The best restaurants in Colchester East of England

We went all over town in search of the best chips to take away and found them on the next street. Friendly, quick service

Not to busy on my first visit here. Food and drink was good. Parking was tricky, slightly confusing getting the entrance. Overall very good.

ordered online walked down from the premier inn 3mins down the rd got a half & half stuffed crust pizza the guys in there where nice and polite and made me a banging soft dough pizza

Horrendous!!! Over an hour late! Paid £20 for a mixed kebab selection and got a diner meat kebab with some burnt chicken. All cold. Tried calling the restaurant to see if they could resolve this but was greeted with utter rudeness. Will never order from them again. Disgrace

pizza and burger were 10/10 Unfortunately my kebab and chips were cold. very unusual and hopefully a one off

Very bad food. I ordered peri peri chicken and got very dry chicken, smells bad and feels like old chicken. If I could give zero star I would have given them that.

We love this restaurant especially Paul the head chief who accommodated my dietary requirements and even remembered my dietary needs a year on! I was very impressed. Despite a limited menu, when you talk to the staff they are very supportive to dietary needs. Paul was absolutely lovely and checked if everything was ok during the meal, plus all of our 13 meals came out very quickly.

Standard chinese really. A little bland in places with the sauces for the dishes been weak in flavour and colour. Chicken balls were good and prawns of good quality. Just the flavour was a little lackluster overall.

New years eve event good BUT somewhat spoiled by the venue. Bar automatically added a service charge to ALL drinks then did NOT give a receipt so many were unaware they were paying an extra 10% on the price of their drinks. Venue will not take cash so we will definitely not return. Very uncomfortable pillows and no hooks in en suite, even had to scan a barcode on phone to park the car.

I ordered a delivery by telephone, paid by card and waited an hour an a half on a Saturday night for my food to arrive. On arrival there was food missing, I called the restaurant to be told a dish that I ordered was not on the menu so that’s why they did not deliver it. When I asked why they took the order and payment when the food isn’t on the menu I was told the person who took the order was new and they didn’t know. Totally ruined my night with my family who is visiting. Was told they can’t bring me anything else as they are short on delivery drivers!!! 0/10 for this restaurant

It’s good. Like as a college student it’s just outside the college. However, this might be petty but I’m always missing something from my order whether it be a sauce in my food or just some simple whipped cream in my hot chocolate or the syrup actually being in my hot chocolate either don’t know how they don’t understand to take customers orders properly it really confuses me.

Ordered a pizza ( mexican hot ) I asked for extra topping ( hardly any) Also a portion of fries! Had to wait 40 minutes for the order, When it arrived the fries were just about warm as was their pizza! Not the best experience!!

I ordered two magic bags via toogoodtogo. Lovely saveloy and chips, with a piece of cod. Friendly service with a smile, please give this place a try.
