Pretty average subway, nothing overly amazing about it. Service is adequate, the food is as you would expect.

Only really went here as I was working a couple of doors away. I have had the odd Subway before and really don't understand the popularity. Seems very overpriced for what you get. I had the veggie patty which was ok, nothing special. Perhaps I am missing something.

East StIt was our daughter's birthday so we ordered champagne. It sat on the bar unopened with some normal wine glasses by the side. We waited and then had to ask for flutes and to have it opened - they seemed surprised at the request! Had a snack. Waitress spilt Mayonnaise over us. We had to ask for a cloth to mop it up ourselves and ask for a replacement Mayonnaise. The food didn't all arrive together. Table not cleared until asked. No apologies offered - just excuses "young staff and a wedding on". Bill near on £100. No reduction offered. Such a shame as have had some great times there over the years. Very reluctant to return now or recommend to anyone else.
