We were met with a friendly welcome. The food was served fast and was hot and cooked well. Very tasty! We will definitely visit again.

Great Chinese. Best chicken balls I've had. Always freshly cooked,very flavoursome food and a large menu too. Give it a go. We'll worth a try. Can even have a nice pint next door at the Exchange pub.

Excellent! Lovely lady took my order and our takeaway, set menu for two was ready 10 mins later. We took it back to Thaxted (a 25 minute drive) and it was still hot when we got back. Delicious!

Absolutely amazing Chinese food the very best one in the entire area. Very recently made the mistake of going to the other Chinese, which is very close by due to our “good luck” being closed. All I can tell you is the other Chinese, that we had was average at best. Good Luck Chinese is probably the best Chinese Takeaway I’ve ever been to! Another thing I’ve noticed is the few one star reviews, are left by very questionable accounts. As you can see the review with every left one review. There is no chance on Earth. Anybody would leave good luck Chinese 1 star, because they hugely care about the food quality. So personally think the one star reviews are fake and buy competitor… Either way absolutely outstanding Chinese food from Good Luck and I am a complete foodie. I’ve been to many Chinese takeaways and restaurants thus far in my life, and this is one of the very top for tasty Chinese food, coupled with very reasonable prices and great portions sizes in the country.

After seeing the other good reviews I was expecting something special. I was very disappointed, the food was bland and oily. I won't be going back.

This is hands down the very best Chinese take away I've had the absolute pleasure to order from. It's a pure gem! So glad to have found it. I drive 21 minutes to get this take away and I'd happily drive an hour if needs be, The food is flawlessly delicious and extremely moreish. Portion sizes are very perfect and generous! There is so much care that goes into each dish, the flavour is outstanding and It's obvious the establishment cares a lot about the quality and the brilliant food. There's a good reason for all of these great reviews! Also, customer service is top notch and the lovely people at the counter go the extra mile to make their customers happy. A few of my many many favourites from here: Deep fried crispy beef is just perfect, so crunchy and delicious, just the way it's supposed to be, I also hugely recommend the "good luck special chow main"and the "Smoked Chicken". In fact, the list goes on and on and on. I actually recommend every single dish but I can't list them all, you'll have to go try them for yourself! :) If you try "good luck" one time, it will be your favourite Chinese take away forever! I have used the Good Luck for a number of years. The service is friendly and efficient, the food always on time , hot and tasty. There are never any mistakes with the orders. If you wish you can pop into the Royal Exchange for a quick beverage whilst you wait...

So since moving locally this is the 4th Chinese takeaway we as a family of 5 have tried. Have to say food was really tasty, Hong Kong pork and crispy chilli beef were the highlights. We will order from here from now on. Only one point to say which could be improved was we got collection and was told 20-25mins, I arrived at on-time and waited an additional 15 mins in the front of the shop.

Had the Thai green curry, egg fried rice and mini spring rolls. Really can't fault it. Curry was quite sweet but really tasty and spicy. Chicken was nice and tender. Would order again. Cheers.

The staff are polite and friendly. I love the size of portions and I have never had disappointing meal from there. Good value for money too. Bag of prawn crackers are always offered and accepted because we just love them! Good Luck is the best!

Great place for a Chinese on a weekend. Staff are always polite.

Bought from here on Friday night and within 5 hours violently sick. All weekend spent in bed and when called at 7pm Sunday evening requesting money back I was told they would speak to the insurance company and call back. Called back within 20 minutes, having apparently spoken with an insurance company on a Sunday evening. Recommended that I take the food to an environmental food specialist in Bury St Edmunds. Not worth the hassle for a 20quid refund nor would it have been worth the bad reviews they received as a result. Poor.

Busy, had to wait for 30 mins when arrived, after we phoned in 45 mins before. And had 1 of the orders wrong.

Just spent over £33 at Good Luck, salt and pepper prawn was solid and tasted like it was cooked a couple of days ago, pancake rolls were soggie and cold, chow mein was like no Chow mein I had ever tasted before, very disappointed and feel ripped off, my husband said the Chicken balls were nice

In fact, when I've eaten Chinese from any other restaurant or takeaway, it is never even a fraction as good as my favourite local takeaway. Offering authentic Chinese flavours with a British twist, there is a variety of dishes to choose from and is something for everyone - even the fussiest of eaters (although I must definitely recommend their Sweet and Sour Chicken Balls. Yummy!)

This is the best Chinese restaurant in haverhill by an absolute mile. Huge menu reasonable prices and most importantly really great food. These guys do not deliver which I think is possibly why the food is better they are not constantly trying to rush food out of the door

First time going to this restaurant and I must say it was delicious. I was trying the standard chicken curry and chips and I loved both of them. The flavour of the curry was very nice and the chips were slightly crispy, just how I like them. Definitely recommend them.

We have been using this Chinese, for quite a few years going back to the 70's and have never had to complain about the service. The will even cook small portions if required.

We always get our Chinese from here! It has lots of flavour and they never get an order wrong! The only down side is they don't deliver! But great service and hot food too!

Friendly staff, always one lady in particular who makes us welcome. This is the only Chinese that I'll eat from, wouldn't go anywhere else. Love their sweet and sour ribs! And who can't resiste eating prawn crackers on the way home?!

Menu is good, family who runs it are British Chinese, and very friendly. The owner is also a local councillor and does a lot for the good of the town. Food is always freshly made, and service is as quick as it can be. Very busy on bank holidays but you can order in advance, even the day or so before.

Puede ser truco para estacionar cerca de la tienda de comida para llevar, pero hay público cerca por detrás del centro de las Artes de Haverhill (más o menos enfrente de la Royal Exchange). Viajamos a buena suerte chino cada fin de semana desde Ridgewell. Es siempre caliente sabroso y fresco. llevar la mejor comida china que he tenido. En un viernes o un sábado, tienes que llamar y darles un montón de previo aviso. No hacen entrega lo que es una pena. Pero vale la pena viajar.

Tenía un lunes para llevar desde aquí fue muy buena calidad y el personal cuando mi esposa preguntó sobre cómo se aseguró un plato caliente fue hecho para ella los requisitos que me dejó impresionado. Era el mismo precio que cualquiera de los otros sitios chinos en la ciudad. Para una pequeña comida para llevar que estaba muy lleno, lo que después de haber comido no me sorprende, que está escondido pero bien vale la pena tomarse el tiempo para encontrarlo.
