My second visit, my friend hadn't been before. A perfect roast pork lunch, and the profiterole dessert looked stunning (I was done by then)... Staff were lovely, and couldn't do enough for us, and the local ale was on point... I can't praise the Black Horse enough... Go and experience it for yourselves!!

I visited Ber Street Kitchen on 6th December, I was looking for an independent cafe near Float Norwich to visit after my float session. After checking on Google maps I was recommended to this delightful, charming café. The menu included the normal items for a cafe and some variations. I had the smoked haddock hash I asked for normal hollandaise sauce rather than the mustard hollandaise and they happily accommodated my request. The staff were friendly, polite and efficient. The quality of the food was excellent. I would highly recommend this cafe.

My porridge turned up cold, so I sent it back. It came back and it came back cold a second time. I asked for sourdough toast with my breakfast, but was told “it only comes with certain meals”. They said they could give me sourdough bread, but they didn’t bother giving me that either. The other plates of breakfast were not hot either. Overdone poached eggs. Some of the staff were not unduly friendly, or helpful.

Another amazing evening at the barn restaurant, consistently good food, great menu choice for all tastes including children and vegetarians, all food served hot and efficiently. Prices are very reasonable, portions sizes are great, quality great don't think this can be beaten in the area.

I have been going to this beautiful little tea room for many years, recently i went in with my wife and daughter, we ordered some drinks and my wife and daughter ordered a piece of cake each, when the cake came it was the tiniest slither of a portion and the charge for each cake was in excess of £4. What a rip off, you seriously need to look at both your prices and your portions before you destroy your business and your reputation.

We'd been to Danbury Lakes and found the closest pub to go have some lunch. So we were introduced to The Bell and wow I'm so pleased we were. Let by Daniel who's lovely and had a choice of seats as a walking club who had booked table were not walking sure to the heat. 32C We were both made welcome and seated with a fan. Complementary water at the bar was nice. The menu is quite extensive and the food we chose was well worth it. I had the Sausage Melt and my wife had a Cheese/Onion baguette. Both come with salad and chips, and they were very filling. Such a nice place to eat with great food, friendly staff who made us very welcome. Just to note this is a dog friendly pub, with facilities for the larger dogs like Greyhounds too. So to follow this up, we are looking to have a lunch with friends with our dogs, when the weather is less crazy.

The lunch menu was varied and very reasonable. Everything we ate was delicious and beautifully presented, the service was good too. We’ve driven past lots of times and always thought we should try it. I’m glad we did today and will definitely be returning
