Great atmosphere, friendly staff with a good selection of beer

Fantastic service and atmosphere. unfortunately they do not do food but if they did I'm sure that would be top notch also.

Don't do food. But do do lovely ales,well kept and a choice of lesser known Cider. We popped in on our countryside hike b4 setting off on the journey back to Ipswich . Were made to feel welcome and had a good chat amongst ourselves, the staff and regulars.

Wonderful selection of real beers great staff and decor. No food served but if you know that before you go in your not disappointed.

Lovely local pub that was so welcoming and dog friendly. We are staying in a holiday rental locally and went on a lovely local walk. Had this pub as our final stop. Was wonderful. Even though we and the dogs were very muddy they didn’t mind in the least, dogs had a wonderful time playing with the pub dog Dave. We had lovely chats with the owners and locals. Wine and beer was brilliant and great value. Couldn’t of hoped for better. They then topped it off with a Mac and Cheese van in their car park, that we shared before walking home. We will be back.

Lovely local. No food (pizza van outside once a week) but great ale and a great selection of gins too.

Great local pub, they do not do food but have a great selection of locally brewed ales, 2 lagers 1 cider & guiness on tap & a selection of both alcoholic & nin alcoholic ales & lager. Fab selection of wine and spirits including some from a suffolk based distiller

Fantastic pub with great atmosphere and superb selection of locally brewed quality beers and home cooked food (proper pizza oven as well) If your walking along the Stour this is the perfect place for a stop off or even visiting Holbrook you must go in.

Great little pub. Went for first-time yesterday after refurb. Lovely atmosphere and toasty wood burner. Will set go back and also try their food. The menu looks good!

Very friendly pub with a nice atmosphere. Great selection on tap, hadn't heard of the Calvors brewery before but really enjoyed sampling all of their lager and ales - the Premium Pilsner was so good we sought out several bottles to bring home! Visited a few times on a recent holiday, we got a few looks but the local crowd was very welcoming (not used to strangers saying hello in London!) Board games available too, enjoyed a few games of Scrabble one long afternoon.

Very smart drinking pub with a very good atmosphere. The staff was very friendly, free WiFi, good selection of beer; but could do with a larger selection of bar snacks.
