Fantastic food and service. We all enjoyed our meals and will definitely return. The staff were so friendly and welcoming.

Place was tucked out of the way and small. Staff seemed friendly but limited menu. Starter of Beef carpaccio was nice but chicken main just came with mushrooms and chicken was dry and mushrooms very salty. Desert was nice but overpriced at £11. To be honest for the price we paid there would be nicer restaurants with a much better atmosphere and don’t think I will be a returning customer

Family lunch, 8 of us, great food and very friendly service. Fish soup was excellent, Ribolla white from Friuli Venezia Giulia also excellent, tartufini for dessert finished it all off nicely. Everyone else also really happy with their menu choices, look forward to next time.

Simply loved the place and the food quality , the restaurant looked outstanding . The waiters were committed to great service and very friendly . We have enjoyed a delicious 3 course meal and the beautiful atmosphere . Launch music was playing which made the atmosphere charm, we will definitely come back for dinner or a special event. Good food but awful service. Firstly the restaurant is in an old place near a Tesco and school it felt like we were in the wrong place. The inside is nice, we were sat by the door which was unfortunate. The food was good but the service was so bad I wouldn’t return. We had a table booked at 8.30pm we did arrive slightly early and was seated. We were then ignore for 25 minutes, literally completely ignored. When I asked to order a drink we were told we had to wait for our allotted time and we were early and proceed to tell us off at the table. Rather than apologise for the lack of staff. They had 2 members of staff for the whole restaurant. They need to hire more people and retrain in what is customer service. Shame as the food was good but I wouldn’t go somewhere again with such bad service.

I have been lucky to eat in some great restaurants around the world and this hidden gem is right up there with the best. Don’t let it’s location or outside put you off. Inside is tastefully decorated and not over pretentious. But the food is tasty, delicate and leaving you wanting more. This is high end Italian cuisine done very, very well. With a great choice of wines and equally attentive service. You normally have to travel to London or another big city to get great food like this. Fabulous 👍🏻❤️

Absolutely wonderful food, carefully served, in a lovely, friendly atmosphere. We had scallops to start, melt-in-the-mouth fillet steak and parmesan-crusted chicken for our mains and chocolate truffles with strawberries and melted chocolate and chocolate mousse for our dessert... wow! The whole experience was faultless. We are thrilled to have discovered this lovely little restaurant, and we will most certainly be coming back... hopefully many times.

This restaurant is a hidden gem. I was given a recommendation for La Bonta and thought I would give it a try. So glad I did as the food was absolutely amazing. All 5 of us went for the set lunch as it was so reasonably priced. The potato and leek soup was to die for. Not usually that struck on potato soup, this was smooooth and creamy and the hint of oregano in the croutons just yummy. The main courses of Risotto just perfectly cooked or the Chicken Milanese the best I’ve ever tasted. When I saw the lemon and pine nut cream tart portion I thought maybe a bit small but when I tasted it, it was very rich, lemony and tangy and surprisingly filling. Really good coffee. Best lunch I have had in a long, long time and the service impeccable. Thank you La Bonta, made our Bon Voyage celebration really great.

We live locally and la bonta is like our 2nd fridge from the deli shop too the resturant. The staff are friendly and the food is AMAZING. Anyone with good taste for food will go here and come back again. We have been coming here since they opened. I read a couple of bad reviews which made me add my comments, i can ensure you it’s the people in the bad reviews not la bonta. over all excellent

What an amazing find just 3 miles from home. The steak was one of the best we have ever tasted and the fish was perfectly cooked. The staff were so lovely, we will be back again soon

Yes, the location is strange! But inside is nice. The food is traditional Italian, well executed. The service is a let down. Amuse bouche dumped on table with no explanation of what it is. Endlessly having to call staff over to order, too up wine, ask anything. For a restaurant purporting to be fine dining, the service needs to match. Nice to experience, will not rush back.

We stumbled across this restaurant and wow, what a find. The food was really quite exceptional and worthy of any high-end Italian restaurant in London, particularly as it’s location is not where you would expect to find such perfect, authentic Italian cuisine. A fantastic fine dining gem hidden away in the most unlikely of places, by far the best food I've eaten in this country, the Seabass was fresh and tasty and steak was cooked to perfection. They even have a great value £32 3 course set menu, everything we tried off that was lovely. Nicely decorated inside with a relaxed atmosphere and staff that seem to really care about your experience. Will definitely be recommending to friends and coming back soon.
