The Brentwood Kitchen in Brentwood

What a great venue, we were here for a birthday celebration and the place was perfect; it was a buffet style celebration with a proper party atmosphere, the food was delicious, the staff were friendly, engaging and welcoming and the night (7pm til midnight) went really smoothly with no-one waiting too long to be served. To top it off a silver charm, with huge sentimental value, was lost during the evening, 'The Kitchen' was contacted the next morning, they had found it and held on to it - so a massive thank you for that. Highly recommend the Brentwood Kitchen if you have special event to celebrate.

I booked a table for my family to have lunch at TBK and we were so glad that we did. We were greeted by smily faces, (Charlotte and Rachel) and seated promptly. The drinks arrived soon after we had ordered and then the delicious food arrived! We are a fussy bunch and I will give constructive feedback if not satisfied, however, we all thoroughly enjoyed our lunch. I feel in general, standards have slipped in so many places, but certainly not at TBK. The chicken and poached egg in my salad was cooked perfectly, as was my husband’s burger and the children’s lunch went down a treat. My littlest one couldn’t eat it all (she had french toast served with a variety of fruits and caramel and mascarpone) as the portions are generous, so I helped her out! The milkshakes are equally as divine! I’m so glad the community in Brentwood has such an atmospheric, friendly and funky establishment, that serves amazing food. Well done all the team at TBK!!

We hired Brentwood Kitchen for my sister’s surprise 40th birthday and I couldn’t recommend enough. The staff on the evening were so so helpful, the food was perfect and the event organiser Sam was really helpful from start to finish. Would highly recommend. The Venue is decorated so no need for lots of balloons etc as the decor is perfect for a party.

I've eaten here before and booked again for lunch with a friend. Made the reservation 3 weeks prior. To be told on the morning of the booking that due to a private hire being booked our reservation could no longer go ahead. We were offered an earlier slot in the day but couldn't attend this time due to other commitments. I was told there was an error in their booking system. Think this is pretty poor to be told this late notice as now we are unable to book elsewhere due to being fully booked. Surely booking reservations should be reviewed prior to the day of the booking? Been told that 'hopefully this won't happen again'...

So a little disappointed if I’m honest. This place was recommend to me by a friend and I had high hopes before arrival. So our waitress was lovely and apologetic throughout our visit which was appreciated. However, once we had ordered we waited over an hour for our food. After we had ordered the waitress made us aware they were short staffed but we had already ordered our food and drink. When the food came, my order was wrong so had to wait even longer after my mrs started eating. When my food turned up I was very disappointed. The burger was soggy with no flavour and my Mrs meal the same if not worse (dry, cold, no flavour). Now i dont mind paying good money for good food but the bill for 2 meals and 2 drinks was £40 so i expected quality and quick service which we didn't receive. Then to top it off I paid for a rice crispy square before we left and later found out I was charged £6 for which looking back now seems wrong as the lady behind the bar seemed flustered and unsure about what to charge? As you can see from the picture below there defiantly isn’t £6 worth of Rice Krispie treats.

We chose TBK to celebrate our special day and it was the best decision. The staff were amazing from the moment we booked our wedding celebrations to the day itself. They could not do enough and looked after every need. We would recommend this venue for any special occasion and we look forward to going back.

You have to go here - the food is amazing especially the breakfast burger!!! Rachel our waitress was brilliant and couldn’t do enough for us.

What a Find!!, I took my Son out for the day and we stopped bye for a spot of lunch at TBK which has amazing decor and ambiance we felt incredible comfortable. We had the eggs Benedict and florentine and Kudos to Chef as it was creamy flavourful and rich the young lady who served us was dynamic and always ready to help and made our whole experience a real joy. Overall Friendly staff. Amazing food and perfect match in quality/price. I'll come back

Wow wow wow what can I say the Brentwood kitchen exceeded both of our expectations, best vanilla latte I have ever had!! The food was superb too!! Having worked in hospitality for 25 years I can honestly say this is one of the friendliest and most welcoming places I have ever visited !! Very slow service and rude staff. I arrived with half an hour to spare before an appointment and ordered porridge and a coffee, checking when I ordered that the porridge would come quickly. The restaurant wasn’t busy. After twenty minutes the porridge arrived cold and very undercooked. The waitress wasn’t apologetic when I sent it back. It took another ten minutes to reheat it by which time I had to leave. I had to take the porridge away in a takeaway pot to my eye test appointment. No apology or refund was offered. I will not be returning.

What can I say we came here for my mother’s birthday who I’m not embarrassed to say has issues with social events but was a big day for us all but we never needed to worry after arriving we were shown to our seats by the sweetest young lady called Rachel her staff and her personality shown through and made it very special we will be coming here again for other family events thank you Rachel and thank you Brentwood Kitchen xxx

We went to TBK yesterday for brunch to celebrate my daughter and my mum in laws birthday. The staff were all very welcoming. The service was efficient and the food was lovely. When they discovered there were two people with birthdays, they brought out a chocolate brownie with a candle for each of them . I didn’t order these in advance, it was a very kind gesture. I couldn’t fault Rachael and the staff, they were all so friendly and kind.
