The service we received tonight was fantastic. Both the waitstaff, male and female, made my son's birthday a really nice evening. My food was delicious, and my son's burger was great as well. However, the Taste of Mexico portion seemed quite small for the price, and the Mexican rice was just plain rice. I also found the drinks to be overpriced. Despite these issues, the overall experience was lovely. The staff was attentive, and the chocolate brownie was amazing.

Food looked good but didn’t go so well, the rice tasted microwaved, dead moth in my cup, Brazilian fried chicken was just an over fried chicken patty the cheese sauce which it boasted was drizzled on to it barely, don’t order a jug of any cocktail as it’s ice chased by whatever cocktail you’re paying £28 for and to top it off I was sick the whole next day with D and V but service was great no problems there just the food is the issue.

Had a lovely time, food was delicious, and the restaurant tidy, We had Robbie as our server who was super friendly and very attentive, even on a busy Saturday lunch, we were seated quickly even with a reservation definitely coming again 🥰

Denied entry into the restaurant just because we don’t look like the typical Friday evening crowd queuing up for a drink. Very disappointing. Couple in front of us was allowed to sit at a table after walking in, after waiting for about 2 mins. We saw vacant tables in every corner but staff (probably manager) come up to us and said they’re fully booked for the evening. Didn’t make any sense. It’s not a club so I don’t know why they’re treating it like one. Never going to any Las Iguanas again. Last place I thought I’ll be treated differently based on appearance.

We came for the all you can eat tapas deal, I believe our server was called Robson? (As on receipt) he was absolutely amazing, very friendly, talked us through his reccomendations on the tapas menu, encouraged us to try something we wouldn't have usually ordered. The food was so good and we didn't have any complaints. He was so nice and friendly and it was the best service I've gotten eating out.

Lalita bottomless brunch amazing

Food terrible, can certainly do better. Do not get the mixed grill (meat is awful) Meat has a very rubbery taste. Cocktails nice, waitress good. Shame the food is terrible

The type of place you visit every ten years to see if there has been any improvement. Has there been? Sadlly not. Bland overpriced food brought by people that would rather be anywhere else in the world.

Had a welcome meal here at the weekend. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We didn't like the table we were sitting at, so we asked to be moved. Which they did with no issues. Food was lovely and came out very quick.

Had an amazing experience at Las Iguanas Thurrock! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted warmly and made to feel incredibly welcome by all the staff. Special shoutout to Alanna, who went above and beyond to ensure we had a fantastic time. Her friendly and attentive service truly made our visit memorable. The food was delicious, the cocktails were spot on, and the atmosphere was vibrant. Can’t wait to return – highly recommend!

Overall, everything was incredible. There were 9 of us in total and we all enjoyed our meals and drinks. Our waitress, Lalita, was very friendly and attentive. Across the table, we tried many different meals and we all enjoyed our food. The only slight criticism was the speed of service at times. We waited an acceptable length of time for our starters to arrive but our main meals came as soon as we had finished eating our starters, we would have liked more of a gap between courses. Contrastingly, after ordering desserts, we waited over 1/2hr for them to arrive. As we had plans following the meal, we had to rush to finish.

I came here for my birthday bottomless brunch, it was a brilliant experience and the service was fab. Alanna served us and we had a great time.

Our 1st visit to the Mexican street food tapas bottomless experience. Nicole, who served us, explained everything, made suggestions, ensured our drinks were flowing (as we had the bottomless drinks too) and followed up with us. Robson was also v.friendly and helpful. We weren't hassled to move off the table when our 1.30mins were up for the bottomless. Such a good experience and have already recommended to friends!

Been here a few times and again we had a wonderful meal. They had a new menu as well and it didn't disappoint. The staff were brilliant, sat us down almost instantly and we didn't have a booking. Food was delicious and served promptly. Our order was accurate too which is great. I ordered a new dish called the 'Bahian Chicken Mash Up' and it was so good! Highly recommend! The only thing I will add but this is very, very, very minor. We always get churros for dessert here when we visit. They have changed their churros for a skinnier version and they are definitely not as good as the old ones. They are still nice, just not as good. Bring back the old ones please 😁

Good food, good cocktails, great service. Due to being a large group servers were very helpful with drinks orders, and served us jugs instead of single drinks so we could try all of the drinks

Bottomless brunch was excellent, service was excellent and the variety of drinks and food was excellent. Drinks were not watered down.

As always we have a wonderful time. Staff are so nice and very attentive. Nikol everytime makes us all feel so welcome and remembers us from each time we’ve come. Manager Isobella is so friendly and again remembers from our frequent visits plus remembers things we’ve talked about. Food is always tasty and plenty to choose from.

A warm welcome from the manager Izabela and table made ready on request upon arrival. The food was fantastic and arrived very quickly. The staff were all friendly, happy and cheerful. The restaurant was clean and had nice music playing with loads of seating and a nice view of the lake from the upper floor. The toilet was clean and well maintained. We were told about deals we could get through the app. A first class experience from start to end. Highly recommended. Thank you and well done. 🙏👍

Not bought anything from Las Iguanas for many years but saw some interesting dishes on the menu, so thought would give this a go. This was a home delivery order. The food was brought to us my a very polite biker. We ordered 1 Squash Caruru costing £14.50 each, as that seemed to be the spiciest item on the menu. We also ordered 2 Veggie Moqueca Costing £14.50 each. This was accompanied by Sweet Potato fries and straight cut fries. All the food came piping hot. The flavour of the Caruru as excellent as was that of the Moqueca. What is shocking however is the miniscule amount of physical food that was sent in the containers. I have attached image to show you an example. The picture is of the Squash Caruru. The food barely covers just the base of the container, 2/3s of the container is empty. The food you sent would have fitted in a container 1/3 the size. The rice with some spring onions was in a tiny container too, although tasty, , definitely too little and not worth £ 14.50 for each of the 3 meals and would have been enough to satisfy a childs appetite. Only. So this element was very disappointing.

Had a wonderful brunch on Sunday 29th 2024. Had an amazing member of staff called Allegra. If you go to lakeside definitely look out for her. She made our experience fun and memorable. Bottomless cocktails were great and kept coming. Food very tasty, 10/10! Would definitely recommend. Isabella is great! Good customer service.

I went to las iguanas with a couple of friends on a night out. We was greeted by a lovely lady named Alanna and Shane was amazing, she came over to check to make sure everything was alright and make sure we had a great time. Best service I’ve had in a long while, thankyou Alanna! 😁

I started with the signature cocktail, the "Tropical Sunset," which was a beautiful blend of rum, fresh pineapple, and a hint of lime. It was perfectly balanced, not overly sweet, and finished with a refreshing splash of soda. The presentation was stunning, served in a tall glass with a slice of pineapple and a cherry on top.

Delightful friendly staff. Food was a welcome flashback to our time in Mexico. This was pretty much as good as the genuine Mexican food we have had previously. 10/10 service from the lovely Alanna.
