Rahmon is an excellent business owner and very welcoming! the lamb samosas are some of the best ive had in the uk and the different curries are delicious . The stand out for me was the peshwari naan it was so good i went back again the next day just to have it again its sweet and soft almost like a desert . Highly recommend this place, the onion baajis are excellent and crisp perfect size . i will be back to try your tandoori skewers and other dishes that rahmon recommends and ofcourse to once again eat that delicious peshwari naan

that was disgusting.!!!!. The chicken masala..was watery and no flavour at all..the onion bahjii was tasteless disc...not spherical and not cooked properly in the middle...it was greasy and i spent nearly £50..and thats a 4.7 rating? do not waste your money

Had a just eat tonight, food was Ok. The madras was quite watery and not much chicken. We also had a Korma and Tikka masala which were ok. We will try others before coming back.

My egg rice never come food was cold had to bin it

Our order was late and when I opened it up I was missing 2 items. I rang them and told them the bits were missing and was told they're on their way. They didn't even have time to write anything down and didn't get my address. I order from here fairly regularly and if they're busy they're busy, but I paid online and I don't believe I will get my missing food.

The actual food was lovely but it arrived fairly cold & the mango chutney was runny!!

Lamb tikka biryani was bland, had hardly any meat and what was in there was chewy and grisly, no spice flavours, and veg curry accompaniment was watery and also had no flavour. Aubergine bhaji was salty, and Keema naan just blah. Won't be ordering from here again. It used to be a great takeaway but it's really gone downhill. On the plus side, it was hot and delivered early but that doesn't make up for how disappointing the standard of the food was.

First time using this restaurant. I was very pleased with my meal, The Special Pilau Rice and the Tandoori Half Chicken was on point with flavour with added touch of salad and Pomppadom, was delightful. Excellent portion. Would use again. Thank you.

Never had problems before. Meal came cold, just before close almost 2 hours from order and ended up in hospital with bad food poisoning.

I am usually very happy with my meal that I receive From Royston tandoori but this time this was not the case The poppdums were not fresh and tasted awful The king prawn puree tasted bitter and prawns were only a couple Overall not a very good experience

This was my first order, first thing, really easy to use website, so easy ordering plus a text to say food on the way. Second they take PayPal so that’s easy as well! Delivered early, food very good and baking hot. Portion size generous! I would recommend.

Food was extremely late, tikka masala was quite bland, but everything else was nice! They were polite enough on the phone when calling regarding the no show delivery, they then turned up another 15 mins later.

Ordered from here last night and it was delivered quicker than advertised, but with my mixed grill missing! I called up and said it was missed and was met with a very polite and professional man that apologised and they sent out another within 20mins, everything was hot when delivered and was delicious, they even gave me a complimentary naan and papadum’s!! Everyone is human, would definitely use them again, thanks guys!!

Delicious food but was quite cold as was over an hour late despite multiple calls to restaurant

Ordered tonight when they opened at 5, was advised take away would be within the hour. Hour later no takeaways called and was told driver was on its way had 4 drop offs to do all in the same area! 25mins late still no food! Called again was told he couldn’t get through to driver but would be there soon! Pointed out wouldnt food be cold if driver has been out now for 25mins plus! Was advised they use good bags!! Another 15mins later still no food!! Called again and was told to open my door he was outside!! Said I have got my door open nobody is there!! Gave address again advised they have delivered to js many of times! He kept telling me to open my door!! Really nobody is there! Then told me that there short of drivers and this was a new driver so my husband walked down the road man on the phone wanted to to go, but I wouldn’t until we had sorted eventually found driver down the road! Food was stone cold! Told the man on the phone for him to tell me it’s not cold!!! Not sure how he could tell from down the phone! But assured him that my husband was getting the food out the bag and it’s cold! He said oh next time you order tell me and I will do something! No I want some money off he refused and even had the cheek to say well give the food back and release! My driver as we’re very busy!! Safe to say we will not be going back! Was starving so after all that time had to pay and eat and really wish we had given it back as it was disgusting!! Tasteless, cold, looked like it had been sitting there all day!

Food was 45mins late, didn’t get the ‘update’ text as requested through the app, he called to ask where I lived (saying the wrong road) and so I assumed he was right near but then said he’d be another 5 minutes & the 1 comment I left on the delivery request was to knock as we have a sleeping baby yet he rang the bell anyway and although the food was still warm, the lamb was tough, as if it had been kept hot for too long. So disappointed.

Ordered takeaway tonight with my family - I’m vegan and the options available all sounded lovely. I had the kofta roshuni- vegetable (pakora-type vegetable balls in sauce) with chilli and garlic rice, with chapatis. Everything was delicious and when placing the order, the staff were helpful in confirming everything I was ordering was definitely vegan. Would thoroughly recommend! My non-vegan family all thoroughly enjoyed their food as well.

Was recommended this place by a friend. Easy to order online and very friendly delivery bloke. The food was good... very good. My daughter thoroughly enjoyed a korma and my madras was bloody lovely. I got little bursts of coriander and other little hits of spice. The naan was as good as any I ate in India. Will be using again for sure.

The restaurant food was absolutely pathetic. I dont think i have ever eating food let alone Indian food so bad. The curry which was suppose to be spicy was so sweet that we couldn't eating more than a bite. The paneer was also not fresh. The parata was uncooked. The restaurant should simply remove 'Indian' cuisine from its name

Took 3 hours to be delivered, couldn’t get through on the phone line either engaged or just rang on for ages. When the food eventually arrived it was luke warm and without a microwave we couldn’t reheat it. Was a race to eat everything before it was stone cold. Will not be ordering again.

We have been ordering from Royston Tandoori regularly since March and have never been disappointed. Great food, great service and only a little late on the odd occasion.

Curry was soo soo oily we had to spoon off the oil! One of the vegetable samosas had practically a WHOLE chilli in it... seedS and all, could hardly breathe when I bit in and swallowed the first and only bite... have them been up all night feeling horrendous! Have taken a photo of the samosa and how much chilli and seeds were inside... almost feels like it was a joke and we were the unlucky ones who got it! Such a let down on what was our ‘treat’ dinner 😩
