Absolutely love the Seaspan and the staff. Always friendly and always welcoming. Better than most average pubs as they will often supply roast potatoes on a Sunday. Always a winner.

No food is available, but my husband said the Guiness is really good. Nice place to chill and chat

This is a very popular local pub with entertainment every weekend. The owner's are very friendly and make you welcome.

Cracking little pub, friendly people.

For an old school pub feel as you walk in, is what you get walking into seaspan. Didn't realise it was a free house having driven past over the years. Had an enjoyable afternoon chatting with friends and were made to feel very welcome by social locals. Karaoke seems to be a regular Saturday night event, with a large selection of draft beers/ciders an spirits. Will be returning for alfresco socialising.

Always a friendly atmosphere and a warm welcome, dog friendly.

OMG this pub is the best. I don't live here but my sister and brother inlaw does. They make you feel so welcome thank you Anne and Richard. What a lovely couple and the regulars are friendly too. Make time to visit here. Its right down the end of Clacton right opposite the Toby Carvery.

Lovely atmosphere, pool table, fantastic pub dog. Could sit outside on the patio all afternoon! If you sit inside, you will feel the warmth of the locals immediately. Can't go wrong at the Seaspan!

We love this pub. Moved here last September and so glad we have the best pub on our doorstep. Richard, Ann and the staff are fantastic. Met some lovely people here. Very friendly and happy place 😊

Love The Seaspan, landlord lives on site and is friendly and welcoming. Venue takes card payments. Drinks choices are numerous and there are frequent themed event days. No food served on site. Location is residential overlooking the sea and bowling green. Dog and child friendly venue. Venue has a dog which enjoys having play fetch with. Pool table also available on site which is coin operated.

Watched the Air show from the garden outside. The pub had put on entertainment and provided food caterers for their customers. I enjoyed the experience and applaud management for their thinking. Staff were friendly and welcoming.

Lovely little pub with beer garden, just one road back from the promenade and beach; consequently not packed with tourists on a hot Sunday by the sea. Situated behind the Toby Carvery which was packed. Excellent choice of beers at reasonable prices another good reason to visit, along with the friendly and efficient service.

This pubs pretty much what you'de expect in a town like clacton, everyone knows everyone and are friendly. Shame the same could'nt be said for the landlady, her customer skills left a lot to be desired, not sure she actually likes serving anyone, seemed like it was a chore for her, she was very rude and kept throwing dirty looks towards people. Also maybe give the toilets and floor a going over as it smelt strongly of stale urine. Wont be drinking here again.

Not sure why Google showed this as a club because it's a pub - and a very good one. A warm welcome and very friendly staff and locals. Nice cider on a sunny day, sitting outside relaxing. Just off the seafront, ideal if you fancy a pint.
