The Bull Corringham in Thurrock

Had a great evening at The Bull. Food tasted sublime, staff couldn’t do enough for our group. The service was fantastic. Highly recommended

The food is a step above you’re average pub food and the staff are really friendly. Last time I was here I left my bag behind, I came in the next day, the manager was very helpful and said one of the staff had handed in a bag. She returned my bag to me with all my personal items and cash inside. Very happy with the service

Friday evening me and my boyfriend were sitting outside in the garden just before closing time when we left and he dropped his wallet. We didn't realise until we got home. We went back but the pub was closed. When we went back the next day around 11:45 before they opened at 12 the lady working there said the cleaner handed his wallet but all his money was gone. We asked the staff to check the cameras of that evening or even that morrning before we went there but they said they can't check until after 6:00 and that we would get a call. Two days later we get no call obviously protecting their own staff knowing someone stole customers money from their wallet. I can't believe this happened seeing as we are regulars and would expect better from this pub. Don't go to a place full of thieves especially if you have items on you😡🤬

My wallet was lost in this bar I went to last night. I went there in the morning and told them that I had dropped my wallet there and they gave me my wallet but there was no money in it. There was no one else on Friday night but us. I went as soon as the shop opened in the morning and there was no one else but the employees. The cleaning lady found the wallet but there was no money in it. They did not solve my grievance. They did not look at the camera footage. They stood behind the employees, not the customers. It is a place full of thieves. I do not recommend it to anyone.

We had Sunday lunch. Good choice of meats, veggie option. Food was served hot, lots of assorted veg. Delicious. Atmosphere and service, warm and friendly. Highly recommend.

Certainly would recommend going here for Sunday Roast food was excellent. Services was very good lovely atmosphere The only thing was a problem couldn't get park next time will go later on they stop servings at 5.30

Had such a lovely meal for my birthday tonight. We were a table of 11. The service was lovely and friendly. We all enjoyed our starters and mains. Would recommend going there.

Cracking food had the tempura prawns followed by the Chicken Parma. Food came out quickly amd found the portions to be on point . Will be coming here again

Really changed since I visited over 10 years ago. Then it was a pub with a long bar and was decorated in dark colours inside. Now it is a restaurant and bar and is painted out in a lighter contemporary style. Food is excellent and really nicely prepared. Prices are very reasonable too. Will certainly revisit. Delicious lambs liver and bacon

Grandson and girl friend took us there for a meal as my husband has his 80th birthday. It was a lovely meal a perfect setting. Felt very relaxed.

Seriously good! I had the sea bass & prawns. Superbly cooked, great selection of vegetables, good service. My mum had the chicken Parma, which was equally good. Dessert lovely, too. Much attention to detail. Thoroughly recommend the place.

On arrival was told there was no beer for sale There was only one vegetarian option on the menu Season vegetables was a small bowl with broccoli carrots and about 10 small French beans between four people

Our first time at the Bull for Sunday lunch and I have to commend them on a fantastic meal 👍👍👍 the selection was excellent and the preparation and presentation was superb! Excellent food, cooked perfectly and proper portions 🤔 everything you could wish for. One suggestion! The pork belly was fabulous!! It could only be improved by crackling skin🤪🤞🤪 Well done and we will return 🤩🤩🤩

Just had a meal in here for the first time and honestly not one thing I can fault about it. Food delicious, nice friendly vibe and staff amazing. The ladies went above and beyond to make my mums 60th birthday meal perfect! Thanks ladies x

A tad disappointed with quite a few aspects of this establishment. Firstly one of our party is vegetarian, and doesn’t eat fish and the one vegetarian option the Wellington wasn’t available, we should of been told this once the menus were handed out, they did say they could do a stuffed pepper with rice. She opted for the hummus, she was upset that there was a dressing on the garnish, since when do you put dressing on a garnish! Another lady in our party ordered liver with some pink in it and not to be well done, guess what it was well done! We ordered a couple of apps to share, one was the Calamari, which was disappointing to say the least, straight out of the box in the freezer to the fryer! My wife ordered the salmon en croute special which she did enjoy as I did my main course of chicken parmigiana which was hot and tasty, my skinny chips were also hot! I ordered a coffee with cold milk and I received a foamed coffee which I did not enjoy. As with many pubs we’ve visited in England in the last month there is no following up on customers concerns/complaints let alone checking in to see how one’s food is! The waitress was, we believe, was new and was at times shaking maybe better trading is warranted!

Exceptionally good value for Sunday Roast! Great selection of veg, jug of gravy (not just drizzled on your plate) & very yummy! Definitely will visit again

We had booked a booth, they left us for ages before they bought our drinks, there was no music and it was chaos to be honest. The waitress did her very best for us but the manager was no help at all, we won't be visiting again

I ordered Sunday dinner takeaway with a desert and a baguette for later as a treat cause my kids was away, wow wow wow, it was on time stunning hot and sooo much excellent value. Plus I have still got another portion for if a family member turns up or dinner tomorrow. Vegetables was stunning absolutely would order again

Wow is all I can say! Apart from excellent value for money. On arrival you're welcomed by one of the friendly staff and shown to your table. The menu isn't massive but you will find something you like. The pub grub you get here is well prepared and presented. The only thing to look out for is the step down into the toilet, it is well marked out but I found it. Even these are spotless and are cleaned regularly Excellent service, friendly staff and good value for money. Our pary of 5 bill was £165, everyone had 3 courses and drinks. Definitely recommend this place and can't wait to visit again.

Lovely friendly family pub. The garden is exposed to lots of sunshine and there is a huge playground for the toddlers. They absolutely loved it. The food was delicious and the staff were very friendly and helpful.

Really nice food and good service. Would recommend. £50 for a great 3 course lunch for 2 including our drinks. Impressed with the hand cut chunky chips which made such a pleasant change from the frozen rubbish so many places do these days. Absolutely would recommend.👍🏻

We visited this pub on Wednesday. It had a good menu.I had the quarter pound burger and my wife had the haddock with a cheese topping.Both were above average in quality.The Doombar was off but the **61 was quite palatable and reasonably priced at £4,75.The service was slow and luckily we were in no hurry.We will be visiting again.

Another excellent lunch at The Bull. Had the roasted haddock with cheddar crust, which was very good. Wonderful chunky chips. A very nice place. Would recommend.

Very nice atmosphere. Food was good, stuffing ball was very dry as was chicken . Charged for some bread to go with a starter which was unimpressive however did get extra roast potatoes. Lost £5 deposit as one of our party of 6 didn't show. Good service

First time here and thoroughly enjoyed it. Great ambience, fabulous food and brilliant staff. Reasonably priced and good value for money. I had the roast belly of pork which was to die for . I will definitely be going back there again. Thoroughly recommended. I didn't take any pictures as food disappeared very quickly off the plate.

We had a Birthday party in the afternoon which is my Birthday of 66 year and went into the Kong afterwards for a meal , The Bull is good for meals and drinks and the staff were polite and helpful in the Bull

I booked a table for a 50th birthday a couple of weeks ago and unfortunately, a couple of days before my 50th birthday, the restaurant has cancelled on me. I asked why to which they replied that the kitchen is not open after 6 pm on a Saturday, even though they allowed me to make a reservation at this time a couple of weeks prior. I've been trying to book a new restaurant for the last couple of hours but due to short notice and a rather big group, I have had no luck. I think this is a disgrace, with family coming from over the UK and from other countries this is not a problem that I wanted to have to deal to with everything else going on. I've been to this restaurant after 6 pm before and they have served food fine. Overall, I'm disappointed with the customer service and the overall loyalty to the customers of the restaurant, and quite frankly wont be going back.

Only booked last night, staff were very helpful. Meal was excellent, friendly & pleasant atmosphere..

Visited for dinner on a Friday night around 8pm before staying for the local band that was to perform from 9pm outside. Meal was nice. Served in good time. Service was OK, but could get a feeling the staff just didn’t want to be there, but overall it did not affect the meal. We did not have any problems with the staff, nor did we feel they with us. It was later on that the staff had an affect on our experience in this evening. Around the 10:45pm, I went to purchase 2 more drinks from the main front bar. I was the only patron there at the bar at that time, and for some minutes. I made eye contact with at least 3 members of staff behind the bar, to make my presence known in the hope of being asked to take my order. But no. Had my contactless payment card in hand also to make it a bit more obvious. It was then that 2 young males approached the bar, to my right, and were seen to straight away. I let it pass, didn’t say anything. You could say they were known to the bar staff. Then another 2 of their friends arrived, and they too were then asked for their order by one of the 2 young female bar staff. Again, I kept silent as I don’t like to cause too much fuss, nor do I like confrontation, which it might have. After this an older female patron approached the bar to my left, and was immediately asked for her order by the other young female bar staff. I kept silent again, to see how it was panning out. Once the bar had cleared again, it was only then, under duress it would seem, that one of the 2 young female bar staff acknowledged me, but only when I had to ask, “excuse me, is there a problem here?” “Sorry” she replied. I said “is there a problem, as I was the first and only person here about 10 minutes ago, but you have all served others in front of me and I don’t know why; so have you got a problem with me in any way?” “No” she replied, “what do you want?” So I got my order of 2 drinks… but it left a rather sour taste in my mouth, as to why her rude tone, and what was the problem, and why they couldn’t establish a clear, fair, serving order? Maybe some customer service training is in need for these young bar staff at The Bull. It has a lot to be desired, and the service left me questioning the whole experience in the Bull, and my like good to return as a local, coupled with my likelihood to recommend this establishment to others. In fact, I was about to return a few days ago, about to pull in to the car park for a quick drink, but turned out, and went to a neighbouring pub with friends for a drink, solely based on this bad experience.

Had my son’s 10th birthday party on May 14th at The Bull Corringham. Leabey and all the staff went beyond and above helping us. We got lots of food, the place was amazing and the kids had so much fun. Thank you guys.

Very friendly and helpful in accomodating a party of 80+ ahead of a football match. Good food, lovely outside area. Range of beers could be better, as it was mainly mainstream lagers with a Doombar.

Went to the Bull on Saturday 26th March. Really nice pub. Very friendly staff. Decent beer garden with kids play area and really nice, freshly cooked food. I had slow roasted pork belly and wife had Goats cheese tart. Both were excellent. Will be returning.
