We went for the Sunday buffet, which was freshly made, a ontray of starters to share which was cooked to perfection then a 10 dish buffet with majority of our favorite dishes. Service was amazing from the moment we got in, waiters were funny. They also had a high chair, only comment for the atmosphere it's overly busy inside which is a shame as everything is fresh and taste amazing and good service provided. All around lovely.

I don't get where all of these good reviews are coming from! We visited very recently & it wasn't nice at all! These lovely food pictures on here definitely weren't on the menu. There was bearly any food & to be honest it looked like it was days old. Far far too overpriced, 100% eont be visiting again.

This restaurant deletes bad reviews on its Facebook pages... Numerous times I have posted on there,they dissappear. I don't know about the weekly food offerings but the Sunday buffet food is absolutely dire,with a spongy strange type of chicken(it's definitely not chicken)only about 10 tin trays with a badly assorted range of food there to start with,all of it only luke warm which is worrying,with them bringing out top ups in small dishes to slightly refill,clearly microwaved offerings. Only the veg in the dishes seems ok. At £20 per person for the buffet and considering what's there and the poor quality,its absolutely not worth it. If you live in Nottingham then take yourself off to MaySum in town and get a real buffet!!!

Lovely looking restaurant. The decor is on point. The lighting was perfect. The staff were very courteous and although run off their feet, they provided a great service.

We visited here as a group of three on a Friday night. We were welcomed and seated immediately. The waiters were very attentive, frequently visiting our table to check whether we needed anything and certainly gave the impression that nothing was too much trouble. The service was very prompt. One of us just had a main whilst the other two ordered a set menu which was great value and the amount of food included was generous! We all enjoyed our meal and all the food was delicious. To top it all off the waiter offered us complimentary teas and coffee's! Good food, good service and good price!

My partner and I went for the Sunday buffet, as we have wanted to try the restaurant for a while. Even though the staff were friendly, We were very disappointed as some dishes not as hot as we would have liked. Chips were cold as not on the hotplate. Starter was a plate made up from the kitchen, there was not much choice of main dishes and a few desserts. Didn't think it was worth £20 each.

I’m just a bit confused I’ve visited tonight and 90% of the food in the pics was not there I don’t understand we only visited because of goggle pics and how nice it looked Is Sunday left overs day Please someone help me out here

Best Chinese meal we've had in a very long time... Absolutely delicious food, generous servings at a reasonable price, lovely welcoming staff. We'll definitely be back soon. Little gem in a small town.

Our first time as a couple here for our wedding anniversary. Made to feel very welcome. Food was excellent and prices such good value. Will come again.

Visited as a group on a Saturday night. We had a warm welcome and were soon seated. Great choice of food on the menu. All food ordered was fresh, beautifully cooked and delicious. The service throughout was friendly, attentive and efficient. Would recommend and will definitely be back.

If I could give zero stars I would. Our reservation was for 19.45hrs, table for 2 to celebrate my birthday. Firstly they couldn't find our booking. When we were seated, we ordered our starters and main course. The starters arrived about half an hour later with apologies it was taking too long. By 9pm, we were still waiting for our mains so I asked for the bill for what we had consumed. A man came and spoke to us apologising and said the chef will start cooking it now. By this time we had been waiting nearly 90 minutes. I insisted on the bill. They didn't even provide a discount for their incompetence. My birthday meal was ruined. We will never go back

Recently moved to the area and tried all of the Chinese’ and this one is the best by far. The chicken skewers (with extra satay) and salt and pepper chips are amazing, will be a regular customer. Also very reasonably priced compared to other places

I've lived within 6 miles of Dragon Wells for a large number of years now and up until a couple of weeks ago didn't even know it existed.. and due to just pure luck I found it online.. and after visiting it for the first time I was extremely impressed.. Walking through the door it oozes a very stylish oriental vibe with its very tasteful interior design, once seated the service was excellent, never intrusive but there just when needed (even though ibusy) The food was delicious an definite great value for money.. I will be visiting it again in the future for sure..

manager JACKIE needs to be reported. This guy have verbally abused waitresses and he inappropriately touches his waitresses in which happened more then once (they are under 18). Disgusting behaviour manager need to be in jail. Don’t dine at Dragon Wells.

We went for Sunday lunch on our Wedding Anniversary; the food was very tasty and the service was excellent, the atmosphere would have been 5 stars if more people had been in the restaurant, there were only 4 of us eating. I would imagine it's busier of an evening. We did get 20% off our meal, which was a bonus though. Would definitely visit again.

Just perfect, the hospitality, the decor (very traditional!), we were greeted by a pleasant atmosphere and excellent staff. Service time was reasonable, the food was just excellent! Love this restaurant. The owner is absolutely wonderful always comes to chat to us. My dad is elderly and has dementia but loves coming here as made to feel so welcome. The food is delicious really nicely done. Beautiful traditional Chinese restaurant we're very lucky to have so close to home ❤💯

I would love to say that my birthday meal was divine but I can't! Swinging between way over salted and extremely bland. Zero communication between the staff. Zero interest by the manager. If you are looking for an amazing meal, go to Chai Yo Thai restaurant in Nottingham. A FAR better meal and service!

Best 'Chinese' we've eaten. Dragon Wells is a lovely restaurant with very friendly and attentive staff. The food is amongst the best we've eaten and also surprisingly inexpensive too. Their takeaway service is just as good as their eat-in and, unlike most other establishments, they take payment by card. Highly recommended.

Not been to a Chinese restaurant for a long time always had a takeaway. This place is amazing the staff are lovely, the food is amazing we had to ask to take our mains home as so full from food before. Will be back and will always order the takeaway from here in future x

Best Chinese in Eastwood Notts, restaurant has been refurbished and under new ownership and it shows! Very clean delicious food though a little expensive, but you get what you pay for!. If you do not fancy Chinese cross the road and go to the Grand Siam Thai restaurant.

We visited this restaurant a couple of weeks back with friends. Always driven by and admired the stunning front. We had very hight expectations but I can honestly say we were not disappointed at all. Everything was first class. Very high standards while dining surrounded by an amazing themed interior. Food was ready quickly but was outstanding. Never tasted anything like it. Can't wait to visit again while also being excited to try their Sunday buffet.

The food was great but there was a floater in the toilet and the plants were easily stolen.
