We went this evening for my stepdaughter's birthday and what a pleasant surprise we had. The best Risotto I have ever tasted. Lovely food, lovely staff and spotlessly clean.The prices are amazing and we can't wait to come again.Thankyou so much.

We went to Barracuda for the second time last night. The food was delicious, freshly cooked, generous portions and very good value. The staff were friendly and very attentive. My husband had chicken Barracuda and I had pan fried cod which was one of the nicest meals I’ve eaten in a long time. We will definitely be visiting Barracuda again and thoroughly recommend.

Thought I’d rated this already, but seemingly not. Just a brilliant place to get dinner (or lunch). Food is classic UK Italian and all the better for that. Service is a model for other places to try and emulate. Friendly, straight forward and no messing. Food arrives quickly and exactly as ordered. Top draw and highly recommended. Incredible value too.

Lovely huge genuine Italian pizza, recommended! Veal dish however was over salty, otherwise ok. Good service, friendly staff.

Just had chicken alla parmigiana and it was huge, utterly massive 👌 ...the pasta that accompanied it was also tasty and they added extra fresh chilli for me. I'd definitely recommend it, the prices were reasonable, especially the children's meal for £6.50

We regularly eat in and get take away. Nothing but perfect and great for gluten free

I have been to Barracuda twice now. On both occasions the food and the service have been excellent. There is a lot of choice, the prices are very reasonable and you get very generous portions. The Barracuda pizza is delicious!

Great food and fantastic service!

Whole place was filled with pensioners, which makes sense considering their taste buds are declining… the portions are one thing they have right.

Wow! I can’t believe we have never been here living 15 minutes away. The staff are welcoming and friendly. The food is absolutely amazing. Best King Prawns I have ever had. We will be back very soon.

Sunday lunch , fantastic food, amazing staff. Brilliant atmosphere. My 13 year old son said it was the best pizza he had ever eaten and he’s tried a lot. Great value for money.

The service was really kind and the portions were quiet big. You can tell the crust-dough was nice and crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. We ordered Belgian apple pie and tiramisu both of them were delicious. We will come again for sure. Super friendly service and giant portions which I'm not used to here in England. The pizza dough was very good and the desserts were delicious, we ordered the Belgian apple pie and the tiramisu. We will repeat.

We went for an early weekend dinner and had a fantastic meal. All the food was cooked to perfection, well-seasoned and absolutely delicious. We enjoyed a nice glass or two of Montepulciano. For starters, we had King Prawns and Tricolore salad, while for mains we had Lamb Ragu and Calzone, followed by espresso and Limoncello. The service was friendly, prompt, and informative, as they gave us honest advice on portion sizes. We couldn't find fault with the entire experience - it was a perfect 10/10. We're planning on visiting again.

7 of us visited to celebrate a birthday in the family. Food and service was fantastic. Portion sizes are huge. We have also visited for coffee on a separate occasion too, which was lovely. Only reason for a 4* was because the manager was a bit over bearing at times. We quite like to be left alone to eat.

Delicious food, very friendly staff who were happy to chat and teach my brother some more Italian (!) Lovely atmosphere with clean toilets too.

After being recommended Barracuda and seeing how good the reviews for this place were we were left rather disappointed with what we experienced. My paté to start was good, however my partners starter which was the mussles in white wine and garlic had absolutely no flavour. The mussels may have well have been in water such was the lack of flavour. For the main course we had a GF pizza which had some lovely toppings but the base was what you'd expect for GF... nothing to rave about and my chicken and mushroom risotto again had very little flavour other than garlic so again disappointing. The saving grace for me was at least the chips were decent enough otherwise i would have went home hungry. I guess for the price you can't really grumble as the total of the bill was under £70 but the whole experience was just a bit basic and forgettable. The whole meal only took 50 mins which for myself personally was way too quick and gave the feel that they were just throwing food out without any care. Can safely say im glad to have tried it but we will definitely not be returning again.

We had lunch at Barracuda today which was an absolute delight. It's housed in the old bank which is very impressive, and when you go inside it's as nice as the outside! Really enjoyed the lunch and the tiramisu was so delicious. Charming Italian family atmosphere and nice music as well. Really pleased we went there.

A friend of mine recommended we try this place out and we were not disappointed. Highly recommend the lamb ragu pasta dish with few glasses of the house red, it was all really delicious.

Excellent, non pretentious family run Italian restaurant in the heart of Tring in old banking premises. First class staff, very friendly and helpful. Top quality food at sensible prices and the house wine which they let us sample first was very good. Have been there a number of times and will keep going.

Having visited the Restaurant several times during last year, I organised a Sunday Lunch on behalf of a Local Masonic Lodge. We filled the First Floor where 34 Guests enjoyed an Exemplary Meal & Experience. All the Dishes were not only Scrumptious but served with a Professional, Bubbly & Smiling Team! Authentic Italian Cuisine, Generous Portions & a Unique Atmosphere generated by a Caring Family Team.

Fantastic meal, one of the best chicken escalopes I've ever had. Owner was incredibly welcoming and despite a super busy night found us a table for my birthday. Our waiter was top notch too. Overall a terrific experience at a great price in a small but beautiful English town. We'll be back!

I remember this as a bank, and again as a chain restaurant that disappeared. Now it's a family-run Italian. It's an attractive place, service is friendly and efficient; it's popular and the prices are fair. It gets noisy very quickly though. We enjoyed our dinner there and would be regulars if we lived here.

Everything was average. Not impressed. Food was basic. Loved the dessert tho.

I absolutely love the food.....I had prawn cocktail w avocado & calzone. But it went sour when we went to pay the bill: we'd did a deal with the owner to have the prawn cocktail included in the fixed price menu for an extra 50p......but the deal wasn't honoured. My friends were unhappy & said they wouldn't come again & left without including the usual £3/head tip......so the restaurant lost £9 & 3 regular customers. Plain stupidity !

We booked a table, last minute, for a Sunday evening meal. The food was excellent and the service was fantastic - we didn't have to wait long for any of our courses.

My wife and I visited this Restaurant a couple of weeks ago and found the food and staff excellent, so excellent that we booked a table for eleven for our grand daughters birthday and once again excellent, service food and staff. Definitely our go to Italian restaurant form now on.

This is a wonderful place for coffee break or meal enjoyment. My family had enjoyed our first experience in Barracuda Tring when we were Tring on Sunday night. The foods that we ordered were Salmon Salad, Salmon Steak and Ribeye steak. They were all very delicious with good smell and well balanced in colors. The services were excellent and the owner was so friendly that the atmosphere was amazing. There was a family party celebrating grand father's birthday then. We fully enjoyed eating there and would certainly visit it again.

Really enjoyed our meal. Friendly and happy staff. Great selection on the menu. Food cooked perfectly and well plated. Finished of with a wonderful espresso. Even got a happy birthday and cake for the birthday girl. Arancini for starters and a hot gnocchi alla Sorrentina for a main. Highly recommended.

I was looking for a nice places for three generations of family and the reviews were good so we booked for a Saturday night. We has family meal for seven people & everyone was very happy with everything about their food. The service was just right, nice pace and availability of waiting staff. We all had different meal and they all looked impressive, particularly the seafood risotto, lamb shanks and calves liver. The price of main meal and puddings is reasonable for exmaple large pizzas just over £10 and tirimisu for around £5. The house red was also very reasonable and drinkable. The atmosphere was good with lots of tables full of happy diners and a window where you could see the chefs at work. I used to think Italian was a bit one dimentional but not here, a great menu. Highly recommended

We went to the restaurant with our family, a party of seven. The service was excellent. A very varied menu made sure you could choose something you like. The food was well cooked and delicious. There was a nice atmosphere too. It couldn't have been better really.

First time at Barracuda .. definitely won't be our last! Excellent ambience, delicious, authentic Italian food and friendly and efficient service. Very reasonably priced, too. Family run business and we wish them every success.

Called in for an early evening meal having spent the day at nearby Ashridge. What a fantastic family run Italian restaurant this is. Calamari and arancini starters were on point followed by three excellent pasta dishes. The quality of the food was exceptional and great...

Barracuda is, without a doubt, my favourite place to eat. The food is always excellent and full of flavour (highly recommend the Tagliatelle agli Spinaci), and I have never experienced better service in a restaurant than I have here. Every member of staff is friendly, incredibly attentive, and always goes the extra mile. I have visited many times and cannot mention a single issue - it’s clear that the team care deeply about their business and their customers. For such great food and an all round impeccable operation that always delivers quality, Barracuda is excellent value for money too. They’re great with kids (happy to accommodate fussy eaters) and are the perfect place for family lunches (make sure you order the garlic bread, it’s absolutely divine!). A must visit if you’re in the area - you won’t find better.

Overall I can describe it as a nice and honest Italian restaurant. The food was really good especially the spaghetti Bolognese. The starters were ok nothing to get excited about. Atmosphere is nice and the service is good too. Worth the visit.

This is a very nice restaurant in Tring town centre. We visited restaurant for dinner with friends. I had for main pappardelle lamb ragu who was slow cooked and very delicious. Also it’s great value for money I would say. Definitely will visit restaurant again.

Love Barracuda. Food has always been great, staff are excellent and really engaging. Our "go to place". Not expensive and quality has always been good. If you want something added or taken-out of your food they will accomodate this. just ask.

Just had an amazing lunch with my wife and daughters. Very accommodating, excellent food with a very authentic taste - miles better than the chain restaurants. Service was very quick and friendly. Can't recommend enough.

We come here for dinner all the time! The food is always spot on and the prices aren’t too high! They also offer gluten free pasta which is delicious! I recommend barracuda to everyone ! We will keep coming back :)
