Stopped by for a quick lunch. The staff here are great My partner and I both noticed that the portion sizes of the sides were disappointingly small. The burger I ordered came with a teaspoon of coleslaw and a scent number of chips. Noticeable decline over the years.

Absolutely best chicken and mushroom pie ever! Chips were cooked to perfection. Great, friendly service. Will come again

We had a fantastic last meal at Mr Tangs. We have been visiting for over 30 years and have never had a bad meal. With very best wishes to Mary, Ken and all the team for the future. Thank you for all the excellent food, always friendly welcome and lovely atmosphere. It will be much missed and judging by how full the restaurant was earlier we aren't the only ones who will miss it!

Great atmosphere. Clean tidy pub. Food was excellent value for money. Staff exceptionally pleasant. A big shout out to Shanice. Her service and general welcoming manor was second to none. A credit to ‘Green King’!!!

Lovely atmosphere. Although you may have to wait a little while for your food, it was well worth it. Good selection, well presented, lovely flavours and very accommodating. Great experience; will certainly be returning here!

We prebooked unsure how busy they might be in late January but needn’t have worries as we were the only people in the restaurant. Had a lovely table by the window. The menu was same as in the Sloop downstairs just a nicer vibe in the restaurant. We just went straight in for main courses - mussels and fries and haddock and chips. Both fresh, hot and tasty, great food, reasonably priced

Christmas lunch at Lovejoys with the family. Food great and very generous portions . The service was impeccable. Great day thank you so much.

Could do with a bigger menu but lovely staff and food great

I have had breakfast here twice now. It’s a great prospect and the food is excellent. All portion preferences catered for, the mega is what it says and would feed two! Great value! The queue is a bit of a pain but they do serve fast and delicious coffees! Worth a visit
