of Italian goods for sale inside too: wine, pasta and biscuits too.

One of the very few places in Hemel Hempstead which you'll like to visit again. Cosy atmosphere, delicious coffee, tasty Italian sandwiches and desserts. Pop in because is worth it.

Had another lovely lunch here on Easter Monday. The Salads are really nice with a lovely dressing of light olive oil and seasoning, just right. Cake also yummy. Very good service too!

Hi! The coffee tastes so good ,just like in Italy! Last Sunday we went there in the morning and the lady who served us was very lovely and friendly,I think her name was Ramona! Very lovely!!

Lovely little coffee shop to visit whilst in town shopping. Coffee was lovely and they also do cakes. Outside seating is available aswell as a toilet inside. Clear menu on display at counter. Not alot of seats inside but very cosy. One of the nice coffee shops in town.

I must have been in the cafe at an awkward moment, but coffee was just 60% of the cup, lukewarm and I was a bit disappointed. I'll try again 😉

This for me is the best Italian Café, not just in Hemel Hempstead, but the surrounding towns, i.e. Luton, St. Albans, Stevenage and Watford. The atmosphere is fantastic, and the staff, Barbara, Romana, and Roxanna are always friendly, cheerful, and to me are the best Barista's by far. It is the only place I will go for an espresso, or for an authentic Italian filled panini. I would recommend this to anyone, who enjoys a great espresso, or any coffee. Try it once and I guarantee, you will keep going back.Andrea

Extremely rude staff, especially the owner. Cafe looks pleasant, shame it was ruined by the staff. Don't try take a photo inside because the staff get 'offended'. Immediately harrassed and bombarded us with aggressive questions, why we took a photo and which social media platform we put it on etc. If you are so sensitive about controlling customers taking photos or using social media then perhaps you should put warning signs up!!! We will never go back. Sorry, but you do not deserve customers. Disgusted.

Food is ok. Coffee is ok. Staff just shout to their mates who are sitting in the shop in their native tongue. Not a great atmosphere.

On a last minute pre-christmas shopping dash to Hemel and needed some sustenance so popped in. Good staff and quality of beverages and food etc with comfortable surroundings.....What more can you say, so go and try it 😁

Love it here! Food is lovely and coffee is great! Also hired out the venue about a year ago for a birthday party and it was perfect, catering was amazing and staff always friendly!

What's not to like here, love the food and the coffee, and the alcoholic beverages.

I pop in here quite often, generally on weekend mornings if I’m in town for shopping. It’s definitely my favourite place for coffee in the area, and the food is good too (my partner absolutely loves their toasted sandwiches, and there’s always a lovely selection of Italian pastry on offer). The staff are always really friendly, and some of them look related so I suspect it’s a family-run business. I much prefer to support a small independent cafe like this than patronise one of the local branches of large franchises; not only is the coffee far superior, but you’re supporting a local business.

Lovely independent cafe' in the center of HH. Wide selection of daily made paninis, focaccia, cakes and Italian specialties like Tiramisu, Sfogliatelle, cannoli Siciliani and Baba'. I have become a regular customer and love the European feel t this coffee shop where they serve my Saturday treat: vegetarian Arancino followed by a strong espresso and a Tiramisu'! BTW Cappuccio also organise great social evening events, Charity fund raising, Italian wine tasting, Xmas parties and more bringing life to an otherwise dead shopping mall. Let's not forget Cappuccio is also child and breastfeeding friendly. What not to like?

Lovely place with real Italian food and great coffee! What more... cakes! My fussy teen had pininni that she loved and I had a rice covered bolognese ball, I forget the Italian name but it was delicious and the side salad had a simple dressing that was wonderful. The service was friendly and attentive. No complaints, all good.

I’ve visited Cappucio a couple of times now and every time I’ve been, the drinks have been tasty and the service friendly and welcoming. The decor is gorgeous and the menu is vast. I’ll always enjoy a trip into town for a drink here.

Always a good choice for a coffee and a bite to eat and a nice change from the usual big chains found on the high street. Staff are friendly, helpful and welcoming. The food is fresh and always good.
