The best restaurants in East of England

We had the absolute pleasure of dining at this outstanding restaurant in Radlett, and we were thoroughly impressed! The food was not only exceptionally delicious but also beautifully presented – a true feast for the senses. The ambiance is warm and elegant, creating the perfect setting for an enjoyable dining experience. The service was impeccable – attentive, friendly, and genuinely welcoming. It’s clear that every detail is handled with passion and care. We were blown away by the quality and flavors of the dishes and can recommend this restaurant without hesitation. If you’re in Radlett, this culinary gem is an absolute must-visit. A heartfelt thank you to the entire team for making our evening truly unforgettable. We will most certainly be back!

Disappointing. Went in on way home with no booking and the place looked good so we were hopeful of a good experience. Service was clunky with the bar man being waiter and server too. It was also very slow. Had to get our own menus. All had different dishes and they were all of varying quality IMO. Took a long time for food to appear and it did not come out all at the same time. Steak was fine. Burger average. Plate looked lacking. Chips awful. Tasted odd - I thought they were oven chips but if fried under done. Small portion. Veg options not great - Frittata not good and was not eaten. Fish was ok Pie ok chicken ok. Overall it was a disappointment. I have had much better for similar pricing and I would not go back. The staff were friendly and the setting is quite nice so I would say the chef let this meal down.

Appalling behaviour from the server, having clearly specified we would be attending with two dogs at the time of booking we agreed we would be seated in the conservatory area which we were informed was dog friendly. Upon arrival, the pretentious and arrogant bald male who came to the door looked down his nose and refused seating stating the dogs had wet paws. Given it was raining of course they were going to have wet paws but they were clean having just been showered from a walk. He stated the floor would be stained as it’s porcelain, which is nonsensical given we also had wet soles of our shoes from the rain. How is the conservatory dog friendly if that’s the case?! His attitude was vile and never have we been made to feel so beneath someone. He clearly did not want the service and as result we will never return so such a degrading environment.

We were recommended to go to the cafe saying food is good! We waited 10 minutes for a table of 4, staff are friendly and even though they were busy but food and drinks come out efficiently and they were very tasty! Certainly will come again!

Always a good choice of varied and interesting beers available. Friendly service and a relaxed vibe

When the booking was made we all wished to have a mixed grill. The chef laid in the ingredients and cooked the best meal I have had for a long time. My thanks to the chef and the landlord and landlady. We will see again next Christmas.

Really really disappointed heard great things about this place. Didn’t feel like authentic Turkish can see chefs in kitchen without hats or hairnets very unhygienic, food was tiny portions and greasy sides are £8 and up really overpriced for what is delivered. Service was haphazard forgot drinks basic English wasn’t known all in all really poor experience definitely do not recommend.

Great music, Bar staff friendly and easy to get along with and always willing to go the extra mile. Food is amazing and best cocktails in Norwich.

The staff always makes you welcome and shows you to a seat and gets you a menu and are willing to answer any questions you have lovely range of meals on the menu to choose from really good value for money

Lovely food but chaos when served to us . Lovely clean restaurant . Prices reasonable. Let my daughter park outside with her small children .

We have been to this tea room on 4 occasions. We never find it open even although there is no closure notice on their website or recorded telephone ansaphone message. By the way we visit within the advertised opening hours.
