The best restaurants in East of England

The Kings Arms is a fantastic pub - lots of character, great Guinness (with a Shamrock on top!), reasonable prices, good food, regular live music and a friendly feel. I recently hosted an event there and found the venue and catering absolutely perfect. The outdoor area and parking at the rear , given the pub’s location in the middle of town, were a real bonus also. Sean, the Landlord, was extremely helpful throughout and the service we received, and his care and attention to ensure everything went smoothly at a difficult time (it was a Wake), were second to none. He is very experienced at what he does and once I explained what I wanted I felt I could then forget about it and focus on the other things I had to do with 100% confidence that I wouldn’t be let down. I couldn’t recommend the Kings Arms enough, first and foremost as a pub, but also as a venue for your catered events and gatherings. Many thanks again Sean and all the Team.

Great pub with a great atmosphere. Went here for dinner for my son's birthday and the food was excellent as were the staff. Couldn't recommend enough and will be returning soon.

First time visiting and I will definitely be coming back. The atmosphere is really nice and the food and drinks were really good. I tried the white chocolate raspberry blended coffee and it was soooooo good. The club on croissant was also super delicious.

We arrived about 9.45pm . Staff were efficient, friendly and helpful. Food was freshly cooked , and delicious. Excellent as always !!

Went last night for the first time.ordered a chicken shaslick that came out on a plate already. Am I missing something as normally served sizzling on a wooden board. No peppers just lots of onions. My sisters tikka exactly identical in presentation and colour. Mine had no taste hers was ok. Thought food was extremely over priced and even the onion condiment had no taste. To much honey on the nann bread. And Bombay potato had funny taste. But service was great. Sorry but would not return on this basis. I live in Cheshunt and there’s an award winning one there it’s amazing

Have eaten here a few times so my daughters chose here for a mothers day meal for me , i was disappointed in the mains mine and my daughters chicken was very rubbery and tough , very disappointed in the meal.

We love coming to Likya. The food is always amazing and the service is fantastic. These guys really know how to look after you.

Brought mum here for a 90th birthday lunch as she adores seafood. Fabulous place, a warm friendly welcome, the most delicious seafood, wonderful friendly service, beautiful sea view. We sat at wooden benches in the gazebo and despite being December we were toasty warm under the heaters. Thank you for making mums birthday really memorable, we loved our lunch with you. Highly recommended!

Amazing food, great service. You are not rushed through every course, my only disappointment was I didn't have room for desert and they looked fabulous ✨️ amazing food again!! Service was excellent as always
