Great hot pot. Probably the best I've had in nottingham. Good selection of items on the menu.

I have been to hot pang a few times and it is always a treat. It has delicious food and generous portions! I always make my way back when I crave the crispy chilli fried fish filet! I would definitely recommend and force my friends to come here with me every chance i get!! I made this review a year ago and thought I'd update, this is still one of my favourite places to eat in Beeston now, I even had my birthday dinner here earlier in the year. As before really good food, and I would also recommend a lot of the braised dishes, because I haven't had one yet that I haven't enjoyed!

Fancied a chinese for lunch so came by this place for a quick fix. Ordered the Xinjiang lamb and stewed vermicelli noodles with pork meatballs. The lamb was very well, but overpowering without rice and more other dishes. The noodles were nothing to get excited about and the meatballs seemed close to the ikea meatballs. Probably better ordering the a la carte in larger group with a variety of dishes + rice. Will still consider coming back to try the hot pot, since the restaurant was fairly comfortable.

Proper hearty Chinese food, none of that local takeaway menu. I have done a combination of hot pot and dishes tonight with friends. They were very content with their first time here (and hot pot). One was vegetarian/pescatarian. We enjoyed the meal. Next time we're coming for the menu.

A nice spot for hot pot lovers in Beeston. Good service and fair prices. It can sometimes get busy towards dinner time with many families coming in. They take card but cash is recommended. There are a variety of options, including a spectrum of spicy to not spicy for all tastes.

The chicken hotpot broth smelled like offal and salty. The spicy hot pot broth was oily, salty and smelled like offal too. We didn't order any offal dishes so it was a complete put off. Portions are small especially the bowls of white rice. Paper thin slices of frozen meat strunk into nothing when cooked. Service slow. Extra charges for sauce. Extra charges for paying with card. Won't be returning again.

it seems they are understaffed, food is nice and it would be great if more attention on services can be provided

Ordered hot pot with half lamb and half chicken broth. Food took a while to arrive. No atmosphere in the restaurant. Would be good to have some music playing in the background. They had a water dispenser and tissue box on each table which was different. The food was good but service and atmosphere could have been better.

Modern Chinese; spicy, salty and enjoyable Recommend the spicy fried fish, pork intestine and the zhajiangmein

That was the most authentic, full of flavour experience in England-placed chinese which I have ever had. I don't know what, but the mix of spices, ingredients or whatever makes it feel exactly like the one which I had traveling to China. A little expensive but the portions are well above for one person. The one you have to try

The food is not bad, but the waiter will randomly give you a black face By the way, at the end of December, the hotel was as cold as an ice cellar and as quiet as a haunted house.

As others have said, the food is good but trying to charge people 20% on top of the menu prices to pay with card is a scam.

No problem with the food, but when it came to pay, wanted to charge an extra 20% on the bill for paying by card as opposed to cash. Totally unacceptable.

Something from the restaurant gave me violent nausea and vomiting. Avoid. I had some tripe, aorta, duck tongue, and beef roll. I also had pig ear salad, which I found was a bit too sour. For sauce I had sesame sauce with corrander. The owner was friendly. However, it's quite pricey. They charged for the meat and the sauce. In addition, the tomato soup base was strangely sweet. Like it's made using ketchup and not tomato.

If you find yourself in Beeston you really should have a hot pot here. Simply order what you want (you can always order more as you go) and throw it into the bubbling stock in the center of table. It is all in small portions that cook really quickly. Quite the experience.

The attitude was extremely bad, because we had been outside for 2 hours in the wind, and when we came to ask them to turn on the heating, the clerk directly said how old is the eldest sister... She had diarrhea when she came back after eating, and she would not go back! The taste is not as good as that of the Han Dynasty. We also took a taxi from the park campus.

Good hot pot soup. Although the beef is the one you can get from Asia supermarket’s frozen fridge, it still worth to give 5 stars

A little gem in Beeston. Being a big fan of all authentic chinese, particularly hot pot it wasn't a case of "if" I'd ever try Hot Pang but rather "when". Everyone should try Szechuan hotpot at least once in their life - if not for trying a variety of new and exciting flavours (particularly "mala" / numbing spicy) then you should definitely go for the experience. Hot Pang might be a touch more expensive than the usual Hotpot restaurants dotted around the country (notably the all you can eat ones). But the quality of their ingredients, broth and family atmosphere really makes it worth it. "Must gets" include the Marinated Shredded Potato and Szechuan Numbing Broth! Would absolutely visit again, even better with friends!

I went here with a group of friends for a birthday lunch and was a little dubious as we couldn't find much online... but the food was amazing! It is authentic chinese and tasted so fresh and amazing. The portions were huge for the cost and they even do everything off the menu vegan. Would definitely recommend and visit again.

We went here with our 7 yr old last week and really enjoyed it. We were able to have two different hotpots which satisfies our daughter’s plain taste and our more spicy ones. We could have had a buffet or choose from the menu. We chose from the menu which suited us and really enjoyed everything. Sharing a hotpot is really good fun and VERY tasty!

Came for a quick lunch. Ordered the beef noodles in sesame chilli soup (£12.00) + sauteed fish & tofu (£9.00). Both were ok, noodles were not that spicey and both could've done with a little more seasoning. The portions were very good. Ordered the chinese tea (£3.00 + ££1.50). Can't go too wrong with hot water and dried tea leaves. Will come back for a quick chinese fix again! Don't expect much with the atmosphere, it's just white plain walls, not a date worthy place.

What a splendid place. Family that runs it is just lovely, helpful and provide a good quality service. Have tried a variety of dishes and all were just wonderful. Best Chinese in Nottingham, especially recommended the Won Ton soup 😋
