The best restaurants in East of England

The interior doesn't attract me to go in. You need to change something to make it more pleasant to enjoy a beer or coffee.

Went to this fish and chips shop today . And wooow what can I say everything I ordered was cooked fresh to order nothing pre cooked. The owners of the shop are really friendly and make me feel very welcome . Great food really tasty . If you have chance to go there please do and experience their great food .

They cook the best Chinese food.

The Old White Bell is our local village pub and we are so lucky to have this wonderful establisment within walking distance. Their Sunday lunch is always truly delicious and great value and bar manager Nicky always looks after us very well. The proprietors, James and Sean have created a tasteful, cosy and inviting ambience and we enjoy every visit.

Only go there to buy something small....sometimes i get served quickly n sometimes have to wait a bit but its nothing to cry about

the most expensive item on the menu was sirloin steak £15. I do not believe any other item on the menu exceeded £ 10 and its a big choice menu. the service was quick and attentive. the food was well displayed on the plates . the restaurant/cafe was clean and neat. a good place to go to eat.

The lady who served me was a delight. But the coffee house has changed hands, and although still serves coffee and cake, hasn’t got the beautiful cakes it had with the previous owner and now specialised in Japanese menu! I ordered a toasted sandwich and a coffee. The coffee was lovely the sandwich lacked presentation. I wish them well in their new venture and hope they make a success of their business, but I feel Dovercourt needs a coffee shop where regulars and visitors can enjoy coffee, chat and enjoy nice cakes and scones!

Would highly recommend The Crown. 6 of us had a meal and was very pleased great portions and delicious. Friendly staff. Great family friendly pub with a nice big garden. Thanks the Crown

Lovely place for a girls night out

Very nice pub with excellent staff With good parking. Our service was great and Some of the food we had today was exceptional and other were good. All at a great price. We will most definitely be back.

Excelente cordero asado con verduras. Han tenido pollo asado antes, que también era tip top. Gran personal, gran ubicación, buena comida.

We've found our new Chinese takeaway spot!!! First time using and it was brilliant, the Hong Kong style chicken was crispy and soft, the beef in black bean was very soft and full of flavour!! The noodles were lovely and the ribs in peking sauce fell off the bone and were very tasty. Staff were friendly and even rang me (as i was collecting) to let me know it was ready as they didn't want it to get cold! The best Chinese we've had in a long while, we'll be back!

Un cachorro real que visitamos un par de veces a la semana. Allí la noche de pescado y patatas fritas es genial a un precio razonable y muy sabroso. Mientras que los pubs de los pueblos cercanos se han deshecho de las mesas de skittles, el de aquí es uno de los puntos culminantes del pub. Pude jugar la mayor parte del tiempo con juegos de eliminatorias la mayoría de los viernes y domingos. Las bebidas son un buen precio y el propietario y la casera son encantadores al igual que el resto del personal del bar. Un encantador pub donde te hicieron bienvenido y saben tu nombre.

Went for breakfast with a friend, we had no8 on the menu, everything came out of a tin, the sausage is processed rubbish, tomatoes out of a tin , little mushrooms out of a big tin , the whole breakfast is cheap rubbish

We are a coffee morning group who enjoyed a wonderful Christmas lunch at The Three Tuns. We all agree the food was cooked to perfection with a fun and friendly atmosphere. Maria is a super cook and Mike a great host.
