One of the best fish and chips I've ever had in my life. This fish is better than some I have eaten at the seaside.Even the chips are homemade. This is very important because all fast food is served frozen. You are simply the best.

We recently moved to Biddenham from Hertford and can’t get over how incredible this fish and chips is. It’s our absolute favourite and best we’ve ever had in the whole country. Both cod and chips taste delicious every time. They were once closed and we were silly to go elsewhere and all we did during the whole meal was talk about how much better this place is. Never making that mistake again! An absolute gem find in Bedford and I highly recommend. An honest business that also accepts card payments is a huge bonus. It really annoys us when others say to go to the closest supermarket to take cash out for them in today’s day and age. Keep up the brilliant work and my husband and I look forward to bringing our children here for many years to come.

Quite disappointed in this place! Got a great review from someone so thought we’d check it out for dinner. Asked what their smallest chips portion was cos it was to accompany food we already had. Told it was a small bag for £2.90 (later found out they do a kids portion size aswell). Got the chips home and they weren’t proper chip shop chips but oven style chips. Rather disappointed cos I only really like chip shop chips, not fussed bout oven chips.

Fish and Chips in my opinion is the best in Bedford. Even though there is a queue you get served quickly on a Friday evening.

The fish and chips here cannot be beaten. It's great. And the staff get to know you and will be cooking your order as soon as you walk in. Superb and a must visit if you are ever in Bedford!

Back in Bedford , second week, second time eating their delicious fish and chips…..it will be once a week until I leave, I’d eat it three or four times a week if my hips would allow…. Wish Boston (US) had something even a 1/4 of the quality!!!! Thank you Anthony and team !!!!!

Extremely friendly fish and chip shop like you'd hope. Ordered a haddock and chips, got salt and vinegar exactly like you'd hope to be asked. They don't do battered mars bars but despite my heavy stutter are more than happy to accomodate their customers. First time ordering from here and extremely happy. Don't let the name fool you, this is a real fish and chip shop. Fish and chips done to perfection. The young lad and older man were very friendly and it's exactly what you'd expect. Will absolutely come back here again after my first order and will likely leave a tip. These sorts of shops are exactly what we have to keep in business. Honestly one of the best fish and chip shops I've ever been to, if you visit here you will not be disappointed.

The best fish and chips for miles in my opinion! I've ordered in bulk for occasions and events for work and my family order for big events too. Every time its delicious, tasty, fresh, hot and the quality is amazing😍 . Compliments pile in from all that eat it and everyone asks me where it is from. The service is brilliant. Andy and his team are all fantastic. Hands down the best and number one fish and chip shop.

For me this shop still does the best fish and chips in the world. Grow up, eating from here and the shop has been consistent. Still taste the same as when I had it 30 odd years ago. Owner are always friendly and the shop remain busy and represent abit of Bedford history. My go to for fish and chips in bedford.

Overpriced fish but always tasty

Very polite staff and the food was banging, probably the best chippy in Bedford.

I had to wait outside in the cold for about 30 mins before I could make my order. There was actually a large number of customers in the same situation as myself. Ridiculous. I was only able to make my order and receive it once all the customers who had placed orders over the phone or online received their orders in person! It was just chaotic. The only saving grace was the food was very good as usual. I think next time I will call ahead or just make fish and chips at home.

Having moved from London i can honestly say that this chippy ranks up there with the best of them. Very good flakey cod, batter is always crisp but not over cooked. Gino and Andy are local legends always met with great service and a giggle 5* 👌

I understand it's during a pandemic and people want you to call ahead but standing second in line whilst everyone that called comes up then gets served without a wait and no food being ready for them if you want fish and chips just call them or do it at home

This is a very obliging take away shop who deliver to our bowls club when we have tea at the clubhouse for various events. The fish/or chicken and chips arrive promptly and hot and are very reasonably priced and people say they are the best in the area,so altogether very satisfied.

Have been having fish and chips from this establishment for about 3 months. By far the best I have tasted and would go nowhere else. Geno and Andy are friendly and helpful. The food is fresh and tastes and for me, the lack of standing fat is a bonus. Brilliant worth a visit
