Very unassuming outwardly, until you find the entrance at the back. Walk in to the "Backstage entrance" a courtyard sheltered from the wind, and enter the bar to find live music, (Sunday). Drinks are relatively inexpensive and a very nice, friendly atmosphere.

Friendly traditional pub serving good real ale. Nice atmosphere. Open mic nights are a treat, particularly with the house band. Ken the landlord is a first rate guitarist.

Really nice little pub, pleasant atmosphere and a good selection of beers. Live music Sunday afternoons. Just far enough off the beaten track to not be overly busy. Definitely worth a visit 🙂

Sunday night is Open Mic Night at the Oddfellows Arms. You never know who is going to turn up and play, but enough capable and competent virtuosos come along to make each Sunday night more special than the last. Amateurs and first-timers are also welcome, and everyone gets applause. You might recognise some of the songs, but there's enough talent there to improvise and make up solos, endings, and mash-ups entirely on the spot. Only last week, for instance there was a lengthy guitar duel between two of the most talented electric guitarists on the East Coast. No rehearsals, the guys just agreed on a key and tore it up in turns, while a drummer marked the time. It was jaw-dropping stuff. People will be talking about that night for months. Sunday night at the Oddies is far and away the best night of free entertainment in the Great Yarmouth area. The beer is good - the Grain beer 316 at £4 a pint is wholly recommended - and card payment is accepted. Parking can be a bit tight, so park you car in the Beach Road area and hop up the steps. See you there!

Great pub with excellent selection of locally sourced ales. Good wine selection, excellent gin selection. Sunday is open mike night and quality of local talent is exceptional...all backed up with in house musicians who can play along to pretty much anything! And to top it off, staff are friendly, efficient and courteous; great place.

Most importantly, don't drive past the front door and think it is shut, as I did several times before discovering the entrance was via the back in a separate road. When you find it you will be rewarded by a tardis-like pub and garden space offering some great cask ales and a lively atmosphere.

Excellent Friendly Local with a friendly atmosphere and very good quality Ale. The Oddfellows Arms sells a very good range of Ales & Lagers & strongly supports local Brewers and Distillery’s. They also have a very good selection of Gins. Due to the current restrictions they are taking Covid-19 very seriously and have very good social distance measures in place. On a few occasions this has meant that some people have been turned away, due to the capacity being filled.

Dog friendly. Lovely food and huge portions. I regretted having a starter. Not because it wasn't lovely because it was but because it was the size of a main and I struggled with my main, a pudding was out of the question! The range of ales and beers was impressive too. When back this way I will be dropping in. Phoning prior to visiting is recommended. Parking is an issue, there is none at the pub and the surrounding roads are double yellow lines. There is a pay and display carpark two to three minutes walk away on High Street Photo. There is a stake on the plate!!!!
