Ignorant rude old battleaxe who rudely barks there are no tables as they are booked. Very poor customer manners and zero personal interest . AVOID

Really good quality, delicious food and drink, Turkish themed but with plenty of other cuisines, attentive service, warm atmosphere. Would definitely go back. To top it off the owner delivered my bank cards to my house next day that I left behind by accident.

Great food and a great atmosphere, can't fault this place, one of the best in town.

Coffe is very week and defenatly not Illy coffe just the cup! Waitress very unwelcoming, probably forgotten the Smile at home, bouth 1 egg tested sandwiches for £5.90 total rip off!! I always prefer to opt for not big frichising coffe shop but I regretted, coffe is terrible and the service!! I 'll go to Costa coffe shop next time wich is near by...you live you learn!!!

Regularly eat here and never been disappointed. Very reasonably priced. All cooked fresh. Menu changes regularly so you get a good choice/mix or dishes. Their sharing Deli boards are great. This is the only place I know that brings everyone’s food up at the same time and all piping hot. Food is always piping hot, unlike many other restaurants that serve food warm-cold and I hate luke warm food. And great cocktails and different GIns and tonic.

My second time here. Cosy interior and wonderful food. Delightful staff. Will be back.

Loved this place!! Amazing coffee and the pancakes were super super delicious, the fruits were fresh tasted like organic produce but not sure. I was happy to see pads and tampons in the toilet :) If in Royston during breakfast time again will definitely visit.

A real gem in Royston. An excellent spot for lunch, we ordered the Turkish Meze with a lamb pida, both of which were delicious. There is a good choice of hot drinks alongside an excellent wine list. Highly recommend.

Lovely atmosphere and really nice freshly cooked food. Teriyaki chicken wrap was very good.

Lovely food & service but very chilly at lunchtime, a few people sitting with coats over their knees not just in our group other tables around noticed people putting coats over knees.

Highly recommend if you're looking for a venue for an event, we booked the upstairs room for a family birthday party and had a great time. The food was great, venue is lovely and the staff were all wonderful during the planning and on the day

We really enjoyed our lunch here. Warm, friendly and knowledgeable service. Fresh and delicious food. Gluten free options are available. We'll be back as we didn't have room for pudding this time!!

Buzzing atmosphere downstairs. Nice quiet space upstairs. Delicious food. Great to eat in or take away. Freshly made on the premises, high quality produce used. Fantastic chef. Friendly staff. Always a wide selection of cakes/desserts to choose from. Raspberry chocolate bomb is my current favourite. Highly recommend.

Evening meal was delicious and value for money. The service was excellent and the ambience was superb. Recommend for intimate dinner.

Great cakes, great breakfast, great service

A cafe located in a historic setting in Royston. We were passing through the town and called in for a coffee. The flat white was served in a generously sized cup and tasted delicious. Good coffee at a good price!

Really nice little place for dinner, drinks and cocktails. Focused menu with specials available. Turkish plate was excellent quality and reasonably priced. Will be back.

Very tasty breakfast, this is not your average greasy spoon, enjoy popping in when I’m in Royston.

What a little gem of a place! The food was as good as I've ever eaten - fit for Master Chef. The pride and passion they put into every dish, cake or coffee should be an aspiration for every hospitality venue. Lovely, friendly service and excellent value for money for the exquisite quality of food served. We only wished it was 100 miles closer to Yorkshire lol

Lovely place to eat, friendly and welcoming and attention to dietary requirements. I had a lovely vegan pida and vegan chocolate cake. All delicious. Highly recommended.

I've only been to Royston twice so I was lucky to pop into No 41 for a snack. The food was lovely and the staff super friendly. Will definitely be going again. Very reasonable prices too, no wonder it's so popular!

I met with friends here today and what a perfect little gem this is. The food was amazing. It’s isn’t very often these days that you find a ploughman’s lunch on the menu. The Christmas Pida also looked amazing with Turkey and pigs in blankets. In fact there was so much food my friend ended up taking some home. It was just amazing. The selection of cakes and puddings was also delicious. The staff are so friendly and accommodating. Royston you are so lucky to have this 😊

I cannot compliment No 41 enough for their quality of food and service. I think I was sitting near the couple who have left a one star review last weekend and I believe they went there determined not to enjoy the evening. We had a Pida and could not fault the quality. The couple were so stuck up their backsides, and refused the free drink offered to them

Lovely food/coffee great service.

Initially, my vege meze contained sausages. When it was replaced 10 minutes later it was minus the coleslaw, not a huge problem so didn’t bother mentioning it. Also ordered a chicken pida, looked lovely but the chicken was clearly processed, smelt and looked processed, also very bland. When it wasn’t eaten the “chef” eventually came upstairs and disputed the fact it was processed, seemed annoyed that we didn’t like the pida, not a very professional approach I feel. Not worth the argument, she reluctantly asked if we wanted anymore drinks, to which we declined so pretty much threw the bill on the table. It’s a shame because it is really lovely inside. Won’t be going back purely on the chefs attitude. Saying that, the young girls serving were very pleasant and helpful.

Very friendly and helpful staff. I think they are owners as well. They seem to care a lot. Ordered a walnut loaf for snack. Love it! My macchiato was great too. Will visit again for main meals!

Excellent. Could not have asked for better. Lovely ambience, great staff and brilliant food at sensible prices. Lovely full English at £8-95, freshly cooked. We had the upstairs to ourselves as there were 12 of us (I think!) Definitely recommend it.

Really lovely lunch today. I had the hummus open sandwich which was delicious and a great portion size. Good veggie options available. Also had a huge delicious slice of vegan chocolate cake - one of the nicest chocolate cakes I’ve ever had! Really friendly and attentive staff and great COVID safety measures in place including plastic screens between tables. Very pleased to see our bill was half price as they had extended their Eat Out to Help Out deal.

Handily located between the station and town centre, the ambience is cosy and relaxed. Called in for a quick coffee and was tempted to have a slice of the gorgeous home made cake. Great coffee and friendly service. Forget Costa in the town, this is so much better!

I was amazed to find the Monday before Christmas when we visited the week before to enquire that they would be closed with the offer of a potential group of 12. On our return in the new year we had a simple 2 course meal and a few drinks. It's ok, however the staff need more product training to improve the service. The garlic prawns were bland yet the calamari was excellent. The Aubergine was very watery which took the taste away from the mince, though I recommend the Pida which is a Turkish pizza. I look forward to returning when they extend the menu as they get busier.

Went in for a coffee and some cake and was instructed to sit wherever we liked. Sat down and was ignored for around 15mins, no menu offered, no one came to take our order or even smiled or looked our way. Spent 5 minutes trying to get the attention of the waitresses, all 3 of whom ignored our attempts so we walked out. Such a shame as the food looks lovely. Maybe need to work on their customer service?
