i never usually leave reviews on anything but this is the best fish n chips/kebab ive ever had. the food is absolutely delicious and cooked fresh, the owner/cook is really kind, and the prices are really reasonable and the portions are huge. i dont think anything will top this place for me honestly :)

Fish cooked fresh, chips were lovely and side's were nice. We were a party of six staying in the area overnight and all impressed with quality of food. I had Haddock, another person had Rock and the rest cod. All really nice, and deserves the good reviews. Also reasonably priced and huge portions.

A wonderful experience! The food was awesome! Fish and chips were nice and crispy, not greasy at all! The service was great...owner was very pleasant and friendly...place was very very clean...had to go back next day to make sure food was as good as I thought .. yep awesome!!!

First visit, not the last. Earnies is a small and unassuming fish and chip shop, but wow! A very friendly welcome, a bit of a wait while everything was cooked fresh. The result was some of the nicest chips and doner kebab I have had in a really long time. Don't be fooled by the slightly dated appearance, Earnies is a proper tasty little chippy.

Good value and above all made fresh.

Ernie's is the best takeaway around these parts. Friendly services and quick to order.

Given it two stars because lots of chips. Apart from that nothing to recommend apart from the price! Fish batter tasted strange(maybe old frying fat) and the chips went hard for some reason as they got cold. Not an experience l will be trying again.

I live in Great Yarmouth, visited an elderly friend today in Brandon , had takeaway cod and chips for 4, lunch time offer, less than £20. Cooked to perfection, after we arrived. Fish was fresh, batter spot on and real cut chips . Best fish and chips I've had for a long time. PS. Service and cleanliness was also first class. Lucky Brandon !!!!

Had dinner here the other day with family, dad had rock and chips rare to see that now, I had cod and chips and niece had homemade chicken burger and chips had to wait 15 mins but was well worth the wait was unreal! Would recommend to anyone

The food was prepared freshly and was extremely tasty. The staff were excellent, very friendly and seemed to appreciate your custom. The fish was of good quality and the chips not remotely greasy. Very fair price and a very good fish and chip shop that also offers many other options, Kebabs etc. Very good and recommended. I visited in May but forgot to review until now.

We have gotten takeaway from Ernie's on several occasions. This small chippy on the London road has some nice fish, and offers a decent veggie burger. For a while now they have offered really reasonable lunch time deals on fish and chips as well. Parking is a but of a hassle, as there is no parking on the street (though occasionally people will and block traffic). So the only real option is to park in the Tesco car park opposite and cross the fairly busy street. We have found that it pays to ring ahead, or the make occasional check as to Ernie's holiday plans (which they are good at posting in advance) as they do close down as a small business when away. That said it is rare. Our most recent visit was veggie burger, and chips, both of which were tasty and well prepared.

Was originally a fish and chip shop still is, with the fishand chips one of the best in the town. However it also does kebabs, Pies, Burgers, all whilst I have been waiting for my meal are attractive and look good. Service is excellent and the guy who cooks, he could be Ernie I dont know but he knows his stuff. A good take away

Stunning fish and chips best fish and chips in Brandon cooked to order have at least once a week and perfect every time and Ernie is very polite and friendly and a character in his own right I fully indorse going here

A good quality fish and chip shop serving superb fish that is skinned and fried in a light and crispy batter, I always phone and place my order and its just coming out of the fryer when I arrive to collect it superb!! & Ernie is very friendly too
