Had a lovely meal here, food was freshly cooked and very tasty, the house wine was also good. I had the brushetta followed by chicken with aubergine and both were lovely. My husband had the cheesecake for dessert which was also very good. Staff were friendly and food arrived at the appropriate times. All in all a lovely evening
Very disappointed with the whole experience to be honest.
Every meal we ordered was below average. The salt and pepper chicken burger had no salt and pepper and was exactly the same as the chicken goujons except on a bap. The tequila slaw was a watered down version of budget coleslaw and was exactly a tablespoon in size. Presentation was terrible and for a price tag of over £17 it was daylight robbery. Sunday lunch was a let down and I have had better pizzas from the freezer section in Aldi.
Overall it was really disappointing for the prices they charge and will definitely not be visiting again 😕
Lovely atmosphere, and great food with nice big portions. Our waiters were amazing, nabaraja gc and binita, thank you for the amazing experience and for the hospitality. Food again, 10/10 fantastic :)
If you want a proper kebab 🥙 in Leicester, only Picnic Kebab House will do the trick. I've Been eating from here since the 80's when it first opened. The only other place I would go for kebab's is Pavlos on Queens road. 👌🏽
I am extremely disappointed with my recent experience with this restaurant. While the food remains good, the service has hit an all-time low, and I can no longer recommend this place.
First, they advertise one price online but charged more upon delivery, which feels dishonest.
The worst part was the customer service. When we called to inquire about the pricing issue, the lady on the phone was rude, shouting over the call and saying, “If you don’t want the food, ask the driver to return it.” This is no way to treat loyal, regular customers.
Sadly, after this experience, we won’t be ordering from here again. I hope the management addresses these issues before they lose more of their regulars.
This review highlights the issues and your disappointment while maintaining a constructive tone. Let me know if you want to tweak it further!
We dropped in for beers on Thursday night and Friday night. Thursday was quiet, Friday was very busy. On both occasions staff were prompt helpful and polite. The Pedigree was good. My dog was made very welcome by both the staff & the customers.

I’ve ordered from here through Just Eat the Mix Grill Platter which contains (as per their description) 2x Lamb Chops, 1/4 Peri Peri Grilled Chicken, 3x Peri Peri Grilled Wings, Pita Bread, Fries and Fresh Salad. Waited for an hour or so and paid £22.98 (including delivery and service fees). The 3x Peri Peri Grilled Wings were actually 3x 1/2 wings, salad looked like 1-2 chopped leaf of small salad, all delivered in a small pizza box (was confused when I got the order and asked the driver to confirm it’s my order). I would not recommend anyone to get anything from here. Even the £15 at the restaurant for the same dish is rubbish. In the pictures you will see eaten wings because by the time I’ve took the picture my partner started eating it as she was hungry. My partner said the food was good in terms of taste but the rest… I’ll let the pictures speak for themselves.
Re-review: The very rude reply from the restaurant speaks for itself! Also it’s clear from the reply that the didn’t read my review properly (eg £15 reference). You don’t have to be a farmer to know the difference between 1/2 wing and 1 chicken wing. FYI it’s the butcher who cuts them but it’s obvious you don’t know anything about it… you didn’t said anything about the “salad” or whatever was that… did the butcher cut the salad? 😂
You are not a farmer, you are not a butcher, and trust me you are neither a chef or whatever you think you are. Close the window on this nonsense!😂
