This was our first visit - what a gem of a family run restaurant. Great service, superb freshly prepared and cooked food and just the right amount of choice. We will be back!

The best breakfasts and sandwiches in the area. Always happy with anything I order and well priced too. Staff are friendly, helpful and excellent at what they do. I recommend them to everyone!
Best Chinese I've had in years.
Our normal Chinese doesn't do peking chicken and I really fancied it so we tried somewhere new and I'm so glad we did!
Portions were very generous and the food was hot and delicious.
We had chicken chow chicken chow mein, chicken balls, salt and pepper chicken, chips and a few extras and it only cost 32! Much cheaper and better than our previous take away. We will be back.
This is the greatest tearoom in Norfolk. You will always be guaranteed the warmest of welcomes from this family run business. The food is wholesome and hearty and great value. My favourite is the coffee and walnut cake which is home made.
Writing a review having had a Google review disappear. Visited Sunday morning to find closed doors and staff inside ignoring those outside. I’m not sure in whose world this is normal. If there are staffing issues and unable to open it would be common courtesy to explain this to waiting customers and not to stand behind the counter ignoring them and wave your hand dismissively when they attempt to talk to you.
Another shop worker came along and banged on the door and someone from inside in complete silence opened the door and closed it again. No explanation, no discussion just a shake of the head and door closed. So I also banged on the door to draw her attention. Pumpernicks management have claimed that other customers were sympathetic. In fact two other customers who had been waiting outside told me that they would not be returning and would be going to Radlett for their bread in future. So will I.

Really nice! I had a peppermint tea, a caramel, apple and cinnamon cake and a sausage roll all were really tasty. The lady who served us was so welcoming and friendly
Mother’s Day lunch, so can be very busy but was laid back, nothing too much trouble. Lovely young lad & cheerful female waitresses smiling & helpful. Two courses nut roast & beef with desserts, all hot & beautifully cooked & presented but most importantly delicious. Will definitely be back
