We actually ordered a takeaway from here and originally we were a bit skeptical as the prices are so reasonable. However we were very pleasantly surprised. The food was delicious and the portions were perfect. The lamb korma was perfect for my taste, the lamb chunks were small but plenty of them and very tender. We also ordered a butter chicken and this was lovely and the chicken was cooked well. The keema rice was lovely and fresh tasting, not oily, but did have a bit of a kick which I wasn’t expecting. The delivery driver struggled to find us as we are in a new estate but when he called he was very polite and friendly. Overall I would definitely recommend ordering from here.

Our last minute decision to grab a curry after a busy day tonight was definitely the right choice. We had the most delicious meal with attentive and friendly service. The dishes were so fresh and with a discernible layering of flavours. I couldn’t fault anything. Such a welcome change to the usual one dimensional curries so often found in BIR, which use the same base gravy for every “different” dish. Cranfield Spice has individuality within its menu with some unique and unusual dishes, which are all superb. Also the kitchen is more than happy to tweak each dish to accommodate each individual diner’s tolerance to chilli heat. A little gem in our village and one which I’m happy to share with others who love a good curry. I had a chicken tikka dhansak, mushroom and spring onion rice, mushroom bhaji and onion bhaji.

The food was really good. We were a table of 9 for a birthday party and had a 7pm booking. We didn't get our main meals until 9.45. We asked to see the manager regarding the delay and were told that it was normal to wait that long as they had on line orders which took priority. They didn't offer any discount or apology. Znager wasn't bothered and really rude. Won't be going again.

Family run business, Dad is Chef and food is amazing, portions are superb. Son runs front of house and the service was second to none. We couldn't get an Uber so the Son was doing a delivery and gave us a lift back to our hotel, wouldn't take any money for the journey, a true gentleman.

We have ordered before in the past from here and we liked the food! Credit where it is due. It was late but I am far too lazy to write a review out unless my experience was fantastic or awful. My experience the second time I ordered was the worst customer service ever. I mean, I am writing a review, so that's a giveaway. I am a foster carer and at the moment I have a sibling group of 4 gorgeous children who love Indian food. They spent the afternoon reading the menu and choosing their food. We were going to have a little party! I ordered in the afternoon and understood they were not open yet. When they did open I checked the website (I don’t have the app) and it said it would be an hour. No problem. After an hour and a half and no usual text to say its left the restaurant and a LOT of nagging by 6 hungry children (4 foster and 2 birth) I called to check they had remembered us which is what most would have done. When I called the man was foul. He said ‘It was just leaving and it would be faster if I wasn’t "wasting his time" by calling’. He also said ‘you managed to order ok on the app so check the app and you will see that I said it was going to be late’ The children grabbed the phone and said ‘we’re hungry!’ They thought it was a fun game but I realized this guy was not child friendly and so I hung up and said ‘Lets not bother the nice man, he said it was just leaving’ to them. After another 30 minutes and me telling them ‘It won’t be long now I am sure!’ I checked to the website. I could not believe it. The order had been cancelled. I rang him. I said ‘you’ve cancelled the order? You said it was about to leave! ‘ He said ‘we have enough customers already so I cancelled it’. Yes I was mad. And I told him I was. The children had been so excited, they have been let down by adults their whole life and here was another one. I told the man this. He could not have cared less. Lovely. It was already way past their bedtime so there was no time to order elsewhere. So, in summary, if you want nice food and want to gamble with there being no problems then this is the place. If you care about good customer service if there are any issues, avoid like the plaque.

Had a delivery for New Year’s Eve. I wish I’d gone to the other Indian in the town as this one was absolutely awful had two main causes two starters it was over priced 50 quid for delivery and the only thing any good was the poppadoms it all went in the bin after about two mouthfuls everything tasted the same or they were two totally separate dishes. They should be ashamed of themselves, serving up this Muk I can’t actually remember the last time I had food this bad of any cuisine I certainly will not be returning. I will not recommend it to anybody. In my opinion you should stay clear of this place.

Ordered from here once before and it was nice so ordered again. This time I found chicken bones in my Madras and the chicken was dry and bland even my side of Saag Aloo was bland. I contacted restaurant to let them know. I understand that sometimes there can be bones in chicken but I have never experienced this in any curry takeaway ever. He said as it came came from real chicken it can and he will take it up with supplier (phew glad they use real chicken) I told him food was bland and dry he said because you live so far that's why. If quality will be effected don't deliver that far this should not effect quality!

We went there for the Buffet on Sundays from 1pm onwards. The food was really amazing and hot. 😋😋😋 It was not a huge selection but there was something for everyone and proper tasty. The lamb balti was my favourite and the lamb just fell apart. Chicken Korma and Tikka Masala were fab too. There was also a Chicken Naga but was too much of a wimp to try lol 😆. Everything was kept hot and refilled a the time. Onion Bahji and naan, rice, Bombay potato and veg balti - all very nice too. It did not effect us but the restaurant is on the second floor and has no other access than stairs. But we will be back. Thank you for a fab time ❤️

Im unhappy with my order. Unfortunately due to ordering as a guest I've had trouble accessing this order. Unfortunately the entire order was disposed of as completely inedible. Completely burnt and swimming in greese.

Went there the first Saturday after the relaunch as Sahil’s Spice, was pleased to see the changes in the decor, my wife and I had the mixed platter starter and our son went for the Lamb samosa, both were delicious and well presented. I went for a standard main a Chicken Dansak which was spot on, the wife had South Indian Garlic Chilli which was delicious, my son normally likes it a hot Naga decided to try the Royal Masala which is a Masala but made with a Naga chilli sauce it was delightful combination and he thought must have again in the future, the various vegetables and rices dishes we had was very good, the Garlic + Chilli Nans also good. Service was a little erratic, but to be honest it didn’t bother us the whole experience was superb.
