Absolutely the best food I've had in the UK. Very reasonably priced too. The ladies who own the restaurant are lovely 😍 our favourite place to eat (sometimes even a few times a week).

Amazing authentic flavoured food, we had, curried goat, brown stewed chicken, stewed beef, Mac n cheese & coleslaw, everything was so yummy and cooked perfectly, the Mac n cheese was the best I’ve had. Even my 9 year old daughter said this was the best Caribbean food she has eaten.

Been looking for an authentic Jamaican spot in Essex for 5 years and I think I found it!!!. Jerk chicken is the best I've tasted since my South London days! Oxtail was tasty and were very good portions! Wonderful ladies and owner at tropical treasures! This is now my local!

Title: Unpleasant Oxtail Experience Rating: ★☆☆☆☆ (1/5) I recently purchased food from this shop and unfortunately, the oxtail dish I received was subpar. The attached picture clearly shows hair in the oxtail, which was extremely off-putting. This experience was highly disappointing and I would not recommend dining at this establishment.

Very experienced and very professional. Food very delicious especially their jerk chicken, my partner doesn't joke with it at all. Keep it up ladies

I’ve collected food from here twice now and it’s been so tasty and fresh would definitely recommend. My first order, I ordered ackee and salt fish and some dumplings. Even though they’re not on the menu, they kindly made this for me and they were amazing. Nice and crisp on the outside and fluffy in the middle. Today I collected some more dumplings along with some jerk chicken and Mac and cheese. Both were excellent but the smoky flavour on the chicken was to die for! Plus the chicken was cut into pieces so much easier to eat. Will definitely be back soon :)

First time here, ordered dumplings with ackee and saltfish and food was on point. So tasty and fresh definitely will be going back. Thanks ladies was very delicious

Happy Anniversary! Food was banging, had the curry goat, Mac and cheese, fried chicken, coleslaw and pineapple and ginger drink, definitely hit the spot. To top it off they send some cake to celebrate their 1 year anniversary

I only ordered the sides, as I usually do when i try a new Caribbean restaurant. I always found that if they can’t get the sides right then the mains are probably trash. Was so pleasantly surprised when the sides got here and they were 10/10 can’t wait to come back another day and try even more! The pineapple and ginger juice was incredible!!! Fresh and tasty just Devine. Hope you lot are good with the customer service as well coming to see you lot next! Can’t wait 🔥🔥🔥🔥

Ordered through Uber eats and was really impressed with the Food. I normally have to go to London for Caribbean food of this quality. The Jerk Chicken is really really good and I’ll be ordering again soon.

Not just the best Caribbean food in the whole Essex, they serve the best dishes period! I recommend the coconut cake, goat curry, oxtail and rice. Try the pineapple and ginger drink as well. Remember to thank me later

First time trying their food, it was delicious, definitely my regular lunch place for my take out now.

Just visited Tropical Treasure Caribbean Restaurant in Tilbury a few minutes ago, I felt for a Caribbean meal, and trust me, I was in for a surprise. I ordered an oxtail, rice and peas with vegetables and plantains, trust me, it was like I was back in Jamaica and the meal prepared by my moms. I never could imagine a more tasty home cook meal.🤗 Customer service is a plus. Staff super friendly.

I was at Tropical Treasure at its opening and have been there 2 days since then. I must commend the chef, for proper Jamaican cuisine just like my moms use to make them in Jamaica. The curried goat the jerk chicken, oxtail n beans,potato salad, mmmhhhh, endless mouth watering dishes.,man I couldn't get enough. It was like being back home. Thank you chef and Tropical Treasure for your lovely home cooked meals 🙏

The food was amazing! The oxtail was so soft and oh so succulent! The rice was cooked to perfection! Although they did not do delivery the member of staff Terresa was amazing. She managed to accommodate my needs and find a way for my order to be delivered to me. I will definitely be ordering from here again!

Had some jerk chicken which was beautifully flavoured with a touch of spice. Coleslaw was fantastic and well portioned. My daughter loved the rice and peas, so it was lucky that we got a double portion because she was ready to eat mine! We still have ackee and saltfish to enjoy later, as well as some fresh patties. What a welcome addition to the area, will definitely revisit to try the curry goat. Not sure if they sell macaroni cheese, but I would love to try that too.

Went here for the first time day! The service was second to none, the staff are so friendly. AND THE FOOD! Huge portions and I have never tasted Caribbean food soooo sweet! 10/10

The food is mmm deliciousooo. The oxtail especially has got me hooked! The staff there are always on a good vibe! The atmosphere is warm and welcoming. I highly recommend this spot if you’re looking for proper Caribbean food.

I have always wanted a Caribbean takeaway to be near me and now it has arrived, I had to give it a taste test. It definitely did not dissapoint, I tried the jerk chicken, curry goat and oxtail meals and loved them all. Of course I'm a patty lover and have now tried the chicken, beef and fish patty and the crust/ flakiness is the best so far.

I drive lorries and was on an overnight stay over in Tilbury and decided to get some food in the town. This place was hands down one of the nicest places to go for Caribbean food. As soon as I walked in I was greeted with a smile and a big welcome. Tropical treasures does the best jerk chicken I have ever had.. it was juicy and full of flavour. I also had curried goat with rice and peas and I thought of my lunch the following day and so I got a beef pattie. All the food was very nice and will definitely visit this place again if I'm in Tilbury.
