We hired a private area for my husband’s birthday party. Mark and Aimee went above and beyond in helping with arrangements leading up to and on the day. They were able to recommend a professional DJ (Elegance) and provide an Aperol bar and Prosecco station upon request. It was the perfect setting in the garden with friends and family (plus the family dogs 🐾). The garden bar was well staffed and the enclosed play area was perfect for the kids. The pizzas were delicious and the mezze platter and Greek salad were incredible. Everyone that attended were highly complimentary of the venue and menu and had a great time listening to the music and enjoying drinks in the sun! I would highly recommend for food/drinks or your next celebratory gathering. We will be visiting you very soon for a cold pint and lunch. Thanks again for being so hospitable and making it a special day!

Normally always friendly, with a nice beer garden and good service. Recommend for a good pint in the evenings after work. The exception is when there are any big events on, the whole place falls apart with poor service and watered down drinks

The staff are friendly and helpful. The food however leaves a bit to be desired. I had hunters chicken, it was not nice at all. No doubt the chef will argue that it was a deconstructed hunters chicken. I'm not sure that I will go back

Very welcoming pub that is also very dog friendly. The food portions are generous and a reasonable price. Would recommend that you either book or call to check that they are serving food, as sometimes they have large parties in, so can only offer drinks.

Been here many times but service tonight was very poor . No condiments on the table . Had to ask . We waited a long time for our dinner plates to be cleared . Had to go to the bar and ask them to clear them and ask for the dessert menu . One of the young waitress girls eating bowl of chips behind the bar . Very unprofessional . Surely she could have eaten these away from public view . Very disappointing .

This is our local, and we’ve had many meals here which is always 5*! We came here as a group of 14 for our Xmas gathering. The food was spot on! Everyone really enjoyed themselves! And the staff couldn’t have been better. What’s a great team! Our friends kept saying how good the service was and what a lovely pub the Brick is! Service was very friendly, but the waiter was wearing SO MUCH aftershave, you could literally taste it when he stood nearby....and for some time after! My wife's steak & kidney pudding was apparently very nice, but my gammon steak was thin, overcooked and grisly. The offered replacement of sliced ham was very cold. And to add insult to injury, the pint of O.J & lemonade turned out to be 3/4 of a pint and still cost £5. Won't be going again.

Visited here for a Monday afternoon lunch. Were persuaded by the great reviews. Sadly, they didn't measure up. The welcome was warm and genuine. The pub needs an overhaul. Seats are dirty and stained, the carpet was sticky. Food ordered and arrived really, really quickly. Ploughman's: Plentiful and pleasant enough although the cheese was rubbery and best described as "mouse-trap" with little taste. It was presented nicely though. Lamb shank & veg: Mash was cold in the middle, as was the lamb shank. The other veg was really hot. I suspect a lot of the heat came from the microwave and salamander! We decided to skip desert. So, yes, nice enough but nothing to write home about. We won't be returning.

Nice pub out of the way in a lovely village was welcomed by the young lad who was very polite along with the girl that served us,we had starter platters which were just ok, 3 out of the 4 mains were good the steak medium well was clearly charcoaled when brought up to the table and was dry and tough, to be fair it was rectified by the staff who apologised and you could tell it embarrassed how it came out, the cheesecake was really good for dessert All in all an ok meal but the 2 young staff made it upto the 4 stars we gave and reflected on the tip we gave but the food wasn’t anything special I’m sad to say it didn’t reflect on the rankings here on trip advisor

This pub is a hidden gem tucked away in a little village but what a amazing pub it is. Been visiting for about a year now and cant speak more highly about the place. The lay out is incredible with two different bar areas both always really lovely and warm with log burners in the winter and in the summer the pub just enters a league of it own with one of the best beer gardens you will see. Lovely welcoming staff and the food is all home made. The pizza oven in the garden in the warmer months takes some beating. Fantastic pub well worth a trip

Lovely, friendly pub serving great tasty food. We booked for a large party of 12 with 3 hours notice so was delighted they could accommodate us at such short notice. Staff were very welcoming and the service was efficient. The menu has a good selection, I particularly loved the homemade steak & mushroom pie. The food arrived piping hot and was very generous portions, so much so we couldn't squeeze in a dessert. We look forward to returning and this time we will definately be trying the homemade jam roly poly 😋 Thank you for a very pleasant evening in a lovely cosy atmosphere 👍

The food was not great, chicken burger at £12 was burnt and dry it came with a side salad which was limp and unappealing. I also ordered prawn sandwiches that were mainly thick cut bread with minimal filling. We were told to order quickly as the kitchen was closing and this was lunchtime at 1.45,pm! The children's play area had signs up warning of poisonous plants in the borders ! Why plant them in an area where children play!

What a great venue, we were here for a birthday celebration and the place was perfect; it was a buffet style celebration with a proper party atmosphere, the food was delicious, the staff were friendly, engaging and welcoming and the night (7pm til midnight) went really smoothly with no-one waiting too long to be served. To top it off a silver charm, with huge sentimental value, was lost during the evening, 'The Kitchen' was contacted the next morning, they had found it and held on to it - so a massive thank you for that. Highly recommend the Brentwood Kitchen if you have special event to celebrate.

Its a modern bar/restaurant with an area outside for eating too with free parking. The staff are very friendly and the service was attentive the whole evening. The Asian menu offers main meals or tapas with the best of ingredients used.

Had a Sunday roast at this venue, all fresh vegetables, home made Yorkshire pudding I found that the vegetables wasn't seasoned, personally I don't like to add salt to my dinner but today I had to to add salt to give it taste, even the roast potatoes were bland, probably maris pipers which are not the best for roast potatoes, good size dinner
