Las Iguanas - Lakeside in Thurrock

Our server Gaby was so helpful and we had a wonderful evening. Food was tasty and service was quick, couldn’t ask for better!

Very disappointed by our experience. Our server was excellent and I felt really sorry for her. She was running around and trying to pacify all the diners who were getting impatient. We came in for dinner and still hadn’t received our starters an hour after ordering. The whole operation seemed to be absolutely chaotic. Despite the kitchen obviously not being able to cope, they still kept bringing new customers in. Eventually we had to ask where our food was. When it eventually came the food was fine but the whole thing had been so stressful that we didn’t enjoy it. It was a rare chance to go out with our son as he lives away and TBH this did put a dampener on the night. A shame because I have been to other Las Iguanas and really enjoyed it but the Lakeside branch needs a new manager. We will be giving this one a swerve for now.

The service was quick. Staff were very polite and accommodating. Our waitress Gaby was on the ball noticing when we needed more drinks or ready for dessert and very friendly. Food was BANGING.

We came here on a spontaneous whim to drink some cocktails and have a natter. We had many cocktails extremely cheap but not stingy at all enough alcahol to drink ratio and a massive amount of choice. Thank you to the friendly staff also and...

Came today for lunch, exceptional service and great food. The Gambas tapas is to die for, Faijitas were really delicious too. Nikol was extremely helpful and certainly made the day better.

We have just been to lakeside today and had a hard time finding a place to eat ( and it was cold) from the moment we entered we have been very warmly welcomed by Nikol, we were given a great table and the perfect dinner for two!! Food and service 100% perfect thank you for welcoming us and making us feel so warm!!

Recently visited Las Iguanas in Lakeside and had a lovely experience. We were served by Kristina who was very welcoming, professional and made us feel so comfortable. Nice night, we'll be back soon.

Bottomless drinks meant the non-drinkers also had to pay for bottomless drinks or they wouldn’t let the drinkers have bottomless drinks. They wouldn’t let the people who weren’t drinking order anything except soft drinks. For example I asked for non-alcoholic beer and coffee; wasn’t allowed either.

My experience at Las Iguanas was amazing, I came with my friend and we were greeted by the nicest server with the brightest smile. His name was Dan and he made our experience so much fun that I will definitely return.

Dan was an amazing server, he was very friendly and super helpful. The food was really good with nice portions.

We had a business meeting over lunch and the team here were very accommodating. My partner and I had arrived here much earlier than opening and Dan and Ryan let us sit and prepare and get ready for our meeting. While the meeting was happening - they were really polite and just pleasant overall and mindful. Lunch was lovely and my friends nut allergy was acknowledged and he wasn’t made to feel bad like in some places we have been to. Music was lovely and the overall atmosphere is brilliant here. Will definitely come again

Good atmosphere and value for money. The team were very friendly and attentive. The bottomless brunch is very good and the cocktails are also included in the price. We upgraded to a full main course which was delicious and a good size. The only thing I would suggest, would be having a little more option for people that can't handle spicy food.
