The best restaurants in Castle Colchester East of England

Popped in for a bite to eat. Panini and coffee both very good. Friendly staff and well priced . Would return.

Went in Friday evening with a friend for a few cocktails and some food… I was very indecisive on what I wanted as I’m not a big cocktail drinker but very quickly Hayden was there to make that choice easier; not to mention his cocktails were 10/10.

An amazing little place with excellent food at student-affordable prices. Service is friendly and quick, and you get to watch your food being prepared so you know it's all fresh and handmade. I've never seen it busy - surprising given the low price and high quality - so you don't have to wait to be served. There's no seating in-house, but it's only a short walk west and left (past busy Gregg's) and there's plenty of benches. Personally I loved the BBQ chicken baguette (£3.85 for roughly a footlong sandwich), which will definitely become a regular choice of mine.

Good thing is the location we had a few drinks here and was a good atmosphere and fairly friendly as well

Wanted to eat here for a while, tried calling to book table and number just cuts off. Sent them email to book table, they responded with one word CLOSED. If this is the way they treat their potential customer, then I am sure they will be closed permanently!!!

The cakes look tempting. Warm atmosphere and dog friendly. Coffee was nice but not very hot ie Luke warm. Will continue to visit for the Lattes

Food took over an hour to come .I accidently put my address as delivery .when I wanted it at my sister's .I called up and changed it . Food was still sent my address then an address that sounded the same as my sister's then finally my sister's . No surprises rrally if it's cold as still not here

Just ordered from here and I was curious due to the reviews. It wasn't as bad as some of the reviews. The foor arrived within 20 mins and was warm however the chips were hard and chewy.

Been ordering from here for a good while but the quality has become worse and worse. Twice my husband hasn’t had any salad with his kebab - a massive part of the meal - and tonight my pizza was burnt to a crisp. Sorry, Bodrum - this was the last straw and we won’t be ordering from you again.

ordered online walked down from the premier inn 3mins down the rd got a half & half stuffed crust pizza the guys in there where nice and polite and made me a banging soft dough pizza

Staff are helpful and friendly food hot and tasty..

It’s good. Like as a college student it’s just outside the college. However, this might be petty but I’m always missing something from my order whether it be a sauce in my food or just some simple whipped cream in my hot chocolate or the syrup actually being in my hot chocolate either don’t know how they don’t understand to take customers orders properly it really confuses me.

Pretty average subway, nothing overly amazing about it. Service is adequate, the food is as you would expect.
