The food, the service, the drinks - all wonderful - in a beautiful and relaxed setting. We had a lovely evening and will definitely be back. Loved it x

Great food with large portions. A little on the pricey side but worth it for decent food. A very busy restaurant. Let down by the long wait to order, felt we were ignored for far too long. Friendly staff though, just a shame about the wait.

A lovely breakfast and slice of cheese cake very busy on a Saturday morning but they had quick service. The cafe was a little loud. And the price was a little on the expensive side for two breakfasts, drinks and a slice of cake. But what you get tastes lovely.

I had my first meal delivered via Uber from these guys last night - just wow - the cod was chunky and cooked to perfection - curry sauce lush - pancake roll was scrumptious and the chips were so tasty and huge! Thank you guys x

Great place to eat, drink and dance.

Not only is this a gem of a nursery with great quality plants and knowledgeable,friendly staff but it also has an amazing cafe. The food is fabulous and certainly the best selection of options of any local garden centre. They have a quirky tradition on a Tuesday that if you can throw a double six with the dice provided they will pay your bill!! This has been a very lucky day- we’ll be back!

Rarely do you find food of this excellent quality served by exemplary staff at a reasonable price......

We had a very long drive to meet up and have lunch with a long time friend who lives in the village. My husband and I were blown away by the quality, flavour and presentation of the food. The staff employed are a credit to the establishment, professional, friendly and cheerful. The dining rooms are peaceful and calming with lovely artwork on the walls which are for sale. We look forward to another meal here.

Absolutely brilliant! We hired The Brentwood Kitchen for our daughter’s 18th Birthday party and hired the DJ they recommended. Venue was great and DJ Steve excellent! We took along some balloons but that was all. Decoration is so optional and really you don’t anything… Just turn up with a happy face and your dancing shoes! Food was really delicious and was beautifully presented. Lots of compliments from guests. Bar & Kitchen staff were very lovely and really friendly. Communication was also excellent, very friendly, relaxed, helpful and swift responses to any queries (not that we really had many). Would definitely recommend! Thank you so much for a great night.

Love going here when we visit Huntingdon always get a good meal but you need to remember they only take cash

Nothing but good things to say. Big breakfasts, wide range of options (including wide range of drinks). Food is always spot on and served quickly. Open on Sundays.

I've lived in Colchester most my life, so I'm annoyed that I just recently found this absolute gem! So in the last month we have visited 4 times as I don't think I'd get better elsewhere! Lovely menu with plenty of different options and I'm making my way through the lovely teas. The food we have received has been just perfect and delicious. Pretty outside seating and also lovely inside. And the absolute kicker is the value, so much good quality food for a very reasonable price. We won't go anywhere else now 🤣 and also the lovely staff who are so welcoming and friendly. Lovely young girl always asks what we are up to for the rest of the day and she genuinely seems interested, absolutely wonderful 😊 thanks for making our weekends just perfect!
