Great hot food for breakfast Staff helpful

Lovely meal today at the new mcdonalds in bury near rougham. Couldnt fault it and Levi was very helpful.

I always come through here and they always mess up my order and end up over paying when theres 3 of my food. Its reocurring not sure why these people are still employed. You can’t even call or get a hold of someone on this store.

As others have stated, this place has gone downhill and is best avoided. It used to be great but now you are lucky if they get your order correct and whatever you order will be cold.

Popped by here with my partner for lunch , mind it wasn’t a big order at all. Share box of mozzarella sticks, couple veggie dippers and a latte . We used the drive thru and was told to wait in a parking bay for our food. 30 minutes later our food still had not come, car after car in front of us had their food before us, even though they had ordered after which is fair enough, but they clearly had bigger orders which we found odd because we still was waiting. So I went inside to get ignored by staff, I complained and all I got was a mumble from one of the staff. He said they were still finishing the breakfast although it was 11:45 by this point! No help at all! So we approached another staff member to see where our food is , to find out our food hasn’t even been cooked yet! But they made our latte and left out to go cold! We finally got our food which we had to tell them to make after almost an hour wait. Latte still cold.. Manager said he’d given us a large latte for the inconvenience for the cup to still be half full! Waste of money and our time. Worst McDonalds I’ve ever been too. 👎👎👎

Utterly abysmal today . Waited 10 minutes to order at drive thru . Asked for a WOD only to be told no wraps available as they had run out of tortillas . Paid and drove round to collect order - my Fanta no ice was served to me with ice so was sent back . I then had to park in bay 1 for another 15 minutes as food not ready. Food eventually came out - chips had been thrown into bag upside down and they had forgotten to add the dip . I had to send it all back to be repacked . They used to be so efficient but on the last two visits they have been utterly incompetent ! I think they are now vying with Thetford as to who can be the most useless .

Good food, good quality. But it was too quiet inside... no usual buzz. Staff looked more like robots than people.

It's a McDonalds. What else can I say? The food was okay, the location is usual services type of affair, I cannot comment further, only that it served it's purpose.

Fresh chips and chicken nuggets this time

Quick visit for a family lunch, usual service via the touch screen. The order was delivered quickly and everything was correct. the chips weren't quite as hot as the best places but otherwise it was all good

They get worse week by week.not just this 1. Food is cold,missing order. The only thing you you can guarantee is they will screw your order up. Going in or drive through.its amazing how they forget things in your order but never over full it. The food is bad for you big time.

None else at the restaurant, literally 0 other orders, and it takes 15 minutes to make single order (of a burger fries drink), in the end got a refund and left after 20min...

Best coffee, value offers, friendly staff, local and convenient, problems using the app.

Orders generally come wrong check them the food is never hot just sits inside while other orders bulk up.

As usual, had to wait for the food, McDonalds isn't fast food anymore! Lol

This McDonald's is pretty consistent. Their Ice cream machine breaks all the time though.

Never been here before and the queues on a friday evening were pretty large. Quite slow to get the order placed and picked up but the staff were friendly and actually the order which was customised was correct when picked up. Overall a decent Mcdonalds

Once just once it would be nice to get what I actually ordered! How difficult is it when the staff types in my order only to mess it up.

Busy place, staff over stretched, went on friday of the BH weekend and waited 20mins for 2 cheeseburgers, wont bother again.

I was hung over and it nailed what it was meant to. Shared the nuggets with my dog. So Sue me. He loved it. I loved it. I loved it that he loved it

absolutely atrocious not impressed and now boycotting McDonald's i waited 35 minutes for a mayo chicken burger and this is my second bad experience in McDonald's of the day. Yes, I had mc donald's for breakfast in which I waited 25 minutes this morning don't worry it wasn't the same McDonald's and I will be complaining about that restaurant too. Also, the burger looked awful. Nothing like the adverts.

This McDonald's is the worst one in the area by far. If your travelling on the A11, go to Thetford. We have visited twice in recent times and both times parts of our order was missing, and the food was cold. Service takes forever, it's easier to eat your cold food than have some made fresh. When I say parts of the food I mean key parts, such as the burger that the meal is named after. I've never reviewed a McDonald's before, why would I, but this experience was so atrocious it had to be shared.

I wouldn’t normally review a McDonald’s…… why would you. One is the same as another. Not here, our experience was terrible. Was greeted with only 3 of 6 ordering screens working so it was busy. No milkshakes available which is fairly common for McDonald’s anyway. No receipts available from the ordering screen which I needed. No ketchup available in the dispensers as was empty. All food arrived cold, literally cold! Before leaving I took my little boy to the loo, only one of the urinals working so another queue and not smelling great. Maybe just a bad day for this location but nothing was going right that’s for sure. Terrible experience and wish we’d have kept travelling to the next one.

so I had a big order (5 People). for this reason I went to the desk to speak with a staff member as I thought this would be easier than trying to use the machine which I do not use a lot. I had to go through the order 4 times to get it right, then when I got the food all the chips were missing and one of the drinks. this took me 20min to order and I gave up in the end leaving all the chips and drink. very disappointed. My colleague went back the next day and had the same experience but did get the order in full (in the end).

This site is one of the most expensive, site's in sea-side resorts are cheaper.

You can never fail with a ‘Maccy D’, no matter where you go, you know what you’re getting and what to expect. Also the Big Mac special deals - you never put bacon in your Big Mac do you? What were you thinking man? The classics are designed not to be interfered with 👍👍👍

We use the five ways restaurant at least one a week and although it's great normally also we use the app and find it very easy to use but the last 2 times we have been to the restaurant it's been at night and the service say temporarily out of service so use the app through the drive through the first time they missed my wife's double bacon cheese burger and the second time they gave her a plain burger both times we had to queue up in the drive through traffic which by the time the other food was cold or melted we requested the whole order be be replaced and to the credit of the management they did

We stopped at this MacDonalds on the way to Great Yarmouth. Plenty of parking but was pretty busy. Ordering was straight forward. Order arrived to our table very quickly. Restaurant and tables were clean and staff constantly maintaining the standards. Toilets were clean. Staff all very friendly and polite. For out quick pit stop this MacD was spot on.

You always know what you are going to get from McDonald's, the food is always consistent as is the good customer service.

I ordered something they given something 1 burger is missing and one they given mayo chicken I ordered triple cheeseburger this is ridiculous

The McDonald's is well run but it does get incredibly busy and there is limited seating and not really anywhere nearby to sit and eat other than the car park.

I could see how hard the staff were ‘trying’ to work. But seems like every system they used didn’t work. Is there a system In place? Calling numbers in order??? Waited 50 minutes in a crowd for my food, calling orders 45 before 9? How is this even possible!! Asked about my order and told to ‘wait’ wait for what? My order had been lost or forgotten because my friends (orders 8&11) both had there food for at least 20 minutes!! and it wasn’t until I had pointed this out that my order was clearly lost, my receipt was snatched out of my hand and my food was done in 3 minutes. I get to the car and my cheese bites were missing, and I am sorry but the biggest disappointment was my box of nine nuggets was eight. Hats of to the staff for giving it a go, but it was absolute chaos.

Worst McDonald's I've ever been too. Had to park up after going through the Drive Thru and waited 15 minutes before they bought the food over. Everything was cold and we were missing a chocolate milkshake. Had to go inside and was told they had no chocolate milkshake. Ordered vanilla and got 3/4 of a cup full. No apologies. Not worth complaining as you get fobbed off with a 10% discount code

Waited 30 mins for food this morning when asked how much longer a very rude girl called Poppt said 59 seconds which is less than a minute then shook her head The duty manager was outside smoking in which I made my complaint too Mc Donald's what on earth these people let you down

The staff at McDonalds Fiveways Barton Mills were Excelent today helping me order as your order screens no longer wirk the way they should we enjoyed our meal

My recent visit was, without a doubt, the worst service I have ever encountered. The entire experience was a disgrace from start to finish. Firstly, I waited for an excruciating 25 minutes in the designated bay. Only then was I informed that my order had been refunded and cancelled because they run out of McPlant. This was not only incredibly frustrating but also a complete waste of my time. Secondly, the shift manager's behavior was utterly unacceptable. This individual displayed absolutely no customer service skills. There was no apology for the inconvenience caused. Furthermore, the language used was shockingly inappropriate for any place that deals with the public. In summary, my experience at this was nothing short of awful. The lack of professionalism and basic courtesy was astounding. I would strongly advise anyone to steer clear of this place.

Ordered a double quarter pounder and was given a single patty but charged full price! Ordered two large meals also which came with half filled fries. Nice crew but wish there was more effort in presentation and care. Not happy I was charged full price for half the food

They missed one order and we had to go inside to get it, we asked for sauces and one bbq sauce was given. No straws were given with the 9 drinks we ordered and 2 birthday donuts an garlic bread cheese dippers were missing from one of my orders and the wrong drink given on another of the 4 orders. If you try to phone this number it goes to a vodaphone voicemail too which is strange too. And to top it all there was a big piece of bad lettuce in my double big mac. And the double big mac we ordered 2 of them, all the burgers were really dry. Shocking service and have left a voicemail too. I also have to say that every time I have been to this McDonalds they have got my order wrong in some way. Whoever manages this franchise needs a lot of customer service and staff training and also to learn to respond to complaints instead of ignoring them. Avoid this Mcdonalds at all costs

Not a bad place to stop. They always forget the hashbrowns, but it's pretty reliable

went there for the first time, I got a wrong drink and my boyfriend's burger was missing half of the ingredients (literally, instead of 2 patties he had just one, didn't get a single onion or tomato in his hat trick burger) and on top of that we waited over 15 minutes for it. Today we thought we will give it another shot, and although the line went pretty quick, we got the bag with the receipt with our order, but in the bag instead of our order (mc crispy bbq steakhouse with fries and double big mac with bacon and fries) there was mayo sandwich and 5 piece chicken with fries. It was covered with napkins (and for some reason additional straws?) so all I did was look at the receipt to let my boyfriend know we can go and not stop the line anymore. I get it's a lot of work but it doesn't really excuse it. Just keep in mind to check your bag before driving off, which I feel like it should be something done by an employee and not the customer. Make sure to take your time with it and not drive off until you get your order.

Had to take cappuccino back, long lines, dirty tables. All in all pretty unpleasant.

Friendly staff, very clean. McDonald's innit. 😃 Been driving out this way about once a month for about a year. Just visited again. Still every bit as good here. Quite happily call in every time I'm driving past. I think the phrase is, I'm lovin' it?

Only went in for directions to burger king

Expect going through the dinner rushes to have something messed up with your order. Tonight I had the poor runner go back twice for drinks, just to find I had the wrong food after leaving.

When they get it right it's great, don't like being rushed at the order screen when in drive through. Constantly asking " anything else" after every item I ask for

forgot the chips, 1 straw between two drinks and told I shouldn't give them out when I went back to ask for one!!! saving the planet come down to sharing straws now!! watched others go back and request there missing chips as well

Ordered a cheeseburger meal. Cheeseburger looked like they had played football with it before serving it and the fries were luke warm and inedible. This is my second visit here in the last few months and both times the food has been awful. This will be my last visit!

Good food and good staff, very quick and easy, kids enjoyed it

The building is very nice and modern. It's the best McDonald's I have been to looks wise.The hot chocolate was good, but one of my friends had a hot chocolate that was just full of water, with no cream on top. The staff were very welcoming at the door, greeted me with a good morning and made me feel really welcome. I loved it.

Quick stop off, ordered on the App to collect in store. Food lovely & hot for once & the coffees tasted of coffee too. Thoroughly value for money.

Leave it to a McDonalds to get your order wrong. Ordered a milkshake got coffee. Very odd mix up not even close mcdonalds not even close. Not once but twice, bothered to give me my sauces, but not the nuggets. And somehow managed to even give me the wrong burger. 0/5 service

Grisly disgusting patty that was obviously not Mc Donald meat, more like burger van garbage. Fries were so bad I couldn't eat them, that says a lot. Had to wait ages for it all as well.

Visited the last 8 times and. 7 of been told they can’t do milkshakes and the last t Time was the machines can’t cope as they get too hot that must apply to 11 pm as Well then if they have a problem with the machines you would of thought that they would get it sorted just love stupid excuses

Terrible service waiting for 20 minutes in queue at 12:55 to find out no milkshakes again....

This location had fallen into the trap of slaming through as many people as they can through the drive through, and then making you wait in the parking bay for 25-40 minutes. Every.bloody.time. It is not fast. It's hardly ever hot, I don't know why I bother anymore.
