Dirty cafe, food very ordinary, long wait. Ordered a sandwich and the bread was actually mouldy - apology given and taken off the bill. Never again

Our dinners were excellent - Sea Bass and Carbenara. The waiter was able to change penne to tagliatelle just helpful and willing. Thank you. Kids margherita and veggie sticks wnt down well so assume were good. The place clearly welcomes the little ones and they were taken well care of whilst we had ours

We have been here many times before but our last visit was somewhat disappointing. The food took a long while to arrive and we found our waitress a little curt when we asked if we could have more custard. After spending £150 for 4 we thought it wasn't unreasonable to politely ask if my son could have a little more as the serving was very small. The waitress said that it was the portion size which came with the dessert but she would see if it would be possible. To be honest after waiting 45 minutes for our starter and a further 30 for our main course, we didn't think we were being demanding. We won't be rushing back again. Food was alright but overall pretty mediocre and would have appreciated being told there was a long wait time especially when in advance we had been told our table had to be vacated after two hours but we were still eating at that time because of the slow service.

One of our favourite places to go for lunch over many years but no more. Had issues last time with food quality and today was the reverse! Good food but the service was poor, long waits, inexperienced staff, seated in a chilly bar area, no fires lit. Generally below par, we won’t be back it’s nothing like it used to be…..

Really enjoyable pub lunch. I had the chefs pie of the day, Pheasant and Partridge served with mash, red cabbage, mashed carrot and swede and brussels sprouts. It was home made to a very high standard, absolutely delicious and far more filling than it looked. It wasn't cheap at about £16 but it was good value and I'll definately be going back sometime.

There were 8 of us who came for breakfast and unfortunately we asked for lemon for the soup, but they brought me lemon peel. And one of our orders which was eggs was brought to us after the breakfast was over. I really do not recommend this restaurant to customers because of the higher cost than the quality provided.

Came here during my stay at Center Parcs, we arrived 5 minutes early to our reservation, and our table wasn’t ready, waited in the bar for 10-15 minutes for our table to be ready Sat down we were greeted by Sharon who might be the most wonderful server i’ve ever been served by. She asked about our day and our plans and took our orders for our mains and starters. Our drinks and starters were quickly served up quickly. After which it did take quite a while for our mains to arrive, and when they did they were more on the “warm” side rather than the hot side which was a bit disappointing, thinking it may of been sitting for a while. Sharon then took our dessert orders and made sure we got our customisations correct! Overall the entire experience was nice and handily carried by Sharon’s amazing serving!

Took a chance by turning up but luckily there was space for a large group of us, who just happen to decide we should at least try the menu. Staff where really nice and welcoming to use and guided us through anything we was not sure of. From ordering to eating, food was really good as well as arrived on time for everyone to eat at the same time. There was even an Ella's kitchen snack for free included for the kids. If you have a group of 4 or more people then boom in advance, or avoid busy times to not be disappointed

Arriving at the Coach & Horses early evening we were impressed with the helpful and friendly welcome. Our positive reaction continued with the spacious and immaculately clean room. Large wet room as we requested well stocked with bathroom requisites. The guest accommodation is in a building separate from the pub premises. It looks quite new and clearly a lot of attention has been paid to design and quality. Following a very comfortable night we headed to the pub for breakfast. Cereals available along with orange juice on a self service basis followed by a full English cooked to order. It was excellent with well cooked bacon and sausage and beans on the plate rather than in one of those little pots you see these days. Service was friendly and efficient. So, we were heading for a strong ‘5’ - but then we booked in for dinner which, surprisingly, was a bit of a disappointment. I’ve often found that pub curries don’t work for me but in this instance I decided to make an exception and chose the Beef Madras. The flavour was excellent and authentic but the beef was either a cheaper cut or was undercooked as it was very tough and took a lot of chewing. Such a shame. My wife chose the fish fillet which she described as tasteless. The sauce was OK but didn’t rescue the fish itself. The crumble came to the rescue. Full of fruit with a creamy custard and a generous portion. Delicious.
