Went for lunch today, food was excellent and the lunch menu is very good value for money. Staff were all amazing and the atmosphere was lovely, probably helped by the fact it was nice weather and the front was open to the outside. Would definitely recommend!

Beautiful food prices good restaurant well furnished only negative was the little aggressive man greeting at the front rolled his eyes huff puff when I asked for still water with my dinner? Wouldn't detur me from coming back was nice. Please work on manners if your greeting waitress she was excellent attentive.

Beware of the Water Trick I was quite disappointed with the cunning water service here. They poured only half a glass from the bottle, then took it away from our table, presumably to pour for someone else. The bottle was nowhere to be seen, but I was still charged for a full bottle of water. This left a sour taste in my mouth, and not just from the overpriced water!

Really vibrant place and quite lively. Really enjoyed the food. The cold starter for two will feed 4 easily. Lamb chops were a little overdone for everything else was perfect.

Great food and incredible accommodation for someone allergic to everything under the sun! Great job folks

Had the most amazing experience at ibo’s bar & restaurant tonight my friends birthday was yesterday So we wanted to go somewhere for some late celebrations. We tried somewhere different not too far this place was amazing service was outstanding & food was amazing.the manager was a so helpful with our booking. We will see you again soon

Came here recently for a friend’s birthday. Meal was great, really big portions and tasty. My only negative with the food was the feta was quite bland and I had to put a lot of salt & pepper on it (most likely my personal taste) & the rice was a bit different to Turkish rice I’ve had before, but was still nice. I also would have loved if the music was traditional Turkish music, it was great too hear classic songs I know, but I think it would have just been that extra special something if I heard traditional music. I got the chicken shish for my main and it was super tasty and fresh. I also had a raspberry mocktail and it tasted very nice! Also good value for money. Would definitely return!

This place was highly recommended, and it certainly didn't disappoint! Food was of quality standard, the chicken penne pasta was delicious, which went down lovely with a few cocktails 🍸😁 Excellent service and on hand straight away if you need anything. Will be back to visit again

Always enjoyed my food here both summer lunches outside and inside dinners during the winter. Really enjoyed the liver at my last visit.

This place is just like any other Turkish restaurant, the only point of difference is the extremely expensive price tag that comes with it, kids chicken nuggets and chips is £10, that's with no drink/dessert, most dishes are £20+, way too expensive!!!....and you can walk across the square and eat elsewhere for a lot less, the cocktail menu is great, that's about it!!!

My work colleagues and I went to Ibos in Hitchin on Friday evening and we all had a fabulous time. It is very hard to fault anything as the drinks were excellent (the cocktails were a master piece) the staff were excellent, great warm atmosphere and the food was excellent. My main course, Shrimp Casseole with extra spice was very tasty indeed. Well worth a visit at any time during the day. I am already looking forward to going back soon. Thanks IBOS.

Excellent Food in a very nice restaurant. Very Friendly and efficient waitress. Only one small downside. A glass of Malbec Wine at £9.50 is a bit over the top.

Amazing food, we had the veg moussaka with chips, and mixed grill and the food was lovely! All well cooked and hot when served. Complimentary bread and dips was also a nice touch. Our host Natalie was attentive and provided excellent customer service

We went here for the lunch menu, the service was brilliant as the staff was very helpful and served with a smile, the portions was a very good size and the price was very reasonable for the level of quality, very flavourful and cooked to a very high standard, the restaurant it’s self is a high class interior and a very comfortable and welcoming feel, I would most definitely eat here again and would highly recommend this establishment to anyone who visits or lives in the local area 5 star from us

Great place and great food & service

My friend and I went there for dinner last night. It’s a striking looking place. The bar looks like a cocktail bar and the decor is like onyx making it feel expensive. We had a reservation (they were very busy) and the manager greeted us and was very welcoming. She made good recommendations for what to have and talked us through the menu. We shared bread and humous. The bread was incredible. I don’t know what flavouring they put on it but it was addictive. I wanted more and more. For a main I had the chicken kebab and my friend had the lamb. Mine was massive. Huge. I had no chance of finishing it so he helped out. His was more of a normal portion size. The food was excellent. Couldn’t fault it. The rice soft and fluffy and the chicken was cooked to perfection. They had live music on, he was decent and gave the place a bit of a lift / buzz. This place is great for groups. Not so sure I’d go for a first date though. But two lads having a meal out on a Saturday night it was perfect. Really liked it. Would go again.

Amazing service, Amazing staff and amazing food!

Food is brilliant which is a shame because the service isn't. Been twice, second time was to see if it was a one off, but sadly no. If you ask any questions you get blatant eye rolling, everything seems like a problem, even trying to order a drink 10 minutes after being seated. Was a uncomfortable atmosphere from the moment we arrived. Will not be back.

We didn't eat but the smell of foid is divine. Staff are super sweet and friendly. Will definitely be back for Classic Marghueita and eat in next time. Great atmosphere and clean as a whistle. I fully recommend

Unfortunately a very disappointing experience. First and last time we will be paying a visit to Ibos. The service was incredibly slow and almost non existent unless you were flagging down the waiters. The food was average at best! With the meals taking over an hour to arrive. Upon raising our feedback the manager was incredibly dismissive and argumentative despite the feedback being genuine and delivered respectfully. They handled it so poorly I was prepared to walk out without paying!

We have visited the place for first time. It was incredible how the service was within busy times . It was perfect! We had 2 course meal , everyone loved it. Staff is very polite and happy during at work Will be back in 2024 . Thank you IBOS

Meh. Chicken shish was very very dry. Too expensive all round. Bread came after our main. Deadest chips. Service 3/10. Everything looks nice though.

Booked a table for 3 people for our works Xmas party (small independent business 🙈😂) and when we turned up the restaurant was packed! However despite how busy they were the food was served quickly, it was delicious and the staff could not have been more attentive. Very impressed with their management of such a busy night. Great atmosphere and a great night. Would highly recommend.

I have eaten here on a few occasions and enjoyed every time. I have the lambs liver last time and that was delicious. So much so I tried to recreate it at home but didn’t come close. I need to speak with the chef and get his recipe.

Visited on Saturday night with my friends. They were seated before I arrived & told we would need to be done by 8.15. Which wasn’t mentioned when booking but never mind. After that we had some cocktails & food. Once we had eaten the food, plates were cleared one of the party had another cocktail. When we opted to not have desert we were reminded again we had to be gone by 8.15. We paid the bill & one of the group used the toilet we waited at the table, still only 8pm to which one of the waitresses walked past looking at her watch whilst implying we were holding them up. Such a shame this happened. I wouldn’t return based on this experience however good the food was.

We went there for my Daughter's 1st Birthday on Tuesday as our usual was close. Didn't know what to expect but the food was delicious and the atmosphere and service was excellent. I will definitely go back, this is my favourite restaurant in town now. Loved the ice-cream and candle at the end of our meal for my little one, I wasn't expecting it and it was very touching.

Starters and mains were amazing!

Took my family for birthday meal and i haven't had good experience today. It wasn't good service at all today had to ask them for plates, cutlery then one of us food didn't came he didn't took ordered properly. The man was working there he wasn't looking happy at all today with us. So ruiened the day. Not happy at all.

The chicken had feathers. This is the first rime I have seen this.. I was disappointed I gave it to my dog. My husbands was fine.

We were passing through Hitchin on the A505 and needed somewhere to eat. We took a chance on Ibo's and boy were we impressed! Friendly, efficient service and super tasty food. The flatbread and dips were so good we almost didn't leave enough room for our amazing shish kebab mains! My wife had the chicken and I had the lamb, both of which were really tender. Really easy to park around the corner after 6pm - which was lucky as we were so full we needed to waddle to the car!

Such a wonderful place! Best Lamb shish - so succulent and tasty! Great cocktails and super flaming saganaki starter. They found out it was my Dad’s birthday and gave us some wine and an ice cream dessert with a candle in it and sang him happy birthday! He was made up. Treated like royalty!!! Thanks so much will be back again!

We had a wonderful experience at Ibos this evening. The owner served us personally, and all the staff have a great sense of humour. The overall ambiance, service, and food were outstanding. The atmosphere and food is amazing, very tasty BUT not good for gluten free. They have a gluten free menu- which says that dishes are served with rice and salad (standard for a Turkish restaurant). However their rice isn't gluten free. I don't know what they do to it to make a naturally gluten free food not gluten free. Chips aren't gluten free either and they are no alternatives. So meat arrives with just a salad whilst everyone around has rice/chips etc. They could easily offer plain rice to go with their amazing meat.

Absolutely outstanding. I am a keen cook and the food was faultless, yet again. I can’t recommend Ibos highly enough. Utterly delicious food, and each of the 8 dishes were perfectly cooked. The portion size was very generous, and even the salad side dishes were perfectly dressed. Don’t go anywhere else for food, either in-house or takeaway!

Good food, a little over priced. But the cocktails are great..
