The best restaurants in East of England

Visiting at lunch, we had a lovely meal. However I would particularly recommend the service. It had proved impossible to park and on hearing we would have to leave, the staff gave up their own staff parking place just so we could stay. I am so glad they did as we had a wonderful meal and we would certainly come back again.

We had a delightful one night stay here. The hotel is tastefully restored and well maintained, the room very comfortable. Really impressive was that, whether at check-in or around the hotel, every member of staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very tasty, as can be seen in pics (I had asked for tomatoes to be fresh, not cooked). Absolutely recommended.

At the moment the best restaurant in Harlow. Lost one star purely because you run out of mashed potatoes at 7pm on Saturday.

It's the best place to eat in Witham. The service and food are both amazing. I'd recommend this to anyone passing through.

Amazing find in Westcliff today. Beautifully presented & tasty Thai food, staff very attentive & we were lucky enough to experience 2 other guests have a Thai cooking lesson so managed to watch & learn whilst waiting for our delicious food.

Stayed there for one night. The service, room, food, and the place overall were astonishing—far beyond our expectations. Prices are fair and reasonable. I only hope that, in the future, well-behaved and friendly dog(s) will be allowed in the main restaurant. They are part of the family, after all.

Celebrated my FIL’s birthday here which was very nice and enjoyable. I ordered the squid ink paella and even though my tongue turned black the from food, I loved every single bite. It was my first time having this dish and it didn’t disappoint.

The pizza, garlic bread and wedges were lovely. Not being from the area we popped in here on the off chance. We ate in and our food was with us in 10 minutes. Fresh dough is used, unlike most pizza places using frozen bases. Definitely recommend this place

I recently visited Moreno’s Cafe with my family for breakfast, and it was such a cozy and welcoming experience. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere felt warm and relaxed — perfect for a family outing. The staff were friendly and attentive, greeting us with smiles and making sure we were comfortable right away. The food was amazing! The portions were generous, and the flavors were spot on. Definitely worth a visit!

WOW! booked a table here for last night and I had no idea, thought it was going to be a basic place to eat but it was AMAZING!.............myself and my partner & son Immediately felt so welcome........my partner was dithering over the menu for over half an hour! even though it was busy they where so patient and helpful! ......... been to The Crazy Bear lots of times but this place is better!........ ordered chicken shish, felafel and kids meal.........I love food and particularly kebabs..........but this was another level! you can tell its all fresh ingredients made on the premises........only 2 complaints, they dont charge enough and I only left a small tip!.....I can't recommend more highly! ....... going from Oxford to Leighton Buzzard next weekend just for the food and service! 11/10.........will leave a proper tip this time!

First time visiting here and really enjoyed the food. The service was great, and the staff were friendly. Street parking is available, with the first hour free and a maximum parking time of four hours. However, the service here is fast, so you can sit back, relax, and enjoy your meal.
