One of the best places to eat in Hitchin. The food is brilliant, tastes amazing.

Came here for lunch after a recommendation. How did I miss this place?! One of Hitchin’s gems for getting a great hot lunch. I had the chicken bibimbap with rice, it was great.

I've eaten here quite a few times now, and I absolutely love it. The food is such great value for money. Always happy with the quality and quick prep. Would highly recommend trying out.

This is run by Chinese. When I went I talked to them in Korean and they didn’t know a word I was saying and talked to each other in Chinese. Food was just ok. Bibimbab is not a typical Korean style but decent. Tteobokki was terrible! The most watery tasteless Tteobokki ever. Popcorn chicken was so dry and hard.

Absolutely delicious had the pork dumplings and beef noodles. Both incredibly tasty. Not my last time for sure 👍🏼

I’m super pleased with their bibimbap, I’ve tried them all but the ramen with pork together with their delicious chicken popcorn 👌🏼 as a starter I can highly recommend tteobokki soup

more Chinese food than Korean - was not as good as reviews suggested. Popcorn chicken was the driest thing on the planet covered in a sweet sauce. However great and cheap place to go to to get dumplings. Overall it was cheap enough to make me forget how mediocre the food was.

I used to get food here last year and it was ok. Got the popcorn Chicken last week and today. It was absolutely disgusting. It was 10% Chicken and 90% batter and sweet and sour sauce. It was like eating a desert. They are trying to save money and using less Chicken and the results are horrendous.

Very limited menu but good food

We first visited here over 2 years ago and it was a pleasant experience and nice to have “Korean style” food as an option in hitchin. However, fast forward several years and don’t know what’s happened to the lady that owns the place and serves at the front. Rude, as if the world owes her something - I understand you can go through hard times and running a business isn’t easy - but consistently taking it out on your customers when all they’re doing is placing an order is not acceptable. On top of this - the food has gone downhill, soggy bao buns (half of them were drenched in water and inedible), gimbap was rolled so roughly and fell apart. Meat inside was so dry. Honestly wouldn’t go again and it’s just such a shame.

Extremely rude staff and the food does not make up for it. The lady serving me was EXTREMELY rude and impatient. When I placed my order she did not hear me properly and shouted at me/rolled her eyes, as if it was my fault that she couldn’t comprehend my simple order. She is an extremely angry and unpleasant person and this alone is a reason not to go here again. If that wasn’t bad enough though, the food was poor; soggy bao buns, limited meat in the popcorn chicken and gimbap was falling apart. This is NOT authentic Korean food!

All I can say is wow, amazing food

The food is amazing and great value. I ordered recently, popped to a shop for 2mins while my food was prepared. I forgot all about it and went home. When I went back they really kindly offered to remake my food for me even though it was entirely my fault. Excellent service, I really appreciate it.

The food is ok. But the the lady selling is so rude! Her face looks so angry. When she asks what we want she was so angry!!!!!!! I mean you are not supposed to be so mean when you are askingn customer what they want... stressful to order!

If you like authentic Korean food, do not buy from here. Its not owned by Korean's . I orderd the Bipbap and Kimbap. The Bipbap wasnt to bad, but the kimbap and dumplings had this greesy sauce on them and it smelled horrid. If you want proper Korean food go to Cambridge.

This is "Korean style" food as far as I can tell. I wanted Kimchi which they did not have but I would have ordered some dumplings if the service from the lady serving wasn't quite so terrible. The bibimbap is offered with noodles which I found strange. My server looked at me as if I was bonkers for not specifying rice rather than noodles (doesn't it literally mean mixed rice!!??). Chicken was poor quality, sauce was ok but the accompaniments were pretty good. The atmosphere is non-existent since it is a very small cafe with a couple of small tables crammed in. So I took out to eat at home. It's good Hitchin has a Korean place but it probably needs some more authentic ones to create competition and improve standards. Until then this punter will be in London for Korean fixes.

Not authentic but nice to see Korean 'style' in Hitchin for a change. run by Chinese owners (as common place outside of London nowadays). The ttobokki was not authentic, was a watery sauce with mushrooms in and packet rice cakes (Chinese style). Don't feel real Gojujang was used, only red pepper flakes. 'Korean style' chicken was more Chinese style again, very (sickly)sweet and sticky, hardly any meat and chewy. Kimchi was overly salty and did not taste fermented, was quite mushy and not crunchy at all (didn't taste fresh). Lacking shrimp taste also. Beef kimbap however was delicious and very filling. I would recommend next time saving your money and just going for this. Rice inside was warm and fresh and beef had a wonderful taste and sear. Crunchy vegetables and pickels inside. Shop is very tiny and hardly any room to sit. Better as a take out spot. Tables and floor wasn't super clean (hygiene rating on window was 3/5). Owner very pleasant and friendly. Would go again if in the area for their kimbap only. However if you are looking for authentic Korean food, it's definitely worth trekking to New Malden in South London instead!

Some of the best price/quality/quantity ratio. Service is really good too, and super quick.

I think this was the first Korean takeaway I've had and I will be going again as think fantastic value for money. We had the bibimbap and bao buns. I'd recommend them both, the bibimbap is spicy (which hadn't realised) a nice heat for me but may be hot for some. Another great little find!

After South Korea's successful win against Portugal in the World Cup, Korea was front of mind ... so we ordered some beef bibimbap, dumplings & popcorn chicken. Good-sized bibimbap portions with a slight welcome "kick" to it too. Easy to use website & a friendly delivery person so will definitely be using again :)

Visited for a take away for a family of 4. Lady on the counter was so rude and nasty when I asked her what a particular side dish was. I said I don’t have much knowledge of Korean food. I was polite and said please and thank you when she was serving me. She snatched the money off of me. She made me feel like I was a major inconvenience of taking my order that took all of 2 mins… .She then proceeded to talk in Korean with the rest of the staff who were looking over at me whilst making my food. The pork dumplings were stuck completely to the bottom of the tray when I got home, hardly any sauce was put on them. The pork noodle dish was ok but I’m not sure if return due to the disgusting attitude of this person serving… don’t know why anyone would go there…

As a regular who happens to work in town, I often go there for lunch breaks and as nice as the food can be, I don't particularly find the lady who regularly works behind the till polite or nice at all.. infact she comes across VERY rude and obnoxious and rolls her eyes anytime you ask anything. Sadly I think due to this being a reacurring behaviour to paying customers, I will not be going there anymore. I hope the lady reads this and learn's a thing or two about being customer friendly and polite!!😡😡

Delicious and authentic Korean cuisine. All dishes we ordered were great, the ingredients were fresh and good quality. Good portion size. Perfect delivery service arriving exactly at scheduled time. Took me back to my recent visit to 대구시. Highly recommended.

We absolutely love this place. We eat here all the time. Great if you can't be bothered to cook. Never greasy and always fresh. Massive fan of the bibimbap and popcorn chicken. All the dumplings are also amazing.

Amazing! I was told their food was delicious but I didn’t believe it until I tried it. We had one chicken Bibimbap and one beef Bibimbap with noodles and dumplings… We loved it everything we ordered, look forward to trying other dishes from the menu. Will definitely recommend this place to friends and family Also love their food containers very eco friendly unlike most takeout.

Super tasty! Amazing vegan options and my partner really loved the meat options. Tofu pockets were divine and vegetable dumplings were great too. Overall very happy and will defo be ordering again :)

Kimchi is very salty ! and tteokbokki is just no flavor it should be sweet and sour but tastes just sour. Only popcorn chicken was nice from the order. I was so happy finally have Korean food around here but was disappointed

Kimbap didnt stay together, labelled incorrectly as sushi roll and flavour average, korean popcorn chicken average, I can make both better in a faster time.

Its kind of a little hidden as its all the way up the street but its worth discovering as the food is tasty. Small menu but what it has is good.

Very quick and friendly service. Bibimbap and bao buns were pretty good. The veggie dumplings were sadly a bit tasteless and the popcorn chicken was dry - the Korean fried chicken I've had in the past is usually quite moist with lots of white meat, but it reminded me more of Chinese mystery meat from Chinese takeaways. I'll happily order the good items again though - it's great to have a local Korean takeaway.

Nice and quick service, the menu isn't convoluted and just has a handful of choices which I appreciated, straight to the point. Most important, the meal was fab!!!

Kim Chi is an absolute gem! We've had food from there a few times and every time the food was excellent and the staff is friendly! This place is another example of the fantastic food scene in Hitchin!

Went for take away lunch with friends for the first time after hearing lots of positive reviews. We ordered pork bao buns and bimimbap and Kim chi. It was a 15 min wait for the food but absolutely delicious and we can't wait to return.

This tiny Korean takeaway is a hidden gem. Only a restricted menu (always a good sign) but what they do, they do exceedingly well. Very tasty, affordable dishes include delicious pork dumplings and bibimbap, and their kimchi is absolutely superb. Definitely one of the, if not the best value for money eateries in Hitchin.

Never been disappointed. Love this place and I eat here fairly often. Everything on the menu is fantastic; it’s all very reasonably priced, and very filling! Not so great if you’re in a rush but I’m so glad we now have great Korean food in Hitchin!

I was missing Korean restaurants in London and the bibimbap absolutely hit the spot. The dumplings were also fantastic.

Ordered home delivery from here tonight and the food was superb! We had beef bibimbap with rice, popcorn chicken, vegetable dumplings and house kimchi (which was especially good!) Will 100% order from here again, it was delicious

This is one of my favourite places to get food in Hitchin. There isn’t a massive menu but the quality is amazing. I’m salivating just thinking about it. Highly recommend the popcorn chicken and the tteokbokki!

Really, really delicious, filling food. Lots of great options. But you must try the bibimbap and popcorn chicken - wow. Eco friendly take out boxes too is a bonus.

Tasty, fast Korean food with vegan options! I love the shiitake mushroom bibimbap. Last time we went they gave us a free sample of tteokbokki soup which was delicious.

Have walked passed this place a couple of times before but so pleased I went in and gave it a try this time. The food was awesome and portion size spot on. The place was clean and staff attentive and friendly. Never had Korean food before but will definitely be popping in again. Would highly recommend.

Best authentic tasting Korean dishes I’ve had in a long time. Ever since my return from Seoul I’ve made my own Korean food but I was so surprised to see a Korean Café pop up in my town and can vouch with 100% certainty that their food is very true to how it should taste, and their Kimchi Chicken Popcorn makes me feel actually nostalgic. Dumplings and Bibimbap are excellent too!! I’ll be ordering from them every week now. 감사합니다 💕

Drove past the shop and rather surprised to see a new start up at this unpresented times Curious about how Korean cuisine tastes like as never had it before Here's what I think I tried the Chicken Bimbimbab and it was lovely I also had the Pork dumpling and I liked it It fact I enjoyed my meal that much I ordered Kimbab and a Korean sandwich to take home for my family to try Needless to say they all loved it I'm planning to go again this Saturday with the whole gang See you guys there

Went in for lunch today and had a tasty chicken and kimchi roll and some chicken dumplings. The dumplings were so delicious I would definitely recommend eating here. I will definitely be back, great prices and even better food.

Delicious bimbimbap. We had the chicken and the beef, both were top notch. Chilli sauce and kimchi were tasty. Very reasonably priced too.
