Wrong order, waited 15 mins for them to remake a egg and cheese muffin?? Wrap had no ketchup in. Would no recommend just go to thetford McDonald’s.

If you go through the drive-thru, check your bags, because they're not. I can list on one hand the amount of time over the last year where the order's been exactly what's on the receipt. We've been there about twenty times, so that average is not great.

Can be busy here depending on the traffic, though it was very quiet on this visit.

Friendly staff, very clean. McDonald's innit. 😃 Been driving out this way about once a month for about a year. Just visited again. Still every bit as good here. Quite happily call in every time I'm driving past. I think the phrase is, I'm lovin' it? Just been again, it's Xmas Eve and the staff were totally in the spirit of it. They put the wrong chicken in my mcspicy burger but they were super kind about it and replaced my full on meal and my half eaten fries with new fries

It days it's opened 24h but when we went there, all staff was walking around but no one took our order. After waiting for about 10 minutes, we left without being served.

Person in front of us took a while to order due to a app apparently. Then moved forward to pay kiosk, where we waited behind for 17mins,I got out and went to kiosk to find out what the problem was .Apparently a problem with her rewards app,I asked if our food order had been done,which reply was yes. I then informed him we would not wait any longer,as our food would no longer be hot and would just be sitting there kept warm. We manoeuvred out of the queue, when looking behind there was about 10 cars in each row waiting. They should have asked her to move out of the way while she sorted the app out,and let the rest of the customers continue with their orders.

Ordered one of large fries and two cups of tea; was given the large box of fries but looked more like a medium. This was to takeaway, so didn't notice until back in the car. No milk or sugar for the teas. Went through the drive thru to sort out the problem, thinking it'll be an easy fix. Had to repeat the problem three times from the Microphone Speaker to Window One and then Window Two where not one but two women on shift were on hand to sort the problem. Told them that there were hardly any fries and it's supposed to be a large, was told back that it is a large fry and held up the medium against the large. Explained nicely that we can see that it's a large container but there was no difference between how many fries were in each one. As she held the containers up, the large fry looked completely empty, no fries sticking up to the top as you would normally. Both ladies on shift quibbled amongst themselves as our fries and cups of tea were getting colder. Reluctantly, a few more fries were stuck in the top, not a fresh batch as you'd think after they'd been talking over them with their spit going everywhere. Finally, asked for two sugars and two milks that were forgotten when we first ordered. Again, reluctantly handed us one of each and had to ask again for another one. Crap service. Put us off coming here again.

Serves a purpose when you are travelling late as they are open 24hrs, enough said.

Well I guess we all know what MacD’s is - but still….. We were disappointed and wished had gone elsewhere. It just wasn’t a great burger and the cheese, it almost tasted chemically and kept sniffing and trying to make sure it wasn’t me but it didn’t get any better. And the salad in the McTasty didn’t make up for it either. I understand it is a fast food place and a tough place to work at but just a little humour or banter would help.

Awful drive through. Waited for food after ordering and it was raining and they brought the food out with open bags. Fries were cold rest of food was warm . Avoid

Ordered via drive through: Tuesday 19th November 2024: 8:15pm The level of rudeness from the lady taking the food order (on the outside kiosk nearest to roundabout and main road) was shocking, with a very noticeable attitude and made me feel like I was being mocked, as I heard her laugh. The person behind me in the car was overhearing this situation and was also shocked in the way we was spoken to and how the order was taken. After deciding on a treat meal, it really made us think twice in coming back and ruined our experience, coming away very upset and quite angry. I would like a response from someone if possible.

McDonald's is a fast-food establishment. The service is efficient and the food is consistent with the expected characteristics of fast food.

It's a Maccies. Standard food stuff. But staff were lovely and helpful.

Pit stopped here on the way to London. Was very very busy, but still got food fairly quick. Usual maccys food. Was very busy and loud so did not eat in.

You've got to question the quality of the product when the company producing it can source ingredients, pay staff, electricity, oils, taxs, rents, rates etc and still make a profit selling that product for £1.19

We been waiting at the drive thru for at least 15 minutes in front of the monitors before somebody spoke to us. After that the lady that took our payment was rude and made a coment that wasn’t needed.

Always check you're food at this location. They commonly mess up orders, ESPECIALLY when it's busy. It almost looks like they made fries unavailable on the app because they couldn't handle the workload of orders at the same time. You wouldn't be able to order any meals on the app because of this, but obviously they're available in the store. The food is fine, but they customer service could use a lil work as fast as efficiency.

I've yet to receive exactly what I ordered, and I've visited this place approximately 6 times.

I always come through here and they always mess up my order and end up over paying when theres 3 of my food. Its reocurring not sure why these people are still employed. You can’t even call or get a hold of someone on this store.

As others have stated, this place has gone downhill and is best avoided. It used to be great but now you are lucky if they get your order correct and whatever you order will be cold.

Popped by here with my partner for lunch , mind it wasn’t a big order at all. Share box of mozzarella sticks, couple veggie dippers and a latte . We used the drive thru and was told to wait in a parking bay for our food. 30 minutes later our food still had not come, car after car in front of us had their food before us, even though they had ordered after which is fair enough, but they clearly had bigger orders which we found odd because we still was waiting. So I went inside to get ignored by staff, I complained and all I got was a mumble from one of the staff. He said they were still finishing the breakfast although it was 11:45 by this point! No help at all! So we approached another staff member to see where our food is , to find out our food hasn’t even been cooked yet! But they made our latte and left out to go cold! We finally got our food which we had to tell them to make after almost an hour wait. Latte still cold.. Manager said he’d given us a large latte for the inconvenience for the cup to still be half full! Waste of money and our time. Worst McDonalds I’ve ever been too. 👎👎👎

Utterly abysmal today . Waited 10 minutes to order at drive thru . Asked for a WOD only to be told no wraps available as they had run out of tortillas . Paid and drove round to collect order - my Fanta no ice was served to me with ice so was sent back . I then had to park in bay 1 for another 15 minutes as food not ready. Food eventually came out - chips had been thrown into bag upside down and they had forgotten to add the dip . I had to send it all back to be repacked . They used to be so efficient but on the last two visits they have been utterly incompetent ! I think they are now vying with Thetford as to who can be the most useless .

It's a McDonalds. What else can I say? The food was okay, the location is usual services type of affair, I cannot comment further, only that it served it's purpose.

Quick visit for a family lunch, usual service via the touch screen. The order was delivered quickly and everything was correct. the chips weren't quite as hot as the best places but otherwise it was all good

None else at the restaurant, literally 0 other orders, and it takes 15 minutes to make single order (of a burger fries drink), in the end got a refund and left after 20min...

They get worse week by week.not just this 1. Food is cold,missing order. The only thing you you can guarantee is they will screw your order up. Going in or drive through.its amazing how they forget things in your order but never over full it. The food is bad for you big time.

Best coffee, value offers, friendly staff, local and convenient, problems using the app.

Orders generally come wrong check them the food is never hot just sits inside while other orders bulk up.

Never been here before and the queues on a friday evening were pretty large. Quite slow to get the order placed and picked up but the staff were friendly and actually the order which was customised was correct when picked up. Overall a decent Mcdonalds

absolutely atrocious not impressed and now boycotting McDonald's i waited 35 minutes for a mayo chicken burger and this is my second bad experience in McDonald's of the day. Yes, I had mc donald's for breakfast in which I waited 25 minutes this morning don't worry it wasn't the same McDonald's and I will be complaining about that restaurant too. Also, the burger looked awful. Nothing like the adverts.

This McDonald's is the worst one in the area by far. If your travelling on the A11, go to Thetford. We have visited twice in recent times and both times parts of our order was missing, and the food was cold. Service takes forever, it's easier to eat your cold food than have some made fresh. When I say parts of the food I mean key parts, such as the burger that the meal is named after. I've never reviewed a McDonald's before, why would I, but this experience was so atrocious it had to be shared.

I wouldn’t normally review a McDonald’s…… why would you. One is the same as another. Not here, our experience was terrible. Was greeted with only 3 of 6 ordering screens working so it was busy. No milkshakes available which is fairly common for McDonald’s anyway. No receipts available from the ordering screen which I needed. No ketchup available in the dispensers as was empty. All food arrived cold, literally cold! Before leaving I took my little boy to the loo, only one of the urinals working so another queue and not smelling great. Maybe just a bad day for this location but nothing was going right that’s for sure. Terrible experience and wish we’d have kept travelling to the next one.

so I had a big order (5 People). for this reason I went to the desk to speak with a staff member as I thought this would be easier than trying to use the machine which I do not use a lot. I had to go through the order 4 times to get it right, then when I got the food all the chips were missing and one of the drinks. this took me 20min to order and I gave up in the end leaving all the chips and drink. very disappointed. My colleague went back the next day and had the same experience but did get the order in full (in the end).

You can never fail with a ‘Maccy D’, no matter where you go, you know what you’re getting and what to expect. Also the Big Mac special deals - you never put bacon in your Big Mac do you? What were you thinking man? The classics are designed not to be interfered with 👍👍👍

We use the five ways restaurant at least one a week and although it's great normally also we use the app and find it very easy to use but the last 2 times we have been to the restaurant it's been at night and the service say temporarily out of service so use the app through the drive through the first time they missed my wife's double bacon cheese burger and the second time they gave her a plain burger both times we had to queue up in the drive through traffic which by the time the other food was cold or melted we requested the whole order be be replaced and to the credit of the management they did

We stopped at this MacDonalds on the way to Great Yarmouth. Plenty of parking but was pretty busy. Ordering was straight forward. Order arrived to our table very quickly. Restaurant and tables were clean and staff constantly maintaining the standards. Toilets were clean. Staff all very friendly and polite. For out quick pit stop this MacD was spot on.

You always know what you are going to get from McDonald's, the food is always consistent as is the good customer service.

I ordered something they given something 1 burger is missing and one they given mayo chicken I ordered triple cheeseburger this is ridiculous

The McDonald's is well run but it does get incredibly busy and there is limited seating and not really anywhere nearby to sit and eat other than the car park.

I could see how hard the staff were ‘trying’ to work. But seems like every system they used didn’t work. Is there a system In place? Calling numbers in order??? Waited 50 minutes in a crowd for my food, calling orders 45 before 9? How is this even possible!! Asked about my order and told to ‘wait’ wait for what? My order had been lost or forgotten because my friends (orders 8&11) both had there food for at least 20 minutes!! and it wasn’t until I had pointed this out that my order was clearly lost, my receipt was snatched out of my hand and my food was done in 3 minutes. I get to the car and my cheese bites were missing, and I am sorry but the biggest disappointment was my box of nine nuggets was eight. Hats of to the staff for giving it a go, but it was absolute chaos.

Worst McDonald's I've ever been too. Had to park up after going through the Drive Thru and waited 15 minutes before they bought the food over. Everything was cold and we were missing a chocolate milkshake. Had to go inside and was told they had no chocolate milkshake. Ordered vanilla and got 3/4 of a cup full. No apologies. Not worth complaining as you get fobbed off with a 10% discount code

Waited 30 mins for food this morning when asked how much longer a very rude girl called Poppt said 59 seconds which is less than a minute then shook her head The duty manager was outside smoking in which I made my complaint too Mc Donald's what on earth these people let you down

Ordered a double quarter pounder and was given a single patty but charged full price! Ordered two large meals also which came with half filled fries. Nice crew but wish there was more effort in presentation and care. Not happy I was charged full price for half the food

My recent visit was, without a doubt, the worst service I have ever encountered. The entire experience was a disgrace from start to finish. Firstly, I waited for an excruciating 25 minutes in the designated bay. Only then was I informed that my order had been refunded and cancelled because they run out of McPlant. This was not only incredibly frustrating but also a complete waste of my time. Secondly, the shift manager's behavior was utterly unacceptable. This individual displayed absolutely no customer service skills. There was no apology for the inconvenience caused. Furthermore, the language used was shockingly inappropriate for any place that deals with the public. In summary, my experience at this was nothing short of awful. The lack of professionalism and basic courtesy was astounding. I would strongly advise anyone to steer clear of this place.

20 mins waiting for our food only to be told they have forgotten it, worse service

Just came from the drive thru here with 4 seperate orders which they managed to completely mess up. They missed one order and we had to go inside to get it, we asked for sauces and one bbq sauce was given. No straws were given with the 9 drinks we ordered and 2 birthday donuts an garlic bread cheese dippers were missing from one of my orders and the wrong drink given on another of the 4 orders. If you try to phone this number it goes to a vodaphone voicemail too which is strange too. And to top it all there was a big piece of bad lettuce in my double big mac. And the double big mac we ordered 2 of them, all the burgers were really dry. Shocking service and have left a voicemail too. I also have to say that every time I have been to this McDonalds they have got my order wrong in some way. Whoever manages this franchise needs a lot of customer service and staff training and also to learn to respond to complaints instead of ignoring them. Avoid this Mcdonalds at all costs
