Lovley good but the parents inside at the time was letting there kids run riot and enjoying the fact they was jumping all over the place while I was trying to eat

A Little Taste of Lebanon in Bedford – Highly Recommended! Charcoal Grill is hands down one of the best halal restaurants in Bedford. From the moment you walk in, it feels like you’ve stepped into a Lebanese restaurant in the heart of Lebanon. The atmosphere is great, and the staff are always friendly and welcoming. Their afternoon offer is excellent value, and the food? Absolutely top-tier. Everything is fresh and full of flavour, but their rice—wow. I don’t even know how to describe it,it’s something else entirely! I asked Mohammad for the recipe, but he just smiled like I was planning to open my own restaurant! Ha ha! Their takeaway service is also spot-on. The packaging is really well done and keeps the food warm and fresh. The only issue I’ve noticed is when ordering through Uber Eats: for certain items like chicken wings or chicken sheesh, it only lets you select the large portions,you can’t choose the normal size. It would be great if they could look into fixing that. Overall, whether you’re dining in or ordering out, Charcoal Grill is a must-try. Highly recommended!

Wouldn’t recommend this place took ages to take our order then another long wait for the food to come out service was horrible waste of time and money

Hair in lamb kebab when reported he said I am sorry and said it brush thread which we use to oil all crap it was inside the meat and he pulled it out in from of me no customer services very rude

I ordered takeaway food from here and the meat was raw and smelly so bad as it was old and out of date, I told the owner then he offered me onother free meal but I didn't want it any more. I stopped going there for 2-3 years, I am going again there but the service is bad. Even when I am ordering online is the same issue late or they don't cook the food well.

I ordered on just eat on 29/03, Not only was the order an hour and a half late but there was raw bits of chicken in my chicken shawarma wrap. We contacted Just Eat and have received no reply, we followed up with an email and received no reply and also left a review on Just eat and have received no reply. No action has been taken, which it’s disgusting. I will be contacting environmental health as this is unacceptable.

As always the food here is amazing. We have been going here since it opened and there is no where else like it in Bedford. The portions are huge and the food always fresh and tasty. The only negative is the tv is always on very loud, I don't mind background music but it's a little too loud.

Very good, not perfect, but personally I loved it. Service sometimes leaves to be desired, parking isn't particularly easy, and the atmosphere could be improved; But the food is great, very tasty, and if you get the mixed grill platter, it should be more than enough for 2 of my size, or 3 average sized people : )

Go to Marmaris grill down the road. They are friendlier, cheaper and better quality food.

Food is great. Can't knock it. Would highly recommend the lamb chops, they're delicious and a well sized portion. The shwarma is fantastic too. Chips are always fresh and hot. The garlic sauce just bangs. The service isn't great, slow and you have to repeat yourself to the waitress 3 or 4 times to get the order right and food takes ages to come out, but I guess it's worth the wait.

Got a takeaway on Saturday., the portion of meat in the shawarma was tiny but also dry and chewy.. never eat in there again which is a shame because a few years ago it used to be my favourite place

I went out with a few of my friends and the food was terrible. We are schoolgirls (15/16) and they served us COLD food, like it was from the fridge. The tables with adults had food with smoke so I could tell it was warm. I don’t know why we were served so badly but I have reason to believe it’s because we were younger and they thought we wouldn’t complain. Horrible experience.

Wow....popped in for a light lunch and ended up with a massive meal....loved it

Ordered on phone, was told collect in 20 mins. Went in, was told another 5 mins (ended up being another 25 and the place wasn't busy at all). Ordered 2 meals and 1 of them was sat on the table lid off for about 10 of those mins. Chips were stone cold, seems like there's no care in the world. Meals were ready for 5 mins, woman at the front was yapping and laughing about with the owner instead of getting me the food. Wouldn't recommend. Shame they've gone downhill since new ownership.

Almost always my orders don't reach me, they are either canceled or sent after hours. I paid for a priority order that was supposed to arrive within 25 minutes maximum, but it arrived after 2 hours. It's very bad, no organization.

We went there with our family at lunchtime, and the entrance door advertised a lunch offer with discounted prices. However, when the bill arrived, they initially tried to charge us someone else's bill, which was double our actual amount, we sort it first. They then informed us that we needed to specify if we wanted the lunchtime offer or regular-priced food, which we dont know. In the end, they charged us the full amount. Food taste is

Big Frauds. Avoid at all cost. They have lunch offer at discounted rates. We order some food for collection and they charged us full price when we asked for receipt they said you have to tell us if you want discount then we will make you a small portion absolutely rubbish.

We went to this restaurant for the first time, it's the best Turkish restaurant I have ever tried. The food was very good we ordered a mixed grill platter, humus, portion size really good. Just concern about naan they are too thin they should do fresh naan with butter on top and they don't do tap water which is a shame. Staff was fine, there should be 1/2 more staff for customers dealing, to arrange seating etc etc. Otherwise all good ✅

Nipped in on a wim last night after tge pete tong gig, and the food we'll wow partner said best mixed kebab he has ever had. Chips was brilliant not greasy, I had a lamb wrap was beautifully cooked all food was fresh and well cooked and present lovely. And great price too. Thank you

The person who delivered the food ate some of the chips I can tell because the bag has been reopened and an the whole food box was also open and the person was wearing a Bally an an didn’t wanna knock on my door

The Ouzi Lamb Neck is amazing, and the lamb chops are equally impressive. Great food with generous portions. The milk cake is definitely worth trying. The staff are friendly and attentive. One of the best restaurants in Bedford. Definitely worth a visit!

Charcoal grill TERRIBLE service!! Do not use restaurant!! Last night ordered for delivery for my self and two kids, to then receive about 10% of the order !! When contacted they decided to not answer the phone to my self or the delivery company (exact number of attempts 63 ). As a result I had to drag my kids to the store, and received nothing but rudeness on arrival. When talking to the manager I am told it’s my fault & will have to wait 30 minutes at which time it’s already been 2 hours!! Due to the fact I needed to get the kids food I agreed however in the 30 minutes my partners car was hit with the kids inside which could have all been avoided if charcoal grill had better service. To conclude I still didn’t receive all my order as on returning to the shop after the accident I was told the food was still not ready at 8:45 which was placed at 5:20.
