The best restaurants in East of England

Lovely family run restaurant I say that as it feels like it. Staff friendly and efficient in their service. Must pre book as space is small. But didn't feel cramped in. A good selection of choices for a restaurant of their size

We were made to feel welcome the minute we arrived, I had informed the staff I was vegan beforehand and to my delight they had put aside a vegan nut roast for me as they were running out. Food excellent, one roast beef cooked beautifully, my nut roast was perfect, good vegetable selection, roast potatoes and good portions too. Lovely food, staff and pub - we will be back! Amanda

I have driven past this place for years and am now kicking myself that I haven't visited sooner! What a great little cafe! Delicious food, quality ingredients and lovely service. No frills, no fuss, just a proper, good old fashioned British cafe. Can't wait to visit again soon!

Lovely fish & chips, the right size portions for us. The staff are so friendly and helpful.

The service and atmosphere was great and it looked so cute. The food however, maybe it was an off day for the chef team but it was quite sab-par and my pasta, the tomato sauce one, felt reheated. gnocchi, felt it was store bought and they were kinda cold. Again, it might have been something off with the kitchen but we had high expectations from the team and how the food looked.

Popped in for the first time in ages. It has been very nicely redecorated since I was last there. We had two adult meals and two child meals. They were a perfect size, freshly cooked, and the whole meal was excellent value for money. If you are in town, skip Spoons and head here instead. Will certainly be back.

We visited for the first time today, New Years Day. Lovely atmosphere and fab interior. Food was delicious. 😋

We were new to this lovely restaurant, upon arrival the staff were friendly, there was a nice atmosphere. The traditional food that came out of that kitchen was delicious! Everything we ordered was so good, the Tom Yum Prawn Soup was absolutely spot on.

Just little shame on burger having little bit of cheese as can’t have cheese near me but apart from that was lovely food

Had cod and chips, and a sausage for the dog. Cooked lovely, wasn't busy. Used take away.
