Takeaway large chips was £4.39 for portion that is far from large (see photo). They're not that amazing either. Nearby competitors much better value and quality.

I've recently been diagnosed as celiac which is a bit of a downer so I was so pleased to find Deep Blue serves fish and chips that are both gluten free and cooked separately! Excellent quality too and friendly staff

Had to come back! Tried the steak and ale pie and it was delightful and the manager was so helpful and respectful. Definitely have to meet up with him seems like a laugh and the tunes were so good in the fish and chip shop.

Both members of staff were really kind and helpful but Emma in particular was the cashier and she packed my food lovely double checking she had everything correct and was so sweet she even reminded me about using my NHS discount for future orders. Will never go anywhere else for my fish and chips one of the best places I’ve ever been to. Thanks Emma and young lad on shift Thursday 19th September :)

I went in here last week and it was great as always, once again I ordered the same food as last time and it was great, my server Emma was very kind and was professional when serving me and once again due to the food being amazing and my server Emma being great when it came to serving me, I shall be coming back to this fine establishment of a place again and again.

I work all over the place and fancied fish and chips, I’m not a fan of the internet so I usually have a wander and find places to eat, whilst walking round Newmarket I stumbled across Deep Blue fish and chip shop and I am so glad I did, chips were cooked perfectly fish was the nicest fish I have had in a long time and the gravy was on another level and the young girl working was happy and chatty, will definitely be going back.

We went for my dad’s birthday meal as this is his favourite place for lunch. We were served by Ash who was really lovely and friendly, he made sure we were all happy with our food and it was lovely to meet someone else with ADHD in a public facing job as I find it quite difficult at times! Our regular go to place in Newmarket for our Fish and Chips. Food and service is always top notch. Wonderful friendly staff.

Had fish and chips last night and it was excellent. The fish was cooked perfectly, the batter was crispy and the chips were great too. Definitely recommend. Also the person who served me was really nice and friendly so was worth the 25 minute drive.

Both ash and Liam gave exemplary service Ash who served us our food was beyond helpful , friendly and genuinely couldn't do enough for us . The food was delicious and will definitely return no questions . A fantastic experience and meal , well done !

Well what can I say, me an my mum were so happy to have found this place in Newmarket for a lunch-time snack box. Jake and Liam were fantastic and the food was amazing for the price, plenty of chips and a generous serving of fish and sausage mini bits, plus 2 sides :O we had gravy an mushy peas. WOW great food thanks again guys, i even took a walk back to the shop to thank the guys and we had a chat about higher prices in the area but they were not greedy for money just happy to provide good food and service. 5 stars all round

Handsome down, the best fish supper enjoyed in years. What shone out the most, was the exceptional service we enjoyed from staff member Liam. He was very welcoming, attentive and afforded us great courteous and care. I noticed also throughout our meal, that he was constantly ' on the go', cleaning tables, and generally improving standards for the customers benefit and enjoyment. I had a special offer here, including one fish & chips, one mushy peas, and one soft drink, totally cost me around 10 quid. Their fish has better quality and taste than pub food level. The fish tasted crispy outside and juicy inside, which is the one I really liked. I also quite like adding some salt and vinegar on fish. For the atmosphere, don’t expect too much, cuz it’s just a fish bar. I think sitting outside is more comfortable, though you have to bear with some embarrassing eye contacts with passers-by. Overall, it’s a lovely fast food place for travellers in this town.

Sat down for a quick meal here with the family, honestly a great experience. Food was superb we each had the fish and chips which was delicious. Ash served us and was very nice making sure to be attentive and even entertaining our little one. Would recommend for a decent priced chippy!!

The food is great. Didn’t realise gluten free was an option which was fantastic as one person wasn’t expecting to be able to eat. Liam was great and checked ingredients so other allergens were avoided. Will visit again.
