Lunch chicken Milanese served on small plate. Pasta in a sauce obviously from a jar with a lump of chicken breaded on top£20.00! My husband had the pasta same sauce obviously from same jar £16.00. Total rip off No wonder you are not busy overpriced and poor quality food.

Amazing test, wonderful friendly

We had a really lovely couple of hours on 14th February having a splendid afternoon tea that I had won in the local village church raffle at Christmas. Everything was wonderful with the sandwiches, sausage rolls, cakes, scones, macaroons, heart shaped sweeties, coffee and tea. Gluten free bread and scones and cakes were all very tasty and I particularly loved the gluten free sandwiches that were generously filled. It was all so perfect and the staff were attentive and friendly, making us feel very welcome. What a very enjoyable and much appreciated afternoon tea.. thank you very much to all the team and for the lovely treat! We will be back very soon!

Just popped in for a post-walk pint. Friendly (nice landlord with wry sense of humour) and in a beautiful village in a lovely valley.

Asked server if I could swap the rice for chips, was told by her I wanted extra chips, explained 3 times then she called another server over and said I wanted a curry I said I didn’t want chips and same again, cancelled order and was asked if I wanted the curry still very poor service won’t be eating here again

My husband and I enjoyed a lovely Afternoon Tea today. Everything was so fresh and the cakes really light. Staff are friendly and obliging.

Fantastic ice cream Scoop ice cream is to die for. Whippy ice cream vanilla and flavoured. Reasonably priced Open nearly all year round weather permitting which is a big plus Lovely staff, what more could you ask for

Went for a Sunday lunch as had a personal recommendation from a former client. And we are really glad we went along it was only ten miles from where we live and often pass it on the A1 but never been in this time we made the effort and it was well worth it. All home cooked possibly with exception of the dessert but the roast and vegetables all local sourced and freshly cooked and what a treat, service was brilliant and friendly. They had only just opened up for lunch but we were happy to wait the plates nice and hot food with a separate gravy pot as well. would highly recommend ideal for families, couples, business people. clean modern and not a transport cafe so do not pass this one,
